Room for one more??? After spending MONTHS in the 220s I'm finally able to say that I'm solidly in the 2teens. I soooooo don't want to spend as long here! :D Ready to move on through and looking forward to a motivated summer!

I am just like you all. I just want the #1 to be my first number in my weight. I don't want to ever be 2 hundred nothing again! It has been a long time for me. I will feel more like a normal womenin the 1's . Does anybody agree with me? I don't like being a women and not being One hundred and SOMETHING ! I hope we all get there. I am really tired of the teens. I have been on a stand still for about 4 or 5 months. I had some foot injury this was part of it and the other part was I ate to much. I am admitting my guilt. No , I am not perfect but I have to do better if I want to be in one hundred's. I would feel more like I was at a normal body weight. Most skinny girls would still call me a fat girl but I would not care. I want this for me me me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^^ I feel you, Dumplin! I'm finally reaching a point where I feel "normal". I'm still fat-normal, but I'm no longer crazy-fat!! :D My minimum goal is under 200. I'm going for more than that, but absolutely won't stand for any less than that!! We'll make it by the end of summer!

Scale finally moved a little for me.. like ounces but it moved!
I am giving it my all. I know now i wont see onderland before vacation! argh but i started so late.. IM just doing 2 do my best to get as close as i can!
I have a week and 2 days to lose about 10 pounds LOL i know impossible.. but I will keep trying!

I did a cheeky weigh (offcial wi is saturdays) and it was up to 206 :( BUT...these are not my usual scales..I have my own set of digital scales that I have been using (and i will use again on sat), these were really old analog ones that are as old as me...so... I am hoping they are wrong, though with my lack of exercise and naughty calories last few days.. i have a dreadful feeling they are not so wrong after all..any way chin up... just need a bit of :dust: and i'll be back on track xxx

I just returned from a camping vacation. Although I tried to be vigilant, it just wasn't that easy to eat healthy when you're cooking over a fire and eating at odd times. It was balanced by hiking over 20 miles in 3 days - most of those miles were up and down trails. So I nervously stepped on the scale this morning and saw 200.0 - sooooo close!

I did my official WI today and *drum roll please*.... EXACTLY THE SAME!! bit annoyed BUUUUTTTT.. bit of a big NSV today... i can wear my great grandmothers beautiful ring again :D !!! So happy, i havent been able to get it past my knuckle for a few months but its weird the difference 9lb makes and i spose less salt and stuff making me less puffy!..still very happy despite the non moevement of my scales, which I was sort of expecting since I haven't done much in the way of exercise this week lol but anyway..back on it! 5 lb to go til ONEderland..

Hi ladies! Clocked in a 214.5lb this morning. Getting close, but it still doesn't really feel like it! The last time I weighed less that 200 was freshman year of college! I still can't really grasp that my weight is MUCH closer to 199 than to 299! Have a great week!

I have really not been doing my best and need to focus on what I am doing alot more ! It is better for me to stay on plan than to try to get back on plan . Starting Monday I am going to go back to my old routine the one were I was losing weight. Once you do it you know it! I just have get back on the successful plan that worked for me!!!!!!!!!:dust:

I just recently got to Onderland myself and have been reading all your posts and want to say "keep up the good work" to all of you! This is a fact - once you hit 199, you feel a whole new sense of determination and staying on plan seemed to be easier for a while. Then, for me, 191 meant "no longer obese - just overweight" so there was going to be no way I was messing up those few more pounds. I hope you all make it out of the 200's soon and feel that great sense of accomplishment! Good Luck.

I worked it out and i still have about 50lbs to go until i am classed as 'overweight'!! THat seems like so much!! But oh well, you know i just have to do what I've already done 5 more times to get there. I can do that right?! I am going to try Zumba! Anyone had any luck with that? I was looking through the DVD i got and my don't they all look unbelievably happy and so much energy! Mind you if i could move like that and had that girls abs, i would probably be smiling too!!

I think I am officially in my first plateau. :( 215 AGAIN today! I swear, I am only eating maybe 1100 cals a day, plus everyday I either do the 30 Day Shred (level 2), 6 week abs, or 2 miles walking/jogging on the treadmill. I have no idea why I'm stalling, but I'm just gonna stick with it I guess....sigh...

Yeah!! Stepped on the scale today and it was at 205.4!!! That's down 4 pounds just since Sunday, hello Whoosh!! The crazy thing is that I also weighed my 11-week old, who has been eating nonstop since yesterday morning and he's almost 19 pounds! I weighed us 3 times and it was all within .2pounds each time. I'm stunned, he's my baby linebacker!! He's also really tall, but still, damn!!

Zumba is fun, but I am soooo unco there is no way I would do it in public -LOL- They do it in three steps, I can do the first two but then they "take it to tempo" and I lose it.

201.8lbs today. So close I can almost taste it. But I'm sick and have no energy so it won't be this week. But still, I'm just happy that I'm not gaining!

Zumba was fun.. i was able to keep up for the warmup.i was like yeah check me out, thinking i was probably going to be amazing at it and then......i was just jumping around like a maniac and at one point my feet got tangled and i flew onto the floor! But I will have a go again.... I can feel it was a good workout and could see it in my bright red face :P
Everyone is doing so well...i am a bit scared to get on the scales at the moment cause of last weeks non movement, but hopefully as i have been wokring out everyday and eating better then it might just budge xx

I just WI this morning at 219, yay! Now to tackle the teens. You ladies are sooo close, I'm envious, but I'll be at the cusp (sp?) of seeing that magical #1 very soon.

Well, chicks, I am thrilled to report that I FINALLY hit 199 today. I weighed in at that weight after I got up this morning and just weighed myself again and yes, it's real! I am so excited - this is the lowest weight I have been since my senior year of high school!!

Onward and upward and see all you ladies soon in the 190's thread!

I have never tried Jillian's Ripped in 30, but I am on Level 2 of her 30 Day Shred and alternate it with her 6 pack in 6 weeks part 1 and loooooooove them! So, I bet the Ripped in 30 is just as good! I would love to have her DVD collection! How do you like the Yoga Meltdown? I'd like to start incorporating Yoga somewhere in my routine too...

So, I'm still at 214, but this am it was 214.0 , so .2 lbs down, LOL. I'll take what I can get, at least it's not the same anymore! Hoping tomorrow is 213!!

203 today...1lb down! Bit dissapointed as this is over two weeks, but i gues TOM only just went lol so you never know..i was hoping to get to ONEderland by by birthday on thursday, but maybe that wont happen.. im gonna work out and stay OP just incase :P

I have been pretty good with eating (even tho TOM normally makes me want to stuff my face lol) had a big family get together meal full of oily and fattening foods, roasted veg and potatoes in loads of oil and red meat (i have been trying to avoid it cause it doesnt sit well with me lol). i filled up on non roasted veg - boiled carrots, boiled potatoes, cabbage etc.. felt so much better after and proud of myself, normally i would eat this til i was sick lol anyway..now im rambling on...

well 10lbs lost in a month is good... i'd like to keep up this rate of weight loss please lol..

I've been under 210 for more then 7 weeks now, I wasn't working out at all but my diet was sort of ok, most days. I saw a 200.0 on my scale just before my last TOM, then I gained 6 lbs and I'm still working to get rid of those!
I'm back on track now, yesterday was my 5th day of 1h+ daily work outs. It's showing on the scale and my muscles are very sore. I'm thinking I'll just rest today.
I'd like to be in onederland in 10 days, it's so freaking close!

199.8 this morning!!! I could hardly believe my eyes. I asked dh to weigh himself, then I got on again, moved it to 4 different places on the floor, and all showed 199.8 :carrot: I'm not going to leave the thread until I get to 199.0, but it sure feels great to see a ONE before my weight instead of a two. WOOT!!

I am a little nervous to post here. Weighed in at 218 this morning... I am not convinced that I am out of the 220's yet, but am gonna do everything I can to keep things moving in the right direction.

I even walked 5k last night to balance out the Indian food I indulged in for dinner. My legs feel like jello today, but so far the scale is holding steady!!

Dropped down to 212 this weekend!!! It was a big 6lb week for me! Crazy!! I've not really wrapped my mind around how close I am to 199 yet... sorta freaks me out. I think I was a freshman in college when I hit 200 (and I never looked back! :o). That was, oh... 15 years ago!

I hope no one minds if I just jump aboard this thread :) I hit my highest weight a month ago at 212.4 pounds and decided not only for cosmetic reasons it was time to do something about it. I'm currently holding between 204 and 200. I am on day 2 of my 17 day diet (a book i picked up from walmart) and just ended up with a horrible case of bronchitis. Any advice anyone can give for staying motivated while being sick?

Was very pleased to see the scale drop today - half my way to onderland and my mini-goal. I'm sure that a lot of the loss is the water/food mass that comes with starting a diet, but it is still inspiring to see on the ticker. Thought my goal was a bit ambitious, but pretty sure I can make it if I try now.

Weigh in today was nice...down 1.5 lbs. I am now at 211.6. After noticing I have lost 25 lbs since the beginning of the year, and seeing others success stories....I moved my Goal to 137 for a 100 lb weight loss goal. I figured if I could get through the first 25 lbs, plus planning for my wedding, I could at least get to the weight I really want (instead of settling for 165). :D
Still looking forward to ONEDERLAND!!!
For anyone needing the extra encouragement...go look at some of the success stories with pics! Geez those ppl look amazing!!!

I was talking to my mother and she realized my scale was off by 2 pounds. I'm actually 202. not 204 this morning. Which means when I hit 200 I had actually hit 198 unknowingly entering into onederland :/

I'm slowly working my way back down again... My son has been away in camp for 6 weeks, I was upset when he left for like a week, now that I've gotten used to it, he's coming home on Sunday.

The past 2 days have been easier OP, it kinda scares me, like hunger (or anything else that bothers me) is hanging out waiting to surprise me. Ok, even I think that sounds crazy, lol.

A lot of you are well on your way. I see a lot of individuals remember ONEderland very clearly :) The last time I was there was in 2007 - 169lb (from 226).

My problem (and this is probably true for you as well) is that as your weight SLOWLY starts to increase you become comfortable with each new number. For example, when I was 169, 172 wasn't so bad, I didn't have to buy new clothes. When I was 172 for a while, 175 wasn't so bad...then 177....180...etc...etc...then you stop getting on the scale...and then 234...WOW

Also, when you have a goal weight in mind, sometimes you don't realize how much you've actually lost when you have not yet met that goal.

This time around, I am excited! Although, I am 216, this is a HUGE drop from 238 that I am claiming! Also, for every 5lbs I lose I am vowing to never be comfortable at that weight again! Right now, I plan to NEVER see 220 again :-)

Exercise, eating healthy...we all know it works...but you have to change the way you think as well...

LGW I totally hear you! The last time I was in onderland was way back in 1993. I was 165. You do get comfy in your present status, even now, at 210 I feel great when in 2009 I was 247...and a size 14/16 isn't so bad right? LOL Keep reminding ourselves that yes our current weight is great but it's not my goal!!!! If I look and feel this great now imagine what we will feel and look like at goal right??

So I'm 210 this am.....11 pounds to say goodbye to the 200's FOREVERRRR!!! So done with the 200's feels like I've been here forever!

Ughhhhh so I bought a new scale because mine was ancient (not even digital) and well.....my weight went from 206 to 211.8! My scale was about 6 pounds off :( I made adjustments to my ticker, I'm thinking I started higher than I first thought and the amount of weight lost is the same but I'm a little frustrated cause now I'm an additional 5.8lbs away from onederland! I'm going to work harder now! I so want OUT!!!!!!!!!! Hope everyone else is doing well!

I am 219.2! So happy to be here! Jan 2011 I weighed in at 255, my first goal was to see the 2teens, well I didn't stay on plan, then on July 1st, I decided to give myself the best birthday gift ever, my health! I weighed in at 244.4, managed to keep off 10 lbs, that was great! ;) In a month and a half, I have been able to lose 25.2 lbs. I feel great!

Jamber1234, you are doing great, keep pushing forward, it will come off eventually, it has no other place to go. ;) To answer your question, I have been working out 6 days a week, alternating 3 days strength/3 days cardio. I just signed up for a 5k. In 5 weeks! I started training yesterday, did power walk/run intervals 60/90 second splits, for 1.5 miles. I will do that 3 - 4 days a week, added onto my reg 6 day a week schedule.

Jamber1234, I quit watching tv. That gives me a lot of extra time. My first 30 days I worked out for 30 - 35 mins a day, Day 31 until now my workouts are 1 hour. The mornings I run, I do my reg workout routine in the evening before dinner. I honestly don't miss the tv. I was a couch potato, watched 2 - 3 hours every night. Not any more. Now I read. There are shows, I love. I just dvr them, and that is my treat on the weekend. After I meal shop/plan/prep for the following week. Planning is KEY! ;)

Peekaboo- I was stuck at 212 before I found this forum for quite some time. It happens to all of us. Just keep pushing and after your plateau then you will get a big whoosh and see an incredible loss :) Happened for me. Then I got all high and mighty and thought I didn't need to diet anymore but I gained it back and had to start over. Anyways, before I babble too much...Just stick to your plan and don't let your emotions get in the way of being who you want to be.

Hi all!!!! I just got into the 2-teens this morning (218) so I thought I'd join this thread!

My birthday is next week and I am currently calorie cycling (right up until it stops working haha). I've intentionally given myself the highest calories limits on weekends, so I'll be celebrating (in moderation) Saturday, and back to lower calories during the week. Some friends at work have offered to take me to lunch which I scheduled for one of my mid-calorie days.

It will take amazing amounts of will power to not use "well, it is my birthday after all..." as an excuse!

I use to have that problem, get comfortable, and stop my workouts/healthier eating, but it all leads back to where I started. I end up gaining all of my weight, plus a few more pounds. I weighed in today at 216.8, I feel great! Last week, I made one of my goals, I fit into my 14's. Amazing feeling! :)

Angie, Jamber1234, and Matolmama I know you will all be in onderland before you know it!!!!

I had a great weekend (not weight wise, lol). I went to the state fair and walked around for 5 hours in 98 degree weather. I drank 3 liters of water during that time, not to mention what I drank before and after!

This morning I showed a 4lb gain from Friday's weight, but I'm not fretting over it, I know it's just water and will flush out of my system in due time. Hopefully, by my official weigh in day (Thursday) I'll be right back down to where I was, if not less!

Maybe don't take that number on the scale as the truth until a certain day since you weigh everyday. I weigh everyday too but I shrug off those #'s until the end of the week (Friday) I've noticed things shift and move and always weigh youself at the same time every day. Mine is as soon as I wake up go to the bathroom and then weigh. It's always pretty much down every time or the same. You do gain throughout the day, so I've heard first thing in the morning is your true weight

Jamber -- I've been bouncing a bit too the last few days. Could it be TOM? I'm back at 201.6 for the third time...every other day I'm up and down. We have to be patient; I found myself going to extremes this week...eating way too low calorie and not allowing myself snacks when I really wanted them and could afford them...it was making me a bit stressed and obsessive. I'm trying to breathe and be a little more moderate and patient -- it's got to come if we stick to a reasonable plan, right?

By the way, what kind of plan are you following?

Ditto...my official WI day is Thursday, but I weigh every day. None of them really matter until Thursday...which I ask myself, why do it then? :dizzy: but I'll be danged if I can't do without it haha!

Tomorrow is my official weigh in day, but today was the end of the August Challenge - Lose 10 lbs by Sept 1st. I didn't think I would make it, but so far this week I have lost 3 lbs! Which made my total loss for August 10.4 lbs. I am on cloud nine! Looking to lose another 10 lbs for the month of Sept!

We can do anything we set our minds to. Keep pushing forward! Sooner or later it will pay off. Hope everyone has a GREAT day! :hug:

well ladies im still hanging around at the same weight. buuut my pants still fit and thats good enough for me right now. i've been trying to just make healthy decisions. i haven't quite found anything that works for me. just cut out sweets, late night snacks. i eat more fruits and veggies and always make sure im drinking plenty of water. but i want to be down to at LEAST 170 for my birthday 12/23/11 and i dont see that happening if i dont find a specific plan to follow. help?

So I was reading up on plateaus today on the WW's site and get this, they said to up your fat intake a bit and that sometimes breaks the plateau. Everything in moderation your body needs fat too (healthy ones, like olive oil, avocados etc) Maybe try that? Good luck jamer and angie, you are SO CLOSE!!!

Ugh! Why is it sooo hard to stay on track now that I'm soo close to 199?? I got down to 210 a few weeks ago, slowly crept back up to 218, now back down to 212. I blame 50% on TOM, but the other half is all me! Gotta get back on track... Soooo close. Jamber -- we have almost the same goal! I want to be at 175 by my birthday 12/12! It helped me (in the past) to cut back on carbs (not low carbs at all, but lower) and really only eat whole grain products. I eat quinoa or bulgur now instead of rice. And half size portions are usually enough. TONS of veggies and a bit of carb. I also eat pretty high protein - like 80-90g a day. Seems to help keep feeling full. A snack of string cheese is way more satisfying that the same calories of pretzels. At least for me.

Jamber -- Have you considered Dukan? There are a lot of people here doing that one, and you can pick up the book at the library. I've also heard great things about South Beach. :)

InsideMe - Thanks! I'm a big fan of healthy fats -- my plan is basically low carb/low sugar/low (bad) fat, but lots of protein and unlimited amounts of some good fats like olive oil.

Jen -- I agree...food with protein or lots of fiber keeps me feeling full and satisfied longer than any carbs. Carbs actually make me very munchy.

So today is my official weigh in day and I'm down to 208.8....ok well this is the thing, I woke up and weighed myself before I went to the bathroom and it was 209.8. I went to the bathroom and I dropped a pound!!! LOL How gross is that??? I stepped on it several times and yeah after my bathroom break I'm 208.8. LOL

208.0 this morning. Second day in a row I've had a slight gain. I'm positive it's due to eating out last night :( my will power has just disappeared over the last few weeks. The first few months of this I never strayed and stayed on plan perfectly, but now it's all I can do to stick with it for 3 days...I hope my will power comes back

Jamber -- I don't know a lot about Dukan (http://www.dukandiet.co.uk/), but there are a couple of threads here now you can check out. It's a low carb plan that alternates all-protein days with protein-veg days (at least at the beginning).

Thanks for the welcome! I did a sneak peek at the scale and I don't expect to officially be here tomorrow at my WI but I should be within 1 lb of the teens - so exciting!

And you are all such a great inspiration because you are all doing so well both losing weight and also, not getting discouraged by any of the normal ups and downs of this journey.

Jamber - I've been doing Dukan since May 22 and I am VERY happy with it. It's a pretty strict plan that has 100 foods you are allowed to have - low fat, very low carbs. You eat 2 tbs of oat bran a day, no other grains, starches or sugars, even fruit. The rest of the food is lean protein, low/no fat dairy and veggies. But on the plus side, you can eat as much of you want of the 100 permitted foods, so no counting calories. If you are interested, I'm happy to answer any questions. This has been the easiest plan to stay on that I've ever tried and I am also very happy with my weight loss progress, so I'm definitely a bit of a cheerleader for this plan!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I haven't posted for a while, but have still been reading. I've been sick since March (apparently because of my gallbladder) and I've been having leg problems as well, so I just haven't been able to keep my head in the dieting game. I am still working on getting out of the 200's, and I'm getting so close, I really want to push for it! I haven't been under 200 pounds since 5th grade.

I'm not eating much aside from crackers, soup, and jello, so I'm dropping weight. I think I will be having surgery soon, and after I'm hoping I can continue in the right direction instead of going nuts because I will be able to eat again.

I hope September is a good month for us all!!

Thank you, Angie, for your kind words. :) I was hard to diagnose because my pain was scattered pretty much everywhere except where the gallbladder is and ultrasound and CT scan showed it as normal. The right side pain started about a month ago though and last week I had a horrible attack. HIDA scan finally showed it is barely functioning. I meet with my surgeon on Wednesday to find out what will happen for sure.

Sunday is my 'official' weigh-in day, and the scales said 207.0. I don't remember last week for sure, but 2 weeks ago I was at 213.0. I can't take much credit for it because it is a side effect. However, I'm staying positive and considering it a boost to get back on plan. This is a new low weight for me, after all.

Saturday I hit a new low 210 pounds and reached a major mile stone. Two years ago I weighed 360 pounds. I have now lost 150 pounds from my highest weight. 107 pounds of that loss have been since I joined 3FC on January 6, 2011.

I am so looking forward to Onderland.

I went to my urologist today for followup on testing to determine the cause of kidney pain I have been experiencing . I received some unexpected results. My left kidney has a stone, is atrophied and is not functioning. I have been scheduled for a major operation to remove my left kidney on 10/3/2011:( I did not expect that!

Anyone know how much a kidney weighs? :D Is it considered cheating to lose weight via organ removal? :rofl:

This will be my second major surgery this year. I had open heart cardiac bypass surgery this April. My wife is superstitious and says bad things always happen in groups of three?:?: I sure hope that she is wrong.
