If you lost NO lean mass at all, then at 178 lbs you would have 20% body fat.
You will lose some lean mass, especially as you drop weight, it will be easier for your body to carry you around and you will lose some lean mass there. Also from dieting you are bound to lose some lean mass. So once you get closer to the 180 range or so, you would need to redo a body fat test to see where you are at.
