Does anyone know how to manually calculate points? It's something like calories/ 50 fiber x 12 Not sure - but saw it on this website at on time. Thanks.

The official one is:

([calories/50] + [fat grams/12] - [fiber grams <capped at 4 grams>/5] = points)

I use this one - it's easier for me to make the calculation in my head (at the grocery, etc.)

Calories times 2 divided by 100
Plus Fat grams times .1
Minus Fiber grams times .2

Example:

Calories = 135 fat = 3.5 fiber = 6

135 x 2 = 270/100 = 2.7
+ 3.5 x .1 + .35
- 4 (fiber cap) x .2 - .8

= 2.25 points

Here's another way to do the same thing:

Take calories, plus fat grams x4, subtract fiber grams x10, then divide that number by 50.

Keep in mind the fiber grams have a limit of 4.

So something with 200 calories, 5 grams of fat, and 3 grams of fiber would be 4 points:

200 + 20 - 30 = 190 190 divided by 50 is 3.8, rounded to 4.
