I've been poking around 3FC for awhile now and in order to help myself stick with my 4th diet attempt this year, I decided I should make a habit of visiting/posting =)
Soooo, hi! I'm Meghz. I am almost 27 years old, I live in PA, and I'm fat and tired of it!
Even though this year has been full of attempts to lose weight, I never was very strict about it. I thought it was going to fall off once I made a little effort. Turns out I need to put a lot of effort in. Losing weight is hard, go figure.
Started the Slow Carb diet with my boyfriend on Monday, it's going really well even though I'm cranky without my carbs (He assures me it gets easier..). He's lost 150lbs after getting the lap band surgery and still wants to lose another 50 before he starts shopping around for plastic surgeons. It'll be really nice having a buddy and really nice not having to cook two different meals
In August I started doing the Couch to 5K program with the bride of a Feb 2012 wedding I'm in, I haven't made it very far into it because I have a lot of respiratory set backs. My most recent was that I struggled through a month of week 3 wanting to die the whole time and not improving, only to find out I've had bronchitis the whole month! So C25K is slow going for me but I like it. I feel really accomplished. The bride and I are determined to be "runners" by spring so we can go jogging in the park and not feel like jokes hehe =)
