Uggh, I am so stuck here at 194!! The same thing happened when I was 214...there must be something about the '4's'. LOL. I think I need to up the exercise or something??

Bah! Sooo close, ladies! I've been in the 190s since June/July. Today I weighed in at 194.5 lbs. Here's to it being THIS month! I want to kick obesity to the curb, and need to weigh-in at 184 to officially do so.

Alright girls, lets do this!!!!!!!!

I am finnnnnnaaaallly down to 192.8. I really, really need to kick up the work out routine. I think my body has gotten used to what I've been doing for almost 5 months. Time to push myself more I guess.

What workout/food/diet programs are you guys following?
I am calorie counting and working out. I usually do level 2 of the 30 Day Shred and then 20 mins of treadmill for some extra cardio. Thinking it's time for Level 3 and maybe 30-40 mins of treadmill now..hmmm...

Im following Weight Watchers, got down to 191 this week (I could almost taste the 180's!) then TOM hit, up to 199!! Idk, how that happpened!! Im sick of the 190's, for some reason my body seems set on hanging on to the weight. UGH.

198.9 this morning. I don't usually weigh every morning but today is officially one year! I can't believe I get to post in the 190's thread so forgive me if I can't contain my excitement. I truly struggled to get out of the low 200's (about 10 weeks)

I have been in the 190's way to long now. I'm ready to push past this and move into the 180's. I had lost my motivation a few months back and fell off the wagon a little while. When I finally stepped back on the scale (the end of September) it was 197. That was enough of a jolt to get me back on the wagon again. I worked too hard and long to make it to onederland to just gain it back again. I can gain weight so fast- but lose it so slow!
Well I'm here with you- I have been bouncing from 195-194 for day's and I finally weighed 193.4 this morning <yay>
I will turn 50 in a few day's so I have a new strength and motivation to finally push on towards my weight goal http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-happy080.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php)

I'm still in the 190's. I have been in a stall for a little while now. I haven't weighed in about a week (it sorta depresses me) Last week I was 194.4
I hope to be in the 170's by the end of the year.

Hello everyone!
I weighed 195.8 this morning...Argggg:stress:
I have my diet under control- it's the same old problem with me
I'm not getting enough exercise. I'm kinda lazy about exercising.
I have my house up for sale while we are living in it- I am a homemaker so I spend all day keeping my house really clean because I get phone calls at a moments notice to show the house. So in my mind I'm thinking I'm getting enough movement from cleaning. But the scale is proving this is not the case. I eat 1300-1500 calories daily. Some day's 1700.
I have been in the 190's so long now.
I just need to make up my mind to start walking everyday. There is a nice park not far from my house- the perfect place to walk. I just need to motivate myself to do it!

I weighed 194.2 this morning. I've been doing a really good job at keeping my eating under control. I'm drinking more water. Sometimes when I think I am hungry I'm actually thirsty. After a glass of cold water it takes my mind off of eating more foods that run my calories up for the day.
Now if I could only get motivated to exercise. :kickcan:

I need to walk more, I can go to the gym couple times a week when the kids are in care but the other 4 days I find myself using them as an excuse as to why I don't exercise. Easy enough to put them in the stroller (1 and 3yr olds) and walk to the park! What do you say, up for it?

Good morning! I weighed 194.0 this am.
The temp here is going up to 65 degrees (under that is freezing to me- Southern gal) anyway, going for a good long walk today at the park.
I'm thinking about joining a curves or something so I can get some exercise this winter. I do not like cold weather at all. So at least it will be inside where it is warm.

Although it's pretty funny, I've been dreaming about getting INTO the 190s for so long, I can't even wrap my head around the idea of trying to get OUT of them! lol!

I just hit 199. I grew up obese so this is the first time I can remember weighing myself and seeing a one in front. Certainly it's the first time since late middle school and through high school. My next really big goal is being 190, losing that ten pounds means I'm "overweight" not "obese" and I've wanted that for quite a while.

April... You are close! I know what you are talking about- I had a 2 in front of my weight for a really long time. When I finally started to realize I was going to get into the 190's I just couldn't believe it. I weighed 207 for the looongest time. But one day I stood on the scale and it said 199.8 The joy I felt was so amazing. Congratulations- I know the hard work is soon to pay off :D

Kay I so know what you mean. I was thinking today that the last time I weighed my current weight I was 18. And scarily my goal weight I was last there when I was 14! If I could go back to my 14yr old self and say put down that chocolate bar I so would!!

194.2lb yay! So close to saying I've lost 100lbs. I think in metric, but think it is so cool that I will be able to say I've lost over 100lbs.

I weighed 192.0 this morning. I'm really happy I hope to be in the 180's soon. I really feel off the wagon last summer for a couple of months. I just wish instead of getting discouraged when I hit that stall and giving up- I had just changed it up some...maybe more water, more exercise or something else besides quitting. Anyway, I'm back on track now. I guess I hit a little detour on my journey- but I'm still heading towards my goal:D

So while I've left the 190s I'm not comfortable in them so I'll be sticking on this thread for another pound or two at least. But this means I am three pounds off losing 100lb.

I hope it sticks...but usually I go back and forth a little before it really sticks. I have been having a good whoosh the past couple of weeks. I'm going to enjoy it as long as it lasts.
If any of you enjoy apples (like I do) honey crisp apples are really plentiful right now and they are just so good. They have a taste like a cross between a granny smith and a red delicious. Delicious!

I was 195.8 this morning. It will be so great if the 190's fly by...I spent far too long in the 2-ohs and I'm thrilled to have whooshed a bit myself this week.

I feel like I might be in the 190s for awhile. I had two big whooshes the last few weeks that brought me down from 203 to 195.5. I just feel really bloated...official W/I Tuesday--I'll be okay with staying at 195.5 for a week as long as I stay in the 190s instead of back up to seeing a 2 in front of my weight!

Last night was the first time I kinda threw caution to the wind in almost 90 days. I worked out with my trainer this morning, am watching it carefully today and hoping the damage won't be too bad.

I'm very anxious to be out of the 190s as 185 is my half way mark. I'm really excited to be on the downside of the journey... the dénouement so to speak. :D

Oh and correction, SIZE 14 jeans (albeit loose cut, but still!!).

196.8... not much less than before I pigged out ;) Tomorrow is official weigh in day. I guess it was good to experience the pain of recovering from an oinkfest prior to the holidays. We have our own Thanksgiving and two dinners with friends this week so I'm holding my breath!

I am restarting today after falling off the wagon about a year ago. This time last year I weighed 176 and could fit into a size12 comfortably. Now I am 193.6 and uncomfortably in a tight 14. I am recommitting today, and starting my journey again. Wish me luck, and here's to not spening much time in this thread!

I gained 10.2 in 10 days, due to being sick and having to eat carbs to tolerate the meds. I've managed to drop 5.2 of that in my first 3 days back on plan, so I'm at 203.8 today and only 4 lbs left back to the 190s, so I'm staying put in this thread while I get rid of the rest of this fake weight gain and then I can keep making progress to get back out of the 190s in the other direction! lol!

anmitche: Good for you for getting back on track! I wish I had sooner; I'd lost about 50 lbs then regained that plus another 50 after I tragically lost a family member... getting back on plan and doing it is so important! You'll be back in no time!

AprilSnow: I have that same feeling about 'fake weight'. What do you think of the Dukan Diet?

I thought I'd be stuck there for a long time too, but it was just under a month, and really--that's quite fast. Sometimes it feels like we're stuck, but I know you just reached Onederland not too long ago and now you're already almost halfway through the 190s! :)

Jessy: What do you think is happening? That has to be so frustrating! You're doing really well though, regardless, though I do know how frustrating it is when the scale bobbles like that.

I'll still be in the obese category at 185, overweight for me I believe is 169. But hey I just want to get half way there now you know! It's only 12lbs away!! It seemed so far away when I started back in June. It really is amazing how bit by bit the pounds do come off and how much this really is a lifestyle change.

So today is my official weigh in day down to 197.2lbs, that's a 2.6lbs loss since entering ONEDERLAND last week :) :cp:

fyre, awesome job losing after Thanksgiving!! I won't know where I'm standing til Monday, but I did well on the calorie front.

jessy, it can get so frustrating, but you can do it!! And yes, definitely keep track of those inches like InsideMe said! That can really show you how you're doing when the scale is being stubborn.

193.4 this morning after day two of the food trifecta!! So excited! :) I actually modified my plan and I'm going to try to make it to the half way mark or 185 by Christmas Day. It's doable! Wow, I'd love to be ahead of the 50% mark coming into 2012.

A friend of mine wants me to do the MS Breakout to the Beach 150 cycle ride. Ahh!! I'm terrified but also kinda excited. I think having a training goal will really help with the exercise efforts. DH and I are looking at road bikes tomorrow. My sister has MS and we'd be riding in her name so it's personal for me as well.

Was excited for 191.4 this morning!! 6.4 lbs to half way, 4 lbs until I'm lighter than my husband (FINALLY!)... Looking forward to kicking the 190s and get to the 180s! :)

I took my road bike out for 13 miles on Tuesday and it felt amazing. I'm in love with this bike and so excited to have a great cardio outlet (and something to focus on that isn't scale related). :)

I'm in my busy season for work so I'm sorry not more personals etc but you folks keep me going every day, so thank you!

New to Onederland. Hey guys! Ive been having a bit of trouble getting out of the 190s. Ive been staying right at around 194-195 for the past few months, this is also the heaviest Ive ever been, but it looks like today I weighed in at 192, Im not too sure since I have a dial scale (which needs to be exchanged for a digital, I HATE It.) but hey, the dial moved for the first time in a while :)

Okay, I've just been slowing down since getting to Onderland a couple weeks ago. I've only lost an ounce since Saturday. 197.7 today and I'm frustrated. I put in some extra time in the gym today. I'm guessing it's because I've been steady losing weight since July and it's just a slow down.

I did look at my heavier photos and one I took just a couple days ago. So I'm calling it my progress image. I'm just going to work towards adding a third photo when I reach goal weight!

I had a NSV today: Ran my first 5k without stopping or walking part of it. I HATE running. This little victory feels pretty durn good. 34 minutes, give or take a couple of seconds...

These last couple of pounds in the 190's really need to get lost. Scram.

I was out with my family and it had been such a hectic long day that I had forgotten to pack my lunch and snacks with me for the day. I went to CiCi's pizza with them and was just going to get a salad, because I go out and eat with people and stay ON plan all the time. But, I was so hungry and my will power that is usually so easy for me to say no was just not there. I ate 6 pieces of pizza. SIX! I felt so guilty about it and still do. That was Wednesday and I just weighed today because I was scared to get back on the scale. But, I didn't gain! But, only lost 2 ounces. So I'm BACK ON PLAN 100% now. Ready to get these last 30 pounds gone.

Hi, everyone! I haven't posted on the site much over the last several months, but I'm looking to get back into it because it helps me. :)

After I had my gallbladder out last fall, I got to an all-time low of 198.6 because I couldn't eat, but after I healed, I went a little nuts and ate my way back up to 217.

In January, I joined a team at work to lose weight on the Live Healthy wellness challenge and have been doing super well since. 5.5 weeks in and I just hit onederland this morning - 199.5! Even though it's just by a hair, I'm excited because I worked hard for it this time and I don't want to go back into the 200's (Aside from that surgery dip, I've been over 200 pounds since 5th grade and I am 28 now!!)

I'm working towards 189.9 at this point, but that's mentally tough for me to even fathom, so I look forward to chatting with others dealing with the same numbers!! I hope you're all having a good week!!

Do you have trouble grasping the fact you're under 200 pounds and in smaller sizes?

I was shopping today, something I hadn't done for quite a while, and there was a top I really liked at Fashion Bug... They only had 2 - one was 0X and one was 3X. Without giving it much thought, I took the 3X to the dressing room because my mind said, "I may still be able to fit into something this big" instead of considering the 0X might fit. Ummm it was like a nightgown, lol. Defeated, I tried on the smaller one just to find it fit wonderfully! I felt so silly, but I really just can't accept that the weight loss is real and there are differences other than the numbers I see on the scale.

I still feel I'm in bigger sizes than others my height/weight, but it has to do with my apple shape and I have to be OK with how I'm built and know I'm losing sizes at my own individual rate.

I had a super good week!! I worked out 6 days and stuck to my diet... It paid off with a 2.6 pound loss.

I've mentioned that I am captain of a team participating in the Live Healthy Wellness Challenge - today is day 53 of 100 and I am only 3 pounds away from the 10% goal I set for myself. I'm excited to see just how far I can go before the challenge clock winds down.

Hi there, aka!! Congrats on the weight you've lost so far and I hope the 190's get easier for you!

I weighed in today and 192.0, so I am getting close!

Also, there are 40 day left in the wellness challenge, and I've already surpassed my goal by 2 pound. Another 10 pounds would be a 15% loss, so I can hope for that, but even if I miss it by a pound or 2, I will still be pretty happy with my progress.

This is me too. I refused to post there because I was determined to get under 200 soon. It didn't happen as quickly as I wanted, but after three days of seeing 198 on the scale, I think I'm solidly in the 190s. My very ambitious goal for April is to leave the 190s and land myself solidly in the 180s. Challenging, but not impossible.

I'm happy to join you guys here! Let's make it a short stay in this decade. :)

I am just starting on my journey, I have an 8 month old and really need to get this obesity under control. After baby #1 I lost it all, baby #2 kept it all on and of course baby #3 just added to it :o(

So really I know this is probably more user-error than anything. I know I'm eating within my point-allotment, but I haven't been eating as "lean" as I should probably.

I know! Today I was 191.8 again...as I was yesterday! I'm terrified because my BEST FRIEND from back home is coming to visit me for a week and I'm gonna have to "be good" the whole time. But if I can do that, I know I can do anything!

Wow, it seems to be working great for you!! Oh and I know what you mean when friends visit! I go to school in Vegas now so I always have friends over and with the buffets they want to go too, it's always annoying!! But you'll make it!! I weighed in at 192.0 today...:mad: I want out of the 190s SO BADLY.

I've been eating 1200 cals, exercising ~500cals and still stuck!! But I guess my body is still adapting?? But good luck!!! Keeping my fingers crossed that we get down to the 180s this month! :)

Woohoo! Yes, absolutely! I was at 192.2 today! I find it's best not to stress about that number so much, though...you know that with the reduced diet and working out more that something must be happening, so at least there's that!

Welcome, ak, you are more than welcome to post here. :) Of course we all hope not to stick around this thread too long!

As for myself, my weight's been bouncing all over the place this week. Yesterday I saw a new low of 192.6, then I was back up to 194 this morning. TOM is looming so I won't get out of the 190s this week, but I will definitely get there by the end of the month.

I went dress shopping yesterday, which was quite traumatic and made me more determined than ever to get this weight back off.

Thanks for the welcome, thistoo! Congrats to you on the new low, that's an inspiring number. If I may ask, what exercise/food plan are you following? As for me I am logging everything I eat on MyFitnessPal and will begin a workout regimen of 3 cardio yoga workouts per week & 3 walking workouts per week tomorrow. Hope to advance to step aerobics or Jillian Michaels workouts in the next 2 weeks or so, once I get my body more used to a regular routine of exercise.

DrivenByAmbition - YAY!! Must be such an amazing feeling to see a glimpse of the 180s. Seriously, a big congrats to you on that.

If I may ask, what exercise/food plan are you following?

The first time I lost a chunk of weight (95 pounds total) I calorie counted, mostly. This time around I'm following the Paleo Diet and the weight's coming off faster. I've always worked out, a mix of cardio and 3x a week strength training, but I'm working running back into my routine now. I hate running. HATE. But it's really the only thing that works for me, cardio-wise, so I'm doing it anyway.

Having said all that, I am fairly atypical when it comes to weight loss. I'm really carb sensitive and it's hard for me to lose consistently unless I'm really strict with keeping grains out of my diet. Your plan sounds very sound. Good luck!

191.2 again today, finally getting back to work after my friend visited! I got up to around 193-194 range for a few days there but I think if I had weighed myself BEFORE I ate today I would have been in the 190 arena and that would have been helpful to my psyche! lol

Thank you! Yes, I know, but today is my weigh-in day and I forgot this morning! Either yesterday or the day before it said 193.something so I'm happy to see the 191... to be honest, my heart skipped a beat because it stopped around 188 for a second, I was ready to squeal! I'm on Weight Watchers and getting back into actually recording what I'm eating (every few months I get bad and STOP COMPLETELY!) but I'm still aware of what I put in my mouth...Also, the weather is getting warmer again here in Colorado so I'll be hiking more often!

Of course I had a WONDERFULLLLLLL time with my best friend, it was really the best time ever. I'm so sad that she's goneeeeee

chel3fsea - That 188 sounds like such a tease! lol but know that you will be there very soon. :) Good luck with Weight Watchers! I know a few people who have done it and had great success; I am sure you will too. Have fun with the hiking! I am not a big hiker - always worried about getting too out of breath and left behind, I guess, but maybe once I get into better shape I'll find it more enjoyable. Have fun with that warmer weather, I'm jealous! It's rainy and cold here in Seattle this evening.

Bummer your friend has left! I know the sad feeling that comes after family/friend visits all too well. My whole family lives on the East Coast and it's always so sad to leave them, or have them leave me when they visit. But at least you had a wonderful time with her!

193.6 this morning but I haven't seen that low yet so afraid it's going to pop back up... I really can't imagine being 180 something! Too crazy! Have upped my exercise and am focused on that it's the last 1/4 of the way for me - hard when everyone comments on what I've lost so far and all I'm focused on is that last 44 lbs!!

OMG yay!! That's incredibly exciting, and like you said, you probably weigh even less than that considering it was after you ate. So proud of you! You'll have to leave this thread soon. ;)

On my scale at home this morning I weighed 192.2 & was super excited. However, I then had to go to the doctor & weighed 198.0 on their scale. However, I had JUST eaten a fairly large breakfast, I was wearing a heavy sweatshirt, jeans, and new workout sneakers, and my hair was wet from showering. Any chance that can make up the 5.8lb difference, or do you think my scale at home is just off? Really discouraged me to think I'm actually not as low as I thought I was, but I just keep telling myself that as long as the scale I have is going DOWN I am losing weight.

I've been bouncing between 190.5 and 188 on the gym scale..so thats with clothes on! I'm hoping when I weigh in tomorrow it settles on 189! :)

ak812 - I know! Today might be my last day in this thread... what to do! Well, I'll still come to check up on all of you ;) Also, I PERSONALLY think that all of those circumstances could lead to the extra 5+ pounds. I'd hate to weigh myself with any clothes on now! The one day I stepped on the scale with my bulky sweatshirt I thought I was going to die (until I realized, that is!) Regardless, though, it's not really about the number as much as it's about what you've lost and what you've gained out of that loss...so even in the off-chance that your scale is off at home, that won't take away everything you've done!!

I weighed in at 188.8 today! I think I might officially be out (or at least here's to hoping!) Thank you all for the support and I hope you make it out of this dastardly decade soon :D

It is nice to see lots of people having success. Ever since TOM started I've been way up (198 on Monday! I nearly cried.) But it's slowly going down again, and I'm hoping tomorrow morning I'll be back to 193. There's still a week of April left, so I will get as close as I can to my goal of seeing the 180s by May.

Generally my weight starts inching down toward the last couple days of TOM, then a day or two after it's finally over I see a drop of a pound or two. So far that has not happened this month! In fact, I'm up a pound this morning. 'Frustrated' doesn't really begin to describe it. There's not much I can do about it, though, other than sticking with my plan and carrying on.

We'll get to the 180s eventually! You're for sure going to beat me. :D Congratulations on the 191!

I'm still at 194 this morning, but my jeans are getting loose right out of the dryer, so this morning I tried on my smaller pair, just for kicks. Last time I tried them on (at the beginning of the month, I think?) I couldn't even pull them up, but today I got them on and zipped! They're pretty tight and I wouldn't wear them out yet, but it's nice to know I'm making progress somewhere when the scale's refusing to cooperate.

Congratulations to both of you for getting to 190! You'll break through that barrier in no time.

Yesterday I weighed in at 189.4!!! I didn't get much exercise in at all yesterday, though, even though I stuck to my calorie limit. I'm anticipating that my brief fling with 180s will be gone when I weigh in this morning. :( I know 1 day of not exercising doesn't affect all that much, but I always feel like if I'm off plan for even 1 day I'll be right back where I started. Illogical, but it's how I feel!

Hi everybody, I hit 199 on Apr. 28th and have stayed under 200 since then... today was 198.4 so I realized I had to leave my old decade thread and join this one:D
I think the hard thing about the 190's is being so close to the dreaded 2 still. The nice thing about it is, I finally feel like my hard work is paying off though. So, I will fight really hard to get as far away from that 2 as I can!

I never eat back exercise calories. Not that I am a shining example for anyone's weight loss success, considering the scale has continued to creep up for me lately, but I know if I ate back exercise calories I'd just gain. It works for some people, but as a general rule it just seems like sketchy science to me.

I think the hard thing about the 190's is being so close to the dreaded 2 still.

Yep. I was all the way down to 192, but I'm retaining water like CRAZY lately (I can tell it's water retention because a) I have been within my calorie range every day, and b) I am not peeing even half as much as I usually do, which is a LOT) and the scale's been back up to 195 for a couple days now. It's stressing me out how close I am to that 2 still, but there's nothing I can do except keep going and hope something gives soon.

well, TOM week, but I've been fighting like a crazy lady to stay in the One's and I've done it so far! counting those calories, getting activity even though I want to crawl in a ball, drinking water, saying no to sweet and salty.... definately a struggle but I will win! cuz I'm not gonna see a Two!

So frustrated with myself right now! I haven't been calorie counting for two weeks and my weight has shot up to 196 although I know I'm not eating that much more, i can feel that I have gained so weight and some is water as well. UGH Must get back on track this week!!!

:yay: I hit 195.4 today, right smack in the middle of the 90's now, :lol: this was a bad week for me. I had a bottomless pit day... I was SO hungry and then I was retaining water for a couple days. I don't know why, all I know is I was drinking a couple cups of water every hour and not having to use the restroom hardly at all for 2 days, then yesterday I couldn't stay out of the bathroom! And, the new low on the scale proved I let it go, :lol:
erh I hope ur not here too long either, :rofl:
hhm the good thing about water weight is that is will come off just as quickly as it came on if you just stay on plan and drink bunches of water for a few days!;)

I'm SO looking forward to the 80's! I had to break down and buy some new clothes because I'm solidly in a 16 now but didn't have any summer clothes in that size. Got a hair cut too, shorter than I've ever done before in my life, and I love it.

i'm spinning in a circle with 190' ...i lose and gain the same 8 pounds over and over again. i just weighed myself after vacay and instead of losing i gained 10 pounds!!! i'm so angry and frustrated and hoping that half of it is just water retention because i binged almost whole last week. whay can't i just stick with my plans??? why is life so unfair?!!!i'm seroiusly losing my mind...i spent last few years obsessing over food and WL ...why did i have to regain more than half of my weight back.....i'm sorry i just had o take this out of myself and rant.

I am (2) lbs away from being out of the 190s (after over a month of hanging out in them!) Here is hoping by next week I will be out! But who knows cause I have been lifting so the water weight is there.

@Miss: You will get out of them! I swear, it will happen. We have both been juggling the same lbs for a while . Did you go OP while on vacation? I am sure of that is water weight so don't beat yourself up too much. Just get back on teh horse!
