Default Has anybody lost weight using their BMR calc?

I just worked out my BMR, with exercise it says i could realistically lose a pound a week (which is what i want) eating 2000 calories (working out 3 times a week at 5"9) but this seems like soo much!
Has anybody else calculated their BMR and lost weight sticking with the calories it tells you?

I don't think that estimate is unreasonable. I would use the BMR as a starting point but reevaluate after a few weeks or according to how you feel (hungry/not hungry).

I did, along with other factors, and it worked for me. Over 100 lbs. in a year's time, and I've kept it off without starving as well. As ERHR said, try it and if it seems to high, tweak it down a little until you find the right number for the weight loss you want. Good luck!
