Hello there maintainers! I'm so happy to finally join you all! Really! I've waited for a looong time to be able to say I'm at goal. However, I'm still trying to lose 5 more vanity lbs. Part of it is that I still don't fit into all of the clothes in my closet. Part of it is that I'd like to have a little cushion so that if I gain a little, I'm still feeling comfortable with my body. And, part of it is that I'm afraid of not having the challenge. I realize that I can always set up non-weight related challenges, but there are still the other reasons, so it seems to make sense.
So calories. For a while now, I've been having under 1200, but over the last week, I've been having 1300-1400 and it has been ok, shockingly.
This is the part that I'm most concerned about. I want to make sure that these extra few hundred calories aren't going to make me gain weight over time, but I think that if I keep up with my workouts, it should be ok. Right now I've got chicken pox, so workouts are a bit unrealistic, but I'm having a mild case so I hope to be over it very soon so that I can go back to the gym and kick my own butt!
I don't know why I'm saying all this....I'm just so excited to be here and I hope to stay here for the long haul (I'm a food addict, trying to stay in control of my addiction).
