Well sadly I have a huge gain to report - 4 lbs.

I have figured out why...

Basicly I have been goofing around with my diet since September - funny, that is also when I started working part time at Target. I worked 15-20 hours a week - and that was almost all exercise! - (one day I wore a pedometer just to find out - in a 4 hour shift I walked 7 miles!!!!) I left Target almost 2 weeks ago. It was the exercise that was keeping me from gaining the weight. (to be honest I was pretty much eating what I wanted during this time)

So the lesson - pump up my exercise and continue with the diet. I have been faithfully (except for one hour yesterday :nono: ) on the diet for a week now - I am not too upset about this huge gain but atleast it makes sense to me.

Exercise - wow - it's amazing what it can do for your body!!!

Well this is my first week (2nd day) .. my start weight is 245 lbs. Hopefully there will be a change by the next weigh in. :)

Dana..You have the right attitude about this. Don't beat yourself up over the 4 lb gain. Just let it be a wake up call...and that's what it seems to be.

Down 2.5 pounds from my January 1st weight. Altogether down 27 since Aug 1 02

Down five pounds from my 1/1/03 weight...but after cheating today, I'm afraid to get back on the scale.

I did it!!!! I have lost 100 pounds (101 to be exact)! I am so, so happy! :D

Last night the scale read 238.5. Official weigh in is on Friday.

Alright, although I've been really bad about the dies (ok, there has been no diet to speak of since November) I am still down to 204.5 that is still 1.5 less than my last weigh in. Think it was stress loss, I will probably gain it all back once things calm down around here.

Congratulations, Kayla! What an incredible, remarkable, wonderful accomplishment! I don't even know you, and I'm jumping up and down with joy!

I hope you celebrate by doing something wonderful for yourself.

went up a pound. i'm now 3 pounds up from my low. grr.

it's ok, i'm trying to stay motivated (or GET motivated!!)

Weighed in this morning, down .4 from Christmas Eve (and 1.6 from last week). However, I don't really feel it's right. Puffy and not feeling as "slim" as two weeks ago. Probably from eating more unhealthy stuff in between and having had little or no "exercise" for the past five weeks. I'm moving a lot but it's not the same kind of exercise.

Really feeling the urge to go on a binge tonight but reading all your posts usually helps me to stay on the straighter and more narrow. Will go have some more water and then some tea and no more eating 'til morning.

Congratulations to all who've managed to lose, esp. of course, Snowball.

I'm down 2.5 lbs to 209.5, a total loss of 55.5 lbs. :)

Well, thanks to a nasty stomach virus, my weight dropped 6 pounds this week. It would be nice if the weight stays off :)

I am fairly new and still learning the board. I like the accountability this thread provides. Does someone keep tallies of the pounds lost/gained?

I weigh in at 240 this week.

I went to the doctor on Tuesday and weighed in at 215. I'm using that as my official "starting-over" beginning weight. I may not weigh in every week - maybe just record what the doc scales say when I go.

But, I'm on track with my new eating plan so far.

I missed my weigh-in on Saturday, weighed today instead.

I'm down to 290 again. I've met my Valentine's Day goal, early. :)

I will weigh in on Saturday & post it in this week's thread, too.
