Default gums bleeding?

I am a regular flosser and brusher and my gums never bleed, regardless of where I am in my cycle. The past couple of days I've had some gum bleeding when I floss. Anyone else experience this as a side effect of doing IP? I can't imagine why, but thought I'd check.

That is vit C deficiency. Have vit C tablets and have 2 fruits per day.

I had this on day 3 & 4 of my program but has since gone away. I found it odd too and wasn't sure if it was due to program or not, but like I said, it went away.

Any chance you're pregnant? Some women's gums bleed when they are pregnant. That's how I knew I was pregnant with baby #2. Just a thought.

Thanks for the replies.

Totally not pregnant. Will check at my weigh-in today. I was a big fruit eater before starting the program, but I've only been on for 6 days. It's hard to believe I'd develop such a deficiency so quickly. Plus I've taken a pretty comprehensive muti/prenatal vitamin for years now and sometimes a supplemental C (like during heavy cold & flu season).

The human body is so interesting...
