Default Calories burned in a day's time

Does anyone know what the calories burned are for an adult man and woman for an entire day if they just basically sat around and did nothing? I guess it depends on starting weight, doesn't it? I'm trying to crunch some numbers and the information would be helpful. Thanks.

Just play around with this, plug in different numbers to find what you're looking for:

It depends on your body fat percentage. I know that mine is 1000 calories a day.

Very cool site. Thanks. I was amazed that maintenance for me is 2500 calories. I was astounded at the number, since I'm used to eating only 1600 calories for so long.

That site is way off for me. If I ate according to what that site said at a sedetary level, I would gain. Use numbers as a benchmark and then you have to experiment to see what works.
