Default Heat Wave

Who else is suffering from the Summer of 20011 Heat Wave? And are you doing most of your workouts indoors?

I'm in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and we sure are! Right now it's 27C, but with the humidity it feels like 38C. Wicked hot! Also under a severe thunderstorm watch! I don't normally workout outside, but I've been lucky enough only to be forced outside by my trainer a few times, and on cool(er) days.

It has been upper 90's and low 100's for weeks here... and the heat index is even higher. Plus it's SOOOO Humid here!
So I can def. say that I've been working out more inside...

It's been above 100 here for the last month or so. Miserable! Needless to say I've been working out at the gym. Haven't ran outdoors in quite some time.

It was 109 today in Kansas without the heat index! I've definitely been working out inside.

I wish I could escape this heat, ugh! Been in the 100's for most of the last 2 1/2 months, supposed to be 110 here (KS) tomorrow. Mostly I have been doing dvds inside but 4 days last week I did brave the heat in the evening for a walk...not so bad starting out but after 20 mns it is terrible!

It's pretty bad here in IL too, heat indexes at 110 and above. I don't have air conditioning at my house so I've not been working out period lately, lest I suffer from heat stroke or something. When it gets super hot and humid we head to my mom's house where there's ac, cuz with three little kids (one being less than 4 months old) the heat is no joke.
