Sooo, tomorrow my baby will be one year old. Awesome, right? Not awesome? Knowing that I have studiously avoided posting a single picture with him because I have been 40 lbs heavier than the heaviest I am in a pic on FB. And that was 228! Early this year, I wanted to slim down and set a goal of being "Facebook-friendly" by his birthday. Well, life happened and I fell off the wagon for months. I just weighed in yesterday for the first time since July. I'd lost 3 pounds. Better than gaining, but I was dispirited. There's no thin me to reveal tomorrow (even if only to myself). But I got a break. DH took a pic of me and the baby on a children's train ride tonight and it concealed well, my caboose. It's the first picture in a year that I feel comfortable posting, so tomorrow it goes up. Don't know if I can embrace it as a profile pic, but I will try. My desire to lose and post lots more pictures is renewed.

Great job in losing while "life got in the way!" But, life is always going to get in the way. We might as well just realize that and deal with it day to day instead of long term. Keep up the good work and the rest of those pounds will follow. Can't wat to see photos.
