South Beach Diet - Old Photos

View Full Version : Old Photos

So I was searching my computer for an old photo to share w/ someone and I happened across one of me and my bestfriend from the old days where we were going out clubbing every weekend. I could not believe I was looking at the same person. Literally, I feel like a completely different person than the woman shown in that photo.

Maybe there's another thread around here like this...if so, mods please feel free to merge. But I'm going to share my embarrassing photo and hope that it will encourage others to post theirs up as a reminder of how far they've come.

So without further ado... 3436_n.jpg

Here's my fat girl pic. It's my reminder of why I shouldn't eat donuts and hash browns for breakfast...LOL. I am on the left.

I on the other hand could never participate in such things because all of my pics are literally from the neck up LOL.

Thanks, everybody. I tell ya, looking at that photo has really made me stop and think about how stupid I'm being being so impatient about being plateaued, LOL

Great work, Natasha! It is so exciting for me to read about others who are farther along and doing what I want to do. :cheer2:

Amazing, Natasha and grneyedmustang! Yep, it's a definite reason not to eat hash browns and donuts for breakfast!

Here are my Driver's License mugshots-from 2007 and 2010.

I've lost at least 15 more pounds since my latest DL. It's funny, I don't ever wear makeup other than lipstick and my complexion is so different now.

OMG I swear I suffered from Fatorexia. When that pic was taken I was at a dance with some friends and thought I looked super hot until I saw the pictures. They tagged me on FB and I was TOTALLY MORTIFIED!!!! At first I was like "Oh who's the fat chick.....OMG THAT'S ME! LOL"

I'm trying to see the "truth" now and still not get caught up in my fatorexia which is why I'm taking tons of pics to see the real me, naked and all....cause the rolls on the camera don't lie girl! LOL It's easy for me to say....wheww ok I'm not like that anymore I'm so much better, yeah true but I can still do better you know?

I completely understand...and I'd bet the majority of the people here do, too. ;)

I decided to resurrect this thread with the subtitle - why I stay mostly on plan even through holidays.
I have pictures like this all over the place to remind me what happens when I stop making good food choices
