A little about me..I am 28 and just a little over 5 feet at 5' 0.7" tall. I was 105-115 in high school and my first year of college. Was pregnant at 19 and had my son at age 20. I gained a total of 78 lb during my pregnancy. I was 140, which is overweight according to my BMI, a few months after my pregnancy and no matter what I did, the weight did not budge. I was very unhappy. Six years after my first pregnancy I hired a personal trainer. I was able to lose 4 lb bringing my weight down to 136.

My husband and I tried year after year for a second baby but it did not happen. We opted for IVF and was told it was not successful. This happened while I was working with my personal trainer. Then a month later I was pregnant and was placed on bed rest for my entire pregnancy. I gained 35 lb during my pregnancy. A few months post-op I was 147. Eleven pounds heavier than when I started.

My clothes did not fit the way it used to. On June 12, 2011 (11 months after delivering my daughter) I decided enough was enough. I started calorie counting and added walking and jogging 6 days/week.

Now 4 months later I have lost almost 25 lb with a little over 17 lb to goal. I have never had so much confidence and feel so much better about myself. I am still calorie counting. Exercise-wise I do P90X, 30 Day Shred, and either jogging, biking, or playing tennis 6 days/week.

Here are my progress pictures:

These were from December 2010 and I was between 147-149 in these pictures.
