Down to 141.8 this morning - a new low for me. I'm staring to (again!) reevaluate my goal weight. I started with 150, then when I got there realized I wanted to lose more. I'm getting close to my second "final" goal of 140. . .and I think I still want to lose more. I'm officially at a "normal" weight, but I'm just not done. So, I'm working on picking a new goal weight. I know I could just keep losing without a goal in mind, but I like having something to work towards.

Down 1.1 this morning which brings my August loss to -5.9 lbs. Woo hoo! I've been in the 250's for 43 days and counting folks and I am BEYOND ready to get the hellz outta here! So, that's clearly my biggest goal in September.

Rennie -- LOL! That story about your daughter asking to borrow the mini-van was HILARIOUS! Kids will do ANYTHING to get out of the house, won't they? And I've been fat for SO long that 98% of clothes in my closet are my size...just a few items that are too small. Will be nice to pull those from the back to the front soon. And I do actually LOVE fresh clam chowder, I just don't like the clams...to rubbery.

Kwigg -- Looks like you faired pretty well for the month. I'm glad you've found something helpful in this thread like I have.

Puneri -- I'm not sure but I'm guessing you were happy with your WI? Congrats on being below your ticker weight!!

Mandy -- Have fun with your gym buddy today!

Diana -- YAY for staying within or below your maintenance range for another month! Woo hoo!

Kukkie -- Sorry about the crazy up this morning. Have a great time hanging with your hubby no matter what you end up doing.

Coondocks -- I like those numbers you're looking at girl! Glad to hear you're getting into the swing of things with school too!

Angie -- Good luck with the Doc today. I hope you do see that 199 even if it won't count yet. And I SO know what you mean about movie theater popcorn. I SWEAR they sprinkle it with heroin or something! My DH always gets the large so he can get a refill! A refill?!?! Seriously?!?! Yeesh! I just checked out lulemon's and wow! Those are some pricey workout clothes! Good thing they don't have my size!

Roxy -- Funny about the Sonic ad on the tickerfactory website. Oh the irony!

LGW -- Great job this month girly!

Vixsin -- Boo for TOM but nice job holding on to that overall loss for the month!

Jeri -- Congrats on the new low! Woo hoo! Just curious as to what's spurring on the desire for a lower weight. I know some folks are more comfortable being just a bit below their normal range and I completely get that. Just wondering what it for you. Thanks.

Rennie -- Great job in August! We are now halfway through and we are more than halfway to our goal -- we rock! Ooooh! We don't have far to go at all...one (well one each) good whoosh is all we need.

Roxy -- I did think about bringing some of my own...but I feel embarrassed about doing it with friends along. I'm sure they wouldn't really care anyway - maybe I will do that.

Jeri -- You're doing great, can't wait to see you reach this next milestone.

Jami -- Awesome job in August. I know the final number doesn't reflect your efforts, can't wait to see you whoosh into the 240's in September. I did go to the doc, but I didn't get my pre-visit to ONEderland -- their scale had me at 201.5 -- I should have skipped the darn tea before I left, and if only they would let me undress a little! I'm dying about the movie popcorn...heroin Oh yeah, that's the other reason I don't buy lululemon...I can't fit into anything there...lol.

Jami, for my height, I could go all the way down to something like 120 and still be in the normal BMI range. I'm still hanging on to a lot fat around my stomach, and I really want to eliminate some of it. I know I'll never look like I did before I had kids unless I pay for some expensive surgery, but I can get closer!

went to the gym today and it felt great! we walked to the gym, i did a 5 minute warm up on the elliptical (to test my ankle) and then did 30 mins on a stationary bike at level 4 of 10 difficulty and the thing didn't measure in MPH but it did tell me i was on speed 12, roughly 80RPM or some such. MFP says i burned almost 500 calories today... i think it might be off a bit, but whatevs. i got my exercise in, and my ankle isn't hurting too much.

lunch is pb and apple butter on whole wheat with raw celery and carrots and a string cheese. yeah probably a bit high on the processed stuff, but i was craving PBJ and the apple butter is only 30 cals per tbsp. (much less than typical jellies and jams which are 50-70 per teaspoon).

feelin great after my workout ladies, and i'm looking forward to tomorrow morning's effort! hopefully i won't be too sore. gonna start september off right, and try to shake off the fact that i'm gonna be posting a gain for august. okay, i may have gained 5-10lbs (still haven't checked) BUT that doesn't completely negate the fact that even with a 10 pound gain, i've still dropped more than 40 pounds. going backwards is not failing if you turn around and get back on the right track... giving up completely is the only way to fail!

well, my workout buddy didn't actually come with me today. she forgot about a paper she had to finish by 1pm today so she bailed. but my husband, wonderful man that he is, came with me! they have a tv with a satellite feed so he watched ESPN while i listened to my MP3 player and zoned out.

and i missed the comment earlier about being a lady of leisure... i wish i could be! i kinda like it. lol. but we need to keep me employed so we can keep health insurance.

I am in. Started this morning at 230. I ran 5k last night and did 45 minutes on eliptical at lunch. My goal for Sept. is 219 which will be 70 pounds lost for me. I was down to 221 but hit a platue and gained some back over the summer. Want to be 195 by Jan. 1. I am running a half marathon on January 6th.

Aug 1st: 251.8

21: 243.8
22: 242.8
23: 242.8
24: 243.8
25: 242.4
26: 246.0
30: 243.4
31: 242.8

Not quite back down to my low for the month (242.4), but close enough for me! I'm reporting a 9lb loss for August.

So I finally melted down this morning about 5:00. After not going to sleep until midnight and being up twice in those 5 hours (sick and teething kids), I just couldn't get up today... literally. It all caught up with me. My fantastic DH took the morning off and I got to sleep until 10:15. I feel so much better today than I have in months, I needed a little extra sleep. I also made it to the gym today for the first time this week!
I think that I've been exhausted physically for a good year now just from the lack of sleep, but now that my therapy is really taking off and I'm dealing with a lot of emotional baggage I am also emotionally exhausted at the end of the day. It's a good thing, but I'm going to have to figure out how to get more sleep. Being exhausted physically and emotionally is just too much for my poor body to take. I think I'm going to start heading for bed about 8:30, hopefully to be asleep by around 9 or so. That should help.

to everyone! I hope you all have a fantastic day!
