I hate clothes shopping right now. I want cute clothes not just big clothes.

I read how much you have lost and if you wouldn't mind can you tell me what plan you are on? Your own plan or following a specific known one.

Thanks and GREAT job on your weight loss!!!:D

At my highest weight, I wore 26W pants and 26/28-30/32W tops. Currently, I am in 18-20W pants and 18/20W (1X) tops. I'm on the verge of being able to buy clothes from the regular size department!!

I do my own plan. I count calories staying UNDER 1500 a day I eat lots of lean meats, LOTS of veggies, whole grains, I dont deprive myself if I want something I just budget it into my calories I still eat ice cream just skinny cow ice cream I still eat cookies if I want them just 100 cal pack cookies I know if I deprived myself of things it wouldnt of worked I also make sure I weigh ALL MY FOOD on my food scale. I also drink 96oz of water a day and work out 5 days a week for 30 minutes to an hour I either use my wii fit or walk on my treadmill. Good luck on your journey and you are doing good so far.

When I was at my heaviest weight (probably around 235+, I don't know for sure because I was scared to weigh myself and I didn't weigh in until after I started working out) I was almost in a size 20 jeans. The size 20 was a bit too baggie and I could still squeeze myself into 18's but they were uncomfortable.

I am almost a size 12 now. Couldn't quite get those 12's zipped and my 14's are loose and falling off my butt. LOL

I was a 1x shirt size and still am. My breasts are (and always have been) very large. I wear a 38F bra. I can fit into XL tanks but regular nice shirts need to be a 1xl.

I was in Lane Bryant / Torrid / plus size catalogs for as long as I can remember. I wore 28W in pants (or whatever the LB size 7 jeans are), and 3x in shirts.

I just went yesterday to Old Navy and I got size MEDIUM sun dress and 2 medium cap sweaters. Total mind f*** since they look so teeny tiny I can't believe I can get them on. I saw a pair of pants I liked that were a size 14; tried them on and they were too big. There wasn't a smaller pair so I guess I am a size 12 in pants now (might be 10, I don't know).

I have a fun story from last weekend. I need some new bras (I went from thinking I was a 44DDD, to finding out I was really an 38H, and have now shrunk down to a 32DDD) so went to Lane Bryant thinking that they would have the cup size I needed. They do, but they only go down to a 38. So as I was walking to another store in the mall, I decided to see what was in the store Forever21 since I had never stepped foot in it before. I ended up getting the CUTEST little dress. It was a size large, but being able to walk into a store and just wearing something I found cute - crazy talk. I'm still in awe of the experience. It really boggles my mind that I can buy clothes off the rack at normal stores...

I can't wait 'til I am down where I want to be and maintaining so I can start buying a "real" wardrobe instead of this temporary stuff I keep getting (except that adorable dress which I am madly in love with)

i never did find a store that carried my bra size. I ordered online from Bare Necessities which I highly recommend. I have been getting my underhtings from them for the last year.

I started out in February of '10 wearing 34/36W and/or 5X and a 54DD, now I'm in size 18 regular in bottoms and a XL in tops and a 40D. My shoe size also went down from a 11.5 wide to a 11 regular - I can kind of sort of squeeze it into a 10 but it's a tight fit - I'm resigning myself to the fact that I may just have HUGE feet whether I lose weight or not.

You're almost out of the dreaded "W" sizes! :carrot: I couldn't wait to get to 14...safely away from any "W", which was a size I never could figure out. :dizzy:

I started out at 235 pounds as a 22 in denial. In other words, I was still stuffing myself into 20's that did not fit.

I am now a size 6 at 145 pounds.

When I started my 24s were getting tight. Now I'm 18 bottoms and 16 tops. I am just starting to fit into some things in straight size places like Eileen Fisher.

At one point, I was wearing size 20WP jeans. I just tried on a few pairs in my closet; how weird is this! I wear a size 16P Lee jeans; 14P Calvin Klein; 12P Liz Claiborne, and 8P Alfred Dunner. You really cannot go by jeans size!

I was outgrowing my 20's when I decided to lose weight. Now I'm in a 16 in most things, sometimes 16 is too small, sometimes it's too big...depends on the store I find. I'm amazed that I am fitting into larges at Old Navy that do not even have lycra in them! Wow. I am hoping to be a size 10 when all is said and done. :)

I was an 18/20 in tops and probably a 22 in bottoms (which I refused to buy) when I started. My bras were a 42DD. Now I am down to mostly medium tops and dresses, with the occasional large and mostly 12 or 14 pants. I just got measured for bras since my current ones are getting baggy, and was told I am down to a 34D. Can't wait to see where this last 40ish pounds will take me!

At 243 I was in 18/20Ws and 40DD.

Now at 183.5 I can fit into size 12 Old Navy Jeans, and depending on the dress I am a 12 or 14. The chest area is the part that makes me go up a size...now I am a 36DDD! Its like my torso shrunk to reveal more boob. Sigh!

At my highest, 270, I wore a 22 or 24 bottom and I was buying size 26 tops. Now I'm in 14s for bottoms and regular XLs or XXLs in some brands for tops.

I have a very small frame; I need to weigh about 20 pounds less than a medium-boned non-Asian woman would to look the same "weight" at my height.

At my highest ever I was about 170 pounds and SQUEEZING into a juniors' 13, prob wore a misses' 14 or a roomy 12.

At my first "low" I was 128 pounds and wore a 6/8 but mostly 8.

Slow regain throughout college happened, at my second high of 156ish I was a pretty solid US 10/EUR 40-42.

Got all the way down to 123.5 on my birthday. I went on vacation and bought my first ever US size 4/German EUR 34 dresses from H&M. I'd say I was riding the line between 4 and 6, hard to tell since I hadn't been to America at that weight.

Now I've been slacking off and overeating and somewhere between 132-136, and those H&M dresses are getting tight.

I'm 261, and I wear a 20W or 22W pants and a 20W or 22W shirt. I could probably wear an 18/20 shirt, but I hate anything clingy, that's for sure.

I started at a 16/18, and now Im in a 10/12, but my tops are between a medium/large due to being chestier. Im really fusturated though because after almost 40 pounds, my butt refuses to shrink, I feel like eveything else is.

I am having so much fun shopping again!

When I started I wore size 2-3X tops, 24-26W pants, and 44D bra.

Now I wear size L-XL tops, 16-18W pants, and need to be measured for a new bra. :D

I hope to wear size M tops and size 10-12 pants at goal.

I started out at XL in tops and sz 24 in pants... I'm now at L in tops and 18 in pants. I'm sort of getting into that in-between where 18s I can just slide up or down off my hips buttoned but I'm not yet able to squeeze into a 16.

At my highest I was buying a size 18, but they were pretty loose I would mostly purchase a size 16.

Now I'm purchasing a size 14.

Thank you. I only exercise 3 days a week and know I need to do more. Just haven't gotten there yet:) I watch my calories as well but I also need to start adding back some of the things I like more. I want to buy one of those Salter scales so I know exactly how much 3oz or 4oz of chicken is instead of just trying to guess it.

I am given these 22/24's a work out! Like many of you ladies - I look forward to the day when I no longer HAVE to shop in the plus size section or in special plus size stores!

@Ky30
Excellent job! I am not at a point where I enjoy clothes shopping but I get excited reading about people who do! Keep up the AMAZING work! Your plan sounds very regimented - good for you for sticking to it. I'm working on something similar myself. :dizzy: Worked out five days last week, stayed under 1700 cals each day. Feelin' great!

@JustShareing83
You are doing so great! Seems (by the #'s) are journey's are similar. I hope I'm as successful as you have been!

@Lauren201
Great job finally getting on that scale. Nearly in a size 12!!! Woo hoo!

@PacificaBee
Great story. I laughed out loud when you called in a mind f***. That must be so true. Old Navy is like Never Never Land or the North Pole to me still! Can't wait to be dizzy with amazement like you. Simply fabulous!

I was a size 22 or 24 pants depending on brand I wore tight size 2x shirts,2x and some 3x dresses depending on cut, 44DDD bra,size 9.5 shoes.

Now size 8 pants medium shirts,medium dresses,34 D bra,size 8.5 shoe.
Even jeans and panties I bought last month are getting loose in the waist. I have only lost 3 pounds in the last 6 weeks but my shape seems to be swiddling down. People see me and say they see I am still losing I know it's only been 3 pounds but they say its noticable.

I have only just begun my weight loss journey (as recently as March 23) and at the beginning I was wearing Australian size 22 tops and Australian size 20 pants and now I have dropped a size in both; comfortably fitting 20 top and just so in size 18 pants.

I've also noticed that my shoes are so much loser fitting.

Now I'm 238 and a size 18. :)

At my heaviest, I wore a size 26 jeans, and as big as size 30 tops ( cause I didn't like the idea of having them cling to me. I thought if I bought them bigger, it would "hide" the fat. Ugh.....

Now, I wear 14/16 bottoms and Large/XL tops.

When I started out, I was about a 24 in pants and at least an XXL in shirts - sometimes a XXXL. I'm not sure what my proper bra size was, but when I was down about 30 lbs, I bought new bras and they were 40H.

Now (at around 159lbs), I'm a 12 (sometimes 10) in pants and usually an XL in shirts. I'm only an XL because my boobs are still huge :lol:. I'm currently wearing a 36G, but I need a new bra - I suspect it will be around a 32G.

Wow ladies keep it up!
At my heaviest - 336, I was wearing 32 pants and 5x tops. Now I wear 28-30 pants and 3-4x tops.
Looking at some of your weights and the sizes you were wearing confirms just how wacky sizing really is. I'd kill to be 270ish and in 22's! Guess maybe it's cause I don't carry my weight in my bra?! When I lose all this weight, I'll be lucky to still be a C-cup!

At my highest weight, my favorite skirt was a size 18 and it was somewhat snug at the waist. Now I wear the same style of skirt, but it's a 14 and fits just right at the waist. :) All my tops were knits, so they varied between 1X and 2X. I haven't lost much at all in my chest, so I still wear an XL top most of the time--but I wore Ls when I weighed 125 pounds because of "the girls." I don't think that's ever going to change. :dizzy:

I took pictures of the size 18 skirt and how it hangs now (if you look up the pics, it's the skirt that I'm pulling away from my waist).
