Hi I started in February and started at 241, I plan on losing 100 before I start phasing out. I am 3/4 the way to my goal, on the last 25 lbs. Good luck and this program is so amazing can't say enough about it. Easy but strict, follow the rules and you will do great. Welcome.

I've lost 104 of 200 that I had to lose... It's daunting but I just kind of figure this (the eating and exercise) is for the rest of my life...

I want to lose 135lbs and I have 60lbs gone as of yesterday. I know once i get to my goal I will want to go smaller but when I started 135lbs to lose sounded a lot better than 200lbs which is probably what I will end up losing. I started April 27th. Follow the program to a "T" and you will do fine. Drink lots of water and make sure you eat your veggies :)

Hi, this is my first week on IP and i have 145lbs to lose and was wondering if there are others that have 100+lbs to lose?

I weighed about the same as you when I started....2.5 months later and I'm down 38 lbs and over 19 inches! Its DEFINITELY worth it! Nothing has worked for me for YEARS to lose weight, until this

Hi, this is my first week on IP and i have 145lbs to lose and was wondering if there are others that have 100+lbs to lose?

I started IP on April 1. While I really had 120lbs to lose I set the goal for 75lbs.

I didn't even think about the larger goal of 75lbs, I just focused on losing some weight every week.

I have lost 90% of that goal and now I want to go for the entire 120lbs I need to lose.

You can do it!

You are doing awsome and its so exciting to hear that its working for you when nothing else has worked as i'm in the same boat....weight watcher has always worked for me in the past but nothing in the past 3 years doesn't matter how hard I work at it. So i'm so excited to see good results with IP

Congratulations on being so close to your first goal and i'm sure the entire goal doesn't seem so out of reach anymore.

I want to lose about 190, though I don't want to fixate on the pounds lost but more on the inches lost. I feel the scale has been part of my failure...really trying to only weigh once a week. Will be a challenge for me.

Welcome blu----- Where in AL are ya? Put that scale in the trunk of your car so you don't see it or have someone hide it from you. The scale puts too much stress on the fluctuations that happen from day to day with our bodies. Weigh yourself ONLY on WI days so that way you are surprised when you see the numbers. Just stick to the program 100% and you are going to lose weight and inches!

Hello All
Just joined this Forum after I read all the great stories and tips. I started my Ideal Protein Plan at 365 pounds. I have so far lost 52 pounds and have about 93 to go. I am loving the diet so far, the only friend I have on the diet lives far away, we talk lots and try to keep each other encouraged but he is almost done. I am looking forwards to hearing your stories and getting to know all of you.

My coach was asking me what the plan was the other day regarding my weight loss. She wanted to know if I was going to stay on program and lose all the weight at once or phase out at some point and maintain for a while and give my body a break. I told her I'd give it some thought and get back to her.

What are you all doing?

naynajay0526
08-13-2011, 09:29 AM
I'm losing it all at once, no breaks and no procrastination. I think if i stopped in the middle i'd just gain it back. Once I get to my goal I'll feel too accomplished and confident and never want to go back, plus I'm impatient and wouldn't want to wait any longer than I have to!

I am going for the gusto....all or nothing!....I know it will slow down eventually but its too easy not to just do it all at once. I don't find the program difficult so I am sticking to it til the end which I am hoping will be ummmm Jan but if it takes longer it takes longer, as long as I am losing it doesn't matter how long it takes me :)

I would suggest it HIGHLY! you don't need the stress of those numbers everyday. I am sure you have enough stress in your life without that. I look to my WI days as a surprise to see what I have done. I can feel the changes in my body but never know the exact amount until I go WI then it sets my day off in a good way :)

Wuv2bloved, that's amazing how well you are doing :) It inspires me to go on with my weight battle.

I have 100-110 pounds to lose, I lost 30 so far, still a long way to go but when I read about other people having a big amount of weight and they did it, it encourages me always.

Thank you.

See to the right of the original post at the bottom there is a "quote" box click that to respond to that post then there is another box with an "+", click that box if you want to respond to a few post, just hit that "+" to each post you want to reply too then on the left side of the page it says reply to post hit that and all of the post you want quoted are in your box. Simply hit the return button to put spaces between the post to respond!
