Default Plateau Busting Tips

I hope this works. I'm attaching a list I wrote up of "Plateau Busting Tips." These are things that I've seen suggested, or learned myself, to help bust through a plateau. There's so many of us going through plateaus lately that I thought it may help to print this out and have it on hand. I know how frustrating it can be, but if you can stick with the program through a plateau, you will be rewarded for it...eventually.

Thank you JenB for taking the time to list these tips. My lungs feel like they are drowning in water but I will keep chugging away.

My goal for water is 80oz at least a day. From someone who was lucky to get 4 let alone the 64 they want it is progress. I started high from day one because I knew I couldn't do it otherwise. Of course when I spoke with my chiropractor right after starting she said you know you are going to hate me put you should be drinking more. She asked my weight divided by two yuck! But I shoot for as much above 80 as possible. I went and bought 2 20oz bottles for work that I rotate through the day so the water is cold. Makes it so much easier to get in all that water. The water is pretty much all I drink though. For my HNS I have water for the powders but I drink the liquid ones straight. Don't want any more water that I can't count towards my goal than necessary .

LOL I know what you mean. It's pretty hard when you're not used to it. I have a 44 oz. cup on my desk and for me, it's two of those a day. The crazy thing is, on some days, I'll have both of those drunk before I leave work and I find myself wanting more. Just remember, the water helps flush the fat out of the system. That's exactly the incentive I needed to keep chugging.

No doubt. I think that is the only reason I'm able to do it. When I get super busy at work I forget to drink. The other night I didn't have but maybe 60 down when I realized it around 9 so I guzzled the remainder...bad I though because I was up all night in the potty. lol

Thanks for the tips Jen. Instead of letting me switch to the MetaBalance menu this week, I was put on a Plateau Buster. I sure hope it works. I've been going up & down for weeks now and it can get pretty discouraging.

Connie, the same thing happened to me. The Plateau Buster did the trick for me. Let us know how it goes.

I went up 2 last week and down 3.5 at WI yesterday!! I am soooo relieved. I hope I'm over that little "hump" for awhile.

I only did the Plateau Buster for 3 days, so I'm pretty happy. How long did you stay on it Jen? Just wondering if I should stay on for the weekend.
