Scale say what!?
Let me begin with a brief history.
I have been losing about a pound a week. This is good, but it was less than I had lost before, and thought it could be liked to my PCOS. I suspected that I could be mildly insulin resistant. So this week was my first full week of taking chromium and cinnamon supplements, plus cutting back somewhat on refined sugar.
Now today was my weigh in. I do so at the grocery store because they have a big fancy scale. I weigh myself as soon as I go in, and I was shocked to see that the scale showed that I had lost 3.5 lbs. I grabbed a cart and did all my shopping, but just to make sure I had seen the weight correctly, I weighed again as I left. Suddenly, it showed I had lost 4 lbs! Then, after I unloaded the groceries in my car, I returned the cart and checked once more and sure enough now I had lost 4.5 lbs! What the [redacted]?!
So here's what I'm wondering: Do you have similar issues with scales? How should I record this weight? I'm tempted to just say I lost just a couple of pounds since I'd hate to go back next week and see that it was a scale issue, not my weight that had made the difference.
