General Diet Plans and Questions - Hey Everybody! Trying to lose 30 Lbs... Help?

Hey Everybody!
I'm trying to lose 30 lbs, but don't really know where to start... Anyone have any suggestions?

My Stats: "Height: 5'9" Weight: 245 Goal: Lose 30 lbs "
I exercise about 3 times a week for 45 min each time.

Eating less and exercising more is always a good start. Go to the gym a few times a week. Cut back your portions and choose healthier options.

I personally like calorie counting. It keeps me accountable for how much I'm eating, and there's some flexibility for the occasional "bad" food.

I suggest looking around the forums at various types of diets, asking questions, and seeing what might work for you.
