Just wondering how everyone has been. Anything new/exciting? I'm starting to get the hang of this postop life.

I'm starting to get the hang of this postop life. jiffypop 08-09-2011, 12:20 PM drinking going ok? you're getting your protein in? when do you start adding foods in? Zeitgeist 08-09-2011, 12:38 PM I'm hopeful next week at my two week check-in that foods will be added. I've been able to get 60gm of protein a day, but am still working on getting in enough liquids. Yesterday was the first time I could get above 5cups. It is odd feeling full on 4 ounces. jiffypop 08-09-2011, 08:12 PM LOL!! yes, it certainly is - but hold onto it! RNY gives new meaning to the saying 'eyes bigger than your stomach!!!' I've had a few 'carby' days - not disastrous, but it's a bit weird. sounds like you're doing well - how are you feeling overall? have energy? not too much pain? sleeping well? missangelaks 08-10-2011, 02:29 AM yes, it sounds like you are doing very well! Glad to hear it! keep up the great work and your great attitude! Angela  Zeitgeist 08-11-2011, 05:41 PM Thanks for the support! When I read the experiences of others, I feel really lucky. I haven't had much pain, nor much pouch rejection. It is weird feeling full on a few ounces, so even though my food choices are really limited, I'm trying to enjoy these weeks of little hunger. I need a hobby though. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
