My intro
I am a 36yo Mother of 5 kids who is sick and tired of constantly being tired.
I have tried numerous diets, and either loose the weight, and gain it all back (+ some) or just fail on the diet.
I have 2 daughters that are starting to follow in my footsteps, and I've noticed in the last year I have developed tons of health problems that were non-existant before. It is time to me to change. I am sick and tired of always being sick and tired. I want to be able to play with my kids, and not hold them back when we could be doing so much more.. because mommy may not fit on that ride. Or not flying because of asking for an extender.
I have been reading the IP threads at the boards here for over a week, since I heard about it from my daughter's friend who is having great success on the IP program. After a week of reading I was ready to take the plunge.
I contacted her coach, went to the class and had my consultation last night.
I started the Ideal Protein diet today, and so far so good... although I am a bit jittery, and have the start of a headache.
I want to loose over 100lbs, so it is going to be a long road ahead of me, but I am going to take it one day at a time.
