I'm glad my mistake turned into something good I think this is a good idea too as there does get to be a lot of pages for three days. Couldn't sleep any longer so I'm posting from my phone in bed. Still very dark here so it feels like fall which I loooove. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

frankie77: If you are out there, I wanted to say that I love your quotes in your signature line!

It occured to me yesterday that the quotes and/or remarks that people place in their signatures are also a very important part of this site! How motivating. I decided to start myself a quick "cheat sheet" of the quotes that hit home to me. I placed it on my desktop. Now I can keep adding your quotes to my list and read it when I need some extra inspiration!

Thanks to all and Happy Saturday!

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful day here in NJ - I have to say I am sore, sore, sore. I did a workout Thursday night for the first time in YEARS and I am really feeling it!

I WI this morning and I'm also going to talk to my coach about switching to Ph 2 for a while.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good morning, I am up with the chickens this morning. I woke up at 5:30 and couldn't go back to sleep because the rice guns were going off guess I am not used of hearing that anymore. In case you are wondering what a rice gun is, my mom has 77 acres of farmland which we harvest rice on and when we plant the birds eat the rice so they have a sound like sounds like a gun that shoots every 15 mins or so to scare them off. It looks like its going to be a beautiful day out not a cloud in the sky!

Good morning!Going to be a beautiful day here in NE Montana. I am going to hit a few yard sales and see what treasures I can find! I am OP and loving it! I am not going to obsess about the scale. I am eating so few calories on this diet that the weight has to come off. I have been adding all my carbs up too from every bite I eat including my veggies and lettuce and I think it is driving me crazy. If it is on the protocol sheet , then it is legal to eat. My coach is driving me crazy when I show her my fitness pal journal and my carbs are over 30. I buy the lowest carb packets except for one day where I have restricted (weigh in day). Good grief, lettuce even has carbs and those 4 cups of veggies add up. DOES ANYONE ELSE COUNT THE CARBS IN THEIR VEGGIES AND LETTUCE?

Ok, got that off my chest. lol!

Have a great day!

I am like you if it is on the sheet then it is legal. I DO NOT count my carbs. I figure if it is on the sheet and they say we can have it but doesn't say we have to eat only certain ones except the occasional veggies 2times a week then we can eat whatever other veggies when we want. I don't even count the carbs in the gum I chew or the splenda I use and I have not since day one and look how much I have lost so far!!

Thanks Lisa for confirming my feelings. We have enough restrictions that I don't need to obsess over my vegetables. I logged in 1 1/2 cups of zuchinni and it was 11 carbs. My colleague's sister in another town has been doing IP at a big clinic and she doesn't count the carbs in her veggies, If it is on the list , she eats it. She does count her IP food carabs.

Have fun shopping!

Good morning!! Day 4 OP for me and I'm feeling really good Continuing to see a downward trend on the scale every morning which is really encouraging. I have to say I am loving this diet! It's odd for me to not be obsessing about food all day every day. In other diets I spend all day on the computer counting calories or points or what have you, this is just so easy!!

Drinking the RTD Mango this morning, wow is it good!! Putting together my order for next week. Excited to try some new things.

I am so glad you said that about the gum!! My coach (who lost over 50lbs on this diet) said she just chewed regular sugarfree gum but I had been nervous to try it because I couldn't find one that didn't say <1g carbs. I will have to go get some this afternoon I haven't been counting carbs in anything else though, just sticking to what's on the sheet.

I also like the weekend chat being Sat and Sun only. If it were really the weekend on Friday, that would be great. But, sadly, I am always working on Fridays...

I go to Dallas on Monday.

The clothes that I took to NYC (which I hadn't tried on in a few weeks) were WAY TOO BIG. I ended up having to ditch my suit jacket and wearing a sweater and a cardigan with my skirt suit.

So, this weekend I desperately need to shop for clothes. I also feel the need for an Ikea run.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I am off to swim lesson with kidlet. Back later... Take care everyone.

doxigirl - I love the quotes too…I'm trying to choose one for my siggy but very indecisive so far.

wuv - I was also up at 5:30 but not sure why. There have been times when I've felt that my body has actually required less sleep on IP. That is interesting about the rice and birds though, coming from a very agricultural state (corn, wheat, soybeans, etc though, no rice)

sandy - no I've never got that crazy about it haha but I think I will begin tracking much more meticulously (sp?) as I get into phases 3 and 4 as things are not as laid out for you.

pxlkitty - my small town self is envying your IKEA run

I have en extra IP shaker, do you think it would work to make dressing in? I also just realized it has been a long time since I have used a shaker to make anything. I always use a blender now with the puddings and have been having the cold drinks less and less, must be the time of year or something.

I actually bought some soup this week and a couple of omelettes for the cooler weather coming up. I almost always use my blender for my drinks and always add ice. I don't think I want to do that when it is cold outside. Might have to think of HOT drinks! lol!
