I wrote down everything that I am grateful for today and discovered that oddly enough, I didn't include food other than to note that it is such a blessing to be in a spot in the world where you can go and get any fruit, veggie, meat, spice, beverage, etc. almost anywhere, anytime.

Food isn't any solution, isn't any crime, isn't any thing more than what becomes part of our body and builds our cells. Somehow I've used it to crawl inside, to escape living instead of really living. It's not been my friend, it's been a barrier to life. Instead of giving life, and nurturing my life.

I am so ready to commit to being healthy with food. It's a matter of respect.

Good thoughts. There is much to be grateful for, especially those who labor so our food is grown, produced, transported, and marketed. We are indeed fortunate to live in a land of plenty. Now if we can just stay committed to not taking advantage of our good fortune!

I too have been thinking of all the blessings God has bestowed upon my life. As far as food goes I am blessed to have so many healthy choices and blessed to be educated enough to make good choices!!
