Hemp milk, seitan, and other items from the health food store
I discovered hemp milk (actually after reading about it here) and all I can say is wow. It is so creamy and delicious! My son drinks almond milk each morning, but once we get through this container I'm switching him to chocolate hemp. He's a beanpole and could use the calories and fats. It's the best to make my chia pudding with too.
I also tried something else that had what I think was seitan in it. It was sort of little pieces of a tofu like substance that was drier and a bit chewy. As with tofu, it did not really posses a taste of its own, but rather absorbed the sauce flavor. All you veggies and anyone else who cooks with seitan - ideas for prep or dishes? I'm assuming it's SBD friendly like tofu is.
