Everyone at my meeting likes PB2, the one you mix with water. They sell it at drug emporium here, and I think online as well.

My favorite PB is called Naturally More - it's basically peanuts sweetened with just a bit of honey and also includes flax seeds. It's 4 P+ for 2 TBS. Most times I'll just use 1 TB on some toast.

Here's a link to their site with more info: http://www.naturallymore.com/

I don't like really sweet peanut butter and find this one to be just the right amount.

I've tried 'Better Than Peanut Butter' before and thought it was gross. Very sweet, not peanut-y and a really weird aftertaste. I haven't tried the dried PB but honestly, I'd rather just have the real thing and use the points for it.

I try not to eat a lot of peanut butter...no more than a tablespoon to go with my apples or pears... so, I usually just eat normal natural pb.

There really isn't that big a difference in points between brands and types, and there is a more noticeable difference in taste. I always look for healthier versions of whatever I am eating to save on points, this not excluded. Miniscule differences, big whoop....This is one that I just go ahead and have the real deal.

I have always loved JIFF, it's 5pp for 2tbs. I think all the jars I picked up at the store was the same pp.

I get smucker's natural---it has one ingredient---peanuts. Watch out for the commercial brands like Giff, Skippy and Peter Pan---TRANS FAT!!! Anything that has hydrogenated oil is bad for your health. I'm not sure all of those brands have hydrogenated oil---but when I've looked at the 'low fat' versions, they almost always have a bunch of sugar and trans fat.

A little off topic but has anyone tried cashew butter?? Is there a big difference(PPoints wise) between cashew and peanut butter?? I haven't really had peanut butter in almost a year. It's a HUGE trigger for me and I just assume not mess with it at all. But I am intrigued by cashew butter and wanted to give it a try.

I've never tried cashew butter, but have had almond butter many times---I love it almost as much as peanut butter. PB is a huge trigger for me too, but I found that if I have 1-2 tbls a day, I am good to go! I know I get to have it every morning for breakfast, so I don't eat it any other time. The moderation (daily) was a huge help! Honestly, I bet Cashew butter is very similar to other nut butters, so if you think you'll have trouble with control, I would probably avoid it
