I'm an eternal nail bitter. I bit my nail since I'm like 4, and I'm now 18.
But I don't only bit my nail, but like EVERTHING around it.
It's profoundly disgusting, ugly and not feminine!

I partially stopped since like 2 weeks, but I can't stop munching in the white
part, munching my skin, etc. I have like, 1 mm of white nail.
I bought myself a nail file, nail whitener, and transparent nail polish that is supposed to make your nails grow faster.

I stopped a lot of time and I always relapse.

I have small hand and thin fingers, I want freaking beautiful nails!


Anyone else have this problem?

My daughter was a nail biter and drug stores sell something called: Bitter Nails. You put it on like nailpolish, but it tastes horrible.

I was a nail biter most of my life, terrible looking hands. I started getting acrylic nails, believe me , you cannot bite them. I wore them quite awhile and eventually broke the habit of nail biting. I now have natural nails.

My mother bit her nails until she was in her 30s and decided it didn't look professional for her work environment. My grandmother did and does bite her nails.

I bit my nails until I was about 21. When I met my husband for the first time we went out to play pool. Obviously your hands are there kinda front and center. I just made an off the cuff remark about how I should stop cause it looks bad. So I did (mostly). My nails are always pretty thin and weak so they'll snag at the WORST times and I never have clippers or a file so it ends up ripped off. But I don't really chew them anymore.

No words of wisdom but it is possible.
