I consider 5'8" and above... but it also depends on the individual I think... an individual that is 5'7" can seem taller than someone who is 5'8"...

But... really? no clue... If someone who is 5'0" says they're tall... why not?

I always think 5'8" and taller. I'm 5'9", and out here in California, I always get the "you're so tall!" comments.

To me tall is 5'7 and up. 5'4-5'6 would be average, and 5'3 and lower is short. That's just my opinion of course! I'm a shortie

Models are 5'8"+ however, they are also 100 lbs so I don't know if that standard really applies.
I think 5'7" is on the taller side but it also depends upon how thin you are. In college there was this girl who was about an inch and a half shorter than me and people would always talk about how tall she was...I think it was her long slender legs. Dang her!

I'm 5'3". Anyone over 5'7" seems tall to me. Where are all you tall people when I'm at the store? I've had to leave the store without things because sometimes it's just too much trouble.

I once asked an older lady to reach a box of cereal for me. She was so sweet, lol, she said "here, honey, take two." As if that would make up for me being too short to get them myself.

In Asia I consider anyone as tall as me to be "tall." I'm usually one of the tallest females around!

Sadly I'll go back to being average in the U.S. I consider the "tall" threshold taller than 5'6 but it depends on build, wider people don't look as tall.
