I don't have any pics and I'm far from a success story (for now) but I've been really happy calorie counting. For 2.5 months this year I dedicated myself to calorie counting (May and September 4-present). In that time I lost 33 lbs. I still have a lot more to go but I'm pretty positive that I'll be sticking to this plan for the long haul.

Hi, if you go to the 'goal' forum, there are plenty of inspiring stories and pictures there!

I've been calorie counting (about 1200 cal/day) for 31 weeks and have lost 95lb in that time. I haven't yet posted before and after pics, but hope to soon.

Well, I don't weigh myself, but I started calorie counting on June 1, and I've gone from a size 14 to a size 10P (that P was an important victory for me because I'm short and it's nice to be able to buy size 10 in petites again).

I am so happy about my progress because for about 5 years, I just allowed myself to get bigger and bigger and bigger because I could not face having to put boundaries around my eating again. I've finally let it sink in that I will always have to have a boundary around my eating or face being fat my whole life.

Looking at other poster's pics are what kept me motivated. I added pics to my siggy, I tried to make it smaller but it won't shrink *sigh* I started CC on January 12th and have lost 61 pounds.
