Hi all, newbie here! I got a microdiscectomy surgery on my spine on May 9th this year, and had to spend 3 months pretty much doing nothing. I went from working out 5 times a week to not at all, and to make things worse, I was SOOO hungry! So I gained a bit of weight. I am able to start working out again, at a lesser pace, but now I need to diet, which I have never done before! Has anyone else with back problems had to lose weight? Any exercise/diet tips? I've never really watched what I ate, the exercise kind of took care of that, but I guess I have to start now! Excited I found this site to get good ideas and support
