Default Thinner= Colder

The temperatures are changing and I'm finding that I'm much colder than ever before. I'm normally cold but this is ridiculous. Does losing weight make you colder in the winter?

When our first cold snap hit I froze to death, but now it's better. I'm not the furnace I used to be, but the looking-for-a-coat-because-it-hit-70 phase has, thankfully, passed.

Not as much body fat too keep you warm. The same thing happens to me. People ask if I'm crazy for freezing when its 100 degrees outside. Psh. They don't get it.

Ugh I am going through this right now. I used to live for the cold weather but now I absolutely hate it. I'm FREEZING ALL THE TIME. It almost makes me want to move down south. Almost

My friend lost a lot of weight too and we're both freezing all the time haha.

My boyfriend is telling me to buy a north face fleece to wear everywhere but I don't know if that is going to be enough... I don't think wearing a down coat would be appropriate to wear indoors everywhere... Do the down vests work??

I found a good cure that also burns calories though! I am walking/running some stairs at work when I get cold now. Can't hurt!

Yup. The little things that no one tells us about weight loss.

Also, sitting on concrete stairs/bleachers hurts of a heck of a lot more now that my butt is more boney

I have this issue too. I wear a jacket all day at work and at home. It is still 70 degrees here. I foresee a LONG COLD winter ahead.

I went to the local thrift shop today and picked up an Eddie Bauer down vest for $4.
And I found a nice goosedown quilt for $25.

And I bought some very thin acrylic sweaters to wear under my bulkier sweaters. Everything is in the wash now.
Layering really helps keep me warmer in this cooler weather.

I also found a new genuine sheepskin/fleece jacket for $15.50!
WOW!

I should be warmer now...

My cheeks aren't so "cheeky" anymore..and I'm talking both sets....
upper and lower.

Great buys! Definitely sounds like you have it "under wraps" now

(ok, it's cheesy but it gave me a giggle)

I will probably wear a t-shirt under uniform at work, but hot flashesr need to go away first.
