No matter what is happening in your life. . . lots of good things or not so good things . . . there are always things for which you can be grateful. Knowing this helps put life into perspective.

Please feel free to join in. It feels good!

-My bf, cause even though he's miles away his text hugs still make me feel like it'll be okay.

I am so greatful today as i got a trip to chrleston. My hubby has some iffice work and he brought me along.
I am also greatful as i was paying attention to his driving, and just when he was changing lane i saw a car parallel to us which he did not see because of blind spot and i shouted. Just a minute prior to that, i completed my daily sudoku.

What a nice thread!

Today I am grateful for my amazing boyfriend. He makes me exercise, encourages healthy eating, made a huge batch of roasted red pepper hummus from scratch (so I can eat it!) last night, cleaned the kitchen up, and when I got up this morning, about 10 minutes after he left for work, I found all the stuff to make my breakfast laid out for me.

And, as I am every day, I'm grateful for my legs that carry me where I want to go and are about to take me on a 3.5 mile training walk in the glorious sunshine!

I have not posted in awhile. I have been having difficulty dealing with my father's cancer and have been eating way too much. I need to start looking for all the many things in life that I should be grateful for. So today, I am grateful:

*That I have had my parents for so long. I know many people who lost their parents when they were much younger.
* I have a great boss who gives me the flexibility that I need.
* My grandchildren who always bring a smile to my face
* A loving church family
* RL friends
* 3FC and my friends here
* The knowledge that I can get back on track and lose weight again.

Beverly,
Thank you! I am so relieved that the chemo is not making him as sick as I anticipated. I am also grateful for the time we have spent together talking. Some of the conversations were very difficult. He is setting his house in order and wants to talk about what will happen after he is gone. However, he also wants to reminisce and I have loved hearing his stories. He told me how proud he is of my weight loss and encourages me to keep going with it. He is concerned about my health. This just gives me another reason to make the time and effort that I need to get back in control.
