hey everyone..... i was here a few times before and had some success then let it get away from me.... now... unfortunately i put all the weight back on and more... talk about depressing.... i look back to the day i reached my goal 5 years ago and it tears me up... i beat myself up over it. i wish someone would have kicked me in the rear and told me to stop eating! so now i have 80 pounds to lose. im not happy about it but im the one who put the fork to my mouth. i have no one to blame but myself. so today was day 1... 240.4 this morning.... i almost cryed but one step at a time, one day at a time. my goal is somewhere around 160-170... i drank 10 glasses of water, it was hot and i was sweating alot at work. i have a bad back, my dr advised me to not exercise until im around 200. so i will do the steps that i did the first time i went on the beach and had great success. well... its good to be back. i will do my best to come in everyday so that i keep on track. feel free to kick my rear and tell to fly straight lol. take care everyone. stacy

I too am back! Best of luck! I'm reading a book called The Beck Diet Solution... if you have issues staying on track, it seems like a good book to get! I got it yesterday and have been reading it. It helps you think positively! :) Day 1 of Phase 1 has gone well for me!

I am back too! I lost 45 lbs 6 years ago and have gained it all back plus another 30. Why do we always gain back more thatn we lost in the first place? It does feel glad to be back. Best of luck to all of us!

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome back! :carrot:

I do hope you'll all come back every day to check in, check out all of the interesting recipes, and let us know how you're feeling. Phase 1 can be rough. Something that really helped me get through it, especially if I was feeling helpless or impatient, was thinking "What can I do right now to be healthier?" Here's what I tended to come up with:
- Have a large glass of water
- Make a pot of tea (green/herbal)
- "Zip up those abs" as Denise Austin would say
- Breathing exercise
- Visualization exercise

Especially when sitting at work, these helped to instantly empower me. Good luck as you come back aboard!

I have a skinny latte almost every day from Starbuck's. Don't know Tim Horten's but can you get a SB compliant drink from them?

Hi! Welcome back!

um how do i get a ticker?? this one seems to be wrong and i dont know where to go to get a new one

If you click on your existing ticker you can go to Ticker Fact. and either get a new one or update your existing one.

3FC also has tickers. Under User CP there is an add signature option which will allow you to add one, too.
