I know this will sound odd, but I rarely know when it's TOM. I have an IUD, so I don't normally see anything. But I noticed, today I got AF. So my question is what is your normal/average loss gain during that week? I was only down .6 last Monday, so I am going to assume this week is going to suck. I weighed in at WW today to check and see where I was at and I was +.4 from Monday. No biggie. Just curious sine I actually know it's TOM. Thanks for your insight. I know it's an odd question. :o

It's not an odd question! Everyone is different. I used to think that I gained during TOM, but after charting my weight daily I found that I actually gain/retain weight during ovulation (now that is weird to me!). Now that you know you are on AF, just keep your calories in check and know that hormones and all that good stuff are going wonkers...and don't panic if you see a slight uppage...you might not even see the scale go down! :)

I gain a little right before I start and also during ovulation as well.

I gain at least 2-3 pounds right before AF (two days after I start my "warning" cramps) and it sticks around until the day after my period has ended. I hate the bloat feel. But at least I know what it's attributed to!

Not only do I have very obvious symptoms before my period, but I also track so I know when to expect it.

OK, that could be why the pants are tighter... Duh. I guess I've never really paid attention since later 2008! :) Well I am not worried, I was just curious. Thanks ladies!!!
