Just wondering how everyone has been. Anything new/exciting? I'm starting to get the hang of this postop life.

I'm hopeful next week at my two week check-in that foods will be added. I've been able to get 60gm of protein a day, but am still working on getting in enough liquids. Yesterday was the first time I could get above 5cups. It is odd feeling full on 4 ounces.

LOL!! yes, it certainly is - but hold onto it! RNY gives new meaning to the saying 'eyes bigger than your stomach!!!'

I've had a few 'carby' days - not disastrous, but it's a bit weird.

sounds like you're doing well - how are you feeling overall? have energy? not too much pain? sleeping well?

Thanks for the support! When I read the experiences of others, I feel really lucky. I haven't had much pain, nor much pouch rejection. It is weird feeling full on a few ounces, so even though my food choices are really limited, I'm trying to enjoy these weeks of little hunger.

I need a hobby though.
