Default Upping points for better weight loss?

I have been eating more points this week, and a quick preview on the scale this morning shows that my weightloss has kicked up a notch this week.
Has this happened to others? As you get closer to your goal (and I am almost 35 down, with about 20 to go) do you need to eat more to lose (not maintain)?

I do not think there's a universal answer to this. It could have to do with what you're using your points on, or how much activity you're getting in.

There are far too many variables.

Not to mention the fact that since weight loss isn't linear there could be times when staying on plan doesn't show as well on the scale, and then weeks later it "catches up".
