I know many of us like to keep up little goals along the way so let's share what our next one or 2 will be.
I'm very excited to hit mine. They are within 2 pounds of each other so should come very close. :)
Mini goal: 351 – 25 lbs
mini goal: 349 -27lbs under 350!!!
I have 3 pounds to go to the first one and just 5 to hit that under 350 mark.
The one after those 2 will be losing my daughter in weight. She weighs 32 pounds and is 2 + years old so I'm excited to hold her up and know I lost her in weight. 344: lose daughter in weight – 32 pounds

Mine are within a few lbs of each other too.
Mini-goal 1: 1/3 of the way to goal 221
Mini-goal 2: Down 40 lbs 218
I haven't been close to these weights in over 5 years. I'm determined to have my weight fully under control by the time I'm 30. I'm hoping to be down at least 50 lbs before I see my husband again in January (he's deployed).

I just hit one of my mini-goals, 10% gone! (shameless self plug, I posted pics in the mini-goal section, hehe).
My next mini-goal is 34lb lost putting me at 198. Not sure how I came up with that arbitrary number
After that is 50 lb lost / 182
Then 62 lb lost / 170 goal weight!
Breaking them up like that makes things seem easier. I only have 3 more "rounds" to go!
My next goal is 249 and is actually multipurpose -- it'll mark 60 (holy crap!) lbs gone and leave me with exactly 100 to get to my original goal. Also! It will mean I'm officially, for the first time in my life, lighter than my driver's license weight! Soooo looking forward to that :)

11 lbs to go to get back down to my lowest point. I gained after I changed jobs, and it took me a while to get serious again to losing it.

And 249 will put you under that half century mark. Getting under 50 is huge cause you are in the bottom half of the 200s!

Mini-goal 1: 240
Mini-goal 2: 238 (that'll be 40 lbs. lost - the most I'll have ever lost while trying to lose weight)

My first goal may be overly ambitious BUT I want to have my wedding ring fit again by Nov. 13th. This is my husband's birthday. I haven't been able to wear my ring in 5 years. I had to take it off when I was 6 months pregnant with our first daughter because of the swelling. I haven't been been able to get it on since. I have always refused to get it resized because I always told myself that I was going lose the weight. I would LOVE to be able to surprise him by having it on that day.
My second goal is a scale goal- 220. This is my pre-pregnancy weight from baby #3 (she is one month old now). I have 15 pounds to go to get there. And hey- if I achieve this goal before or simultaneously with goal #1 that would just be a bonus. :)
My next goal after 220 will be to get under 200. I haven't been under 200 pounds in 5 years.

My next goal I'm really close to and is to be 239, which will mean I have a BMI under 40 and no longer have to put "morbidly" in front of "obese". Then after that I want to get to 220- that's the weight that has been on my drivers license since I got it at 16 so actually having it would be true would be awesome! It wasn't even true when I got my license!

I have not even thought about goals since I just started a week ago. I just throught anything lower than this is better than where I'm at. But I would like to loose 10% of my weight which would be 31 pounds.
Also some smaller goals is to start getting real about counting my calories, drinking more water, and to watch my portion sizes.
Good luck to everyone!!

My next mini-goal is a healthy BMI (155lbs) and I have 19lbs left to lose to get there. I haven't been there in over 8 years and I have to admit at the beginning of my journey is was really hard to imagine that I'd get there eventually!!
I actually just hit one of my mini-goals recently (my prepregnancy weight/lowest adult weight) so that was pretty exciting! :carrot:

My next mini goal is 100 lbs lost. That would be at 175 lbs. Right now I'm at 179.5 lbs and 4.5 lbs away.
After that would be my final mini-goal, going for the final goal (165 lbs).
Although I am already thinking of lowering that final goal right now, we'll see when I finally get there.

Weight wise, my next mini goal is 158 because that will take me out of the obese category.
Non weight wise - and what I'll hit first - is running 4 miles straight. I did 3.75 tonight!

All I have to say is thank goodness PA does not require you to list your weight on you license! It's bad enough I'm stuck with a fat picture! LOL.
Love reading all the goals.

My next mini goal is Onederland, and the one after that is 191, which is both my 3rd 10% of body weight lost and what will move me from Obese to Overweight.
I've been having a rough couple of weeks on the scale, thought, so my immediate goal is to get back down - and past - my current ticker weight after a gain. I still think the gain was PMS related but TOM still hasn't shown yet, and no whoosh.

I'm 229 now and my next goal is 225 because then I will be severely obese instead of morbidly obese... Then onederland... Then my goal weight of 150...
Absolutely, oneLess! Then I can say I'm in the "lower" 200s. :)

My mini goals are all in my siggy. Right now I'm working towards Onederland. =) A big deal for obvious reasons. My current weight is already a huge accomplishment for me, but I know I haven't been under 200 since my early teen years so I'm really looking forward to that milestone. I'm hoping to get there by thanksgiving, especially since I'll be seeing a great deal of my family.

My next minigoal is Onderland. I might be there now, but I made my partner hide the scale because I was weighing myself every 5.6 seconds. I'm going to (try to) wait until Halloween to weigh.
I met a minigoal this morning at the gym...running for 15 minutes without stopping or slowing down. THAT one felt pretty good.
After getting to Onderland, I'll be pretty eager for 190. That will mark 100 pounds lost.

My next goals are 75 pounds down at 213, and Onederland. I'd REALLY like to hit them both by New Year's, but my plan is to do the best I can and see what happens.

Well my first mini goal is 205 because that is how much a spa treatment that I really want would cost. I told myself that when I got to 205 I would treat myself :) I have been saving up some money each week but I think I may get to 205 before I have enough cash! hmmm may have to sell something :) only 9 lbs to go!
My other mini goal is 199. For a two reasons 1)seeing a 1 at the start of my weight, it has been about 14 years since I have seen a 1. 2)that will be 50lbs lost which is more weight then I have ever lost before :carrot: only 15 lbs to go!

I really loved reading everyone else's mini goals. I have so many to keep me pumped and excited. I blew through my 25 pound one this morning! Now I just have like a pound to go to hit my next one. These 2 being so close has really kept me focused.

My next mini-goal to to get to 175 (11 pounds to go). That would get me out of the obese category and would get me back to the weight I was when I started my current job 13 years ago. I was so optimistic back then! I had lost some weight and bought a new wardrobe to match my new job but things didn't work out quite the way I planned, so here I am again - but older and wiser!
250 is my next one; my last one was 275, and I just hit it. I keep them simple--25 pounds apart.

I just set one this morning....I want to get out of the 200's at Thanksgiving...That's 4 weeks and 4 days to get off another 9.3 pounds.....If I keep having weeks like this past week, it'll be easy (down 2.4 this week)!! Other than that...When I hit 20 down I want a new haircut.

Good morning! I am on my second day of healthy living :)
Any suggestions for a mini goal? I was 262.4 yesterday morning when I started... I don't want to pick something too big that I will get discouraged about... I appreciate any ideas :)
Thanks!

.6 lbs to the next bead on my charm bracelet.
5 lbs from there to onderland
15 lbs from there to half way.

Any suggestions for a mini goal?
I suggest a mini-goal that isn't tied to how much you weigh, since you only have indirect control over that. Too many variables go into determining your weight on a particular day.
I favor setting behavior-oriented goals, which are completely within my control. If I meet those goals, the numbers come on their own - but my success at meeting the goal doesn't depend upon the vicissitudes of water retention, speed of digestion, and other factors that go into the numbers. It depends only upon what I do, or do not do.
My mini-goals right now are:
* Get through Halloween without eating any more candy, including the day or two after Halloween when piles and piles of leftover treats appear in the office kitchen
* Exercise six days this week - 3 lifting days, and 3 running days
My next goal is to get to 140. THEN I will figure out what my new goal is and set a new one :) Only 13 more lbs! It seemed like a million miles away when I started!

My next mini goal will be to weigh in at 210 pounds, I have 11.2 pounds to lose, with no deadline to reach that goal but I'm thinking by about early December if I'm diligent.

I have three sets of mini-goals going, that way one is always within reach.
I've been at 229-229.5 for a while, with some dips into 226. I ate out Monday (Pizza Hut!), so I was worried about what the scale would say today. It read 223.5, which puts me past one of my goals. 224 was the benchmark for 20% weight loss from my original weight. I'm already there!
My next goals are 216 (down to obesity class I) and 210 (the halfway point). I can't wait for 210!

I have mini-goals in 20 lb increments, so my next (and first) mini-goal is 260! I am excited for 220 as well, which is my previous low weight and 199, for obvious reasons. I am no longer obese when I reach 174, so I'm pumped for that one. All my minigoals are in my signature, but for now I can only think of the first one.

Back under 199 (7 more pounds, I am bloated so this should go fast)
Back to 189 (where I hung out for ages)

My next mini-goal is ultra mini - I want to get to 198 (I am at 199) because that will be 10% of my weight lost. My next mini-goal is to get to 190 because that is the halfway mark from where I started to where I want to end up.

Hi, all. I have been absent for quite a while. A bout with breast cancer and reconstructive surgery have kept me quiet on these boards for some reason.
I am getting so close to goal but am so very stuck despite staying on plan, staying off grains, starches, sugars (except for the occasional mocha in my coffee) and keeping calories around 1300.
Since weight fluctuates so much for me since surgery, my goals are focused on behavior, expecting weight to follow. Ideally, I would like to be down another 8 - 10 pounds by December 10, which is about 6 weeks. Hard pushing my body right now, but I'm game!
