Hi kids! Is that Peachie back from her gallivanting yet? I suppose I will have to wait for days to find out about all the eligible silver haired charmers she is flirting with.

We managed to have a relatively unsick Christmas day here -- I'm almost human again and DD shed her illness in short order. 24 hour flu indeed! She even ate Christmas dinner to my surprise. We had 14 here for dinner, even my handsome 26 yr old nephew showed up.

Going to see the new Lord of the Rings movie this afternoon. Enjoy your post-holiday lull, everybody!

Kiwi

P.S. I have to add something on-topic :yikes: I didn't stuff myself at Christmas dinner, yay for me! Enjoyed it, but didn't overeat. I made up for that with too many drinks, probably...

Hey Kiwi! Glad to hear that everyone's healthy again.

It's not that I ate a lot at any particular meal, but I just sort of *grazed* the whole time - too many cookies, chocolate Santas etc. Probably gained 5 lbs but we'll just pretend it's water, like those darling lo-carbers do. Actually did go for a half hour walk today, so that's a start in the right direction.

Christmas lunch at the ils on the 25th was kind of wierd. I was expecting goose or turkey or something but all we had was a choice between a steak or some left over pork roast with canned green beans and potatoes. Bleh. We got out of there in a hurry.

Hi Kiwi, glad to hear you and DD recovered in time for Santa's visit.

I'm worn out from all the frivolity, and we still have 2 more parties this coming weekend. Our Christmas was wonderful. Santa was very good to us all. We had Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner at my parent's house, and we had a big Christmas morning breakfast at our house. I won't have to eat for a month.

Can't wait to hear from Peachy.

Wow, what a gyp. Maybe they forgot it was Christmas...

My sissie poo has cooked so many dinners for 10 or more this week that she deserves a medal. I remember when she used to be a semi-vegetarian and had to leave the room when the turkey was carved  We had a chicken casserole on Sunday for 11, we took them out to dinner on Monday, we had a ham dinner for 10 on Tuesday, a yummy brunch for 10 and a turkey dinner for 14 on Christmas, and a birthday dinner of ribeye steaks for her dh tonight for 11 of us. We are going to a dinner party tomorrow at sis's friends' house. She says we have to eat up all the leftovers on Saturday.

I think it's water-weight too, Sugar. Just go swimming a couple of times and the excess will escape through your pores like magic.

How'd it go with Bagz this week? Able to sit down, dear? ;)

About 75 Sick Passengers Taken off Cruise Ship, Bused to Miami

The Associated Press

KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) - Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines officials removed about 75 passengers from a ship in Key West and sent them to Miami by bus, after the guests fell ill during a four-day sail to the Bahamas, a spokeswoman said.

The Majesty of the Seas, an 880-foot vessel which can accommodate 2,744 passengers, was making a scheduled stop in Key West Thursday morning when the sick passengers, many of whom had been quarantined in their cabins aboard the ship, were loaded onto two Miami-bound buses.

"This was handled terribly," said Adam Hoffman, a Connecticut man who was among the passengers sent to Miami.

The trip was scheduled to end at the Port of Miami on Friday morning.

Royal Caribbean spokeswoman Lynn Martenstein said she could not confirm whether the passengers were suffering from a Norwalk-like virus which has plagued numerous cruise ships in recent weeks.

"It could be anything from guests staying out too late, drinking and eating, to what the stomach flu people refer to as the Norwalk-type virus," Martenstein said. "It is not unusual. It's not a particularly high number of people with flu symptoms."

Martenstein said there had been a "limited number" of stomach flu cases in recent weeks aboard the Majesty, adding that the cruise line had kept the Center for Disease Control and Prevention informed of the situation.

"The CDC is not taking any action," Martenstein said.

Officials from the CDC could not be reached for comment early Friday.

The Norwalk-like virus strikes suddenly and violently, typically lasting 1-2 days. It can cause vomiting, headaches and nausea, according to health officials, and is considered to be one of the most common gastrointestinal viruses.

More than 1,000 passengers have recently become sick on cruise ships and the CDC is looking into more than 20 outbreaks of the virus on cruise lines, more than it has seen in the four previous years combined.

Wabby, yer makin' me jealous! I want to have a real Christmas again, with lots and lots of festive people, not grumpy ol' FIL. Going to see my pregnant friend tomorrow for a little post Christmas breakfast. That, at least, should be fun.

Gosh, that would be terrible if that were Peaches' ship! I do think she was going on Royal Carribbean, but can't remember how many days.

Sugar P, there have been plenty of grumpy ppl at these parties & open houses. I think it goes with the season. Either you love it, or you're a scrooge. The party tonight is at my ex-sis in laws house. She's remarried to a very nice man and they have a beeeeeutiful old english tudor style home. It's the perfect Christmas house.

Kiwi, your sister does deserve an award. She probably loves to do it though, especially for her very sweet sister & family.

We're having a very blustery day here. Hope I don't get blown away.

Hi all, Merry Merry, We had a nice Christmas. Quiet, but that was ok. Turns out my kids like a quiet Christmas. I like lots of noise and parties, but since everyone is fighting at the family parties, it is nice to have a quiet party here with just us.
Kiwi, does your sis at least complain???? I'm glad you guys are feeling better.
I agree that Peaches was taking a 7 day cruise. I also don't think she sailed out of Miami.
Sugar, Leftovers for Christmas dinner?
Wabby, you are having such a fun holiday. Have you bought lots of cool clothes to go with this social life?
I've probably gained a ton. I've done nothing but eat. The boys are going to a hockey game tonight and DD and I are going to see Two Weeks notice. Tomorrow is our big trip to NYC to see Rent, I'm so excited. Poor DD has a ripped apart knee and won't be able to walk like a maniac, but she'll manage, she says.
Should I post a list? Did you notice that on Christmas eve, I actually did the things I posted on my list? Maybe I'm changing.
Here goes:
1. get book of some kind (tom Clancy was a bore) had I done anything, I'm sure I would have needed a book on tape
2. Shift wash I did actually do this, because I had nothing to wear
3. put away Christmas dishes(shame)hhs, hhs, clean up Christmas dishes? It isn't even Easter, yet.
4. vac houseHad I done this, how would I have heard what my sil was saying to me on the phone? What do you think I am, rude?
5. clean out basket from car at least I cleaned out the car, now I'm expected to put the stuff away?
6. shift wash againI did do this, too. DD has no sheets for her bed.
7. christmas stuff out of my room if I moved all that stuff, what would there be for me to trip over when my weakened bladder calls in the middle of the night?
8. sort receiptsnope
9. fill a bag of trash a la the 27 thingthe kids did this one, can I take credit?
10. shower and dress(it's only 2PM) Now it's six o'clock. I've been on the phone since I posted the original list. I have taken a shower. I am dressed. We're going to see Two Weeks Notice bye

That's my list. I started this list hours ago, but was on the phone, etc and never finished it. I'm going for 10/10.....I know you all are gripped by the suspense.

 Howdy cows!

Just stopping in to wish you all a
WONDERFUL NEW YEAR !!!!!!

Sounds like you all had a good christmas. SugP, so sorry about the dinner. What was up with that?

Ours was great. I was finally able to give my kids a quality christmas and it felt really good. :spin: :spin: :spin: My year is up here in February and I am negotiating my raise, KIDS AND I SHOULD BE OUT IN OUR OWN house by mid march. Thank the goddesses, god, or whatever....it is time!

Kids are so weird sometimes. I gave pumpkin (who is the BEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL kindergardner in the whole universe :p , by the way) an armoire type oak jewelry box and that was her favorite gift. Still talking about it. I thought it would have been one of the toys. Go figure.

DS was very happy also. He will be 17 next month and quite opinionated:stress: on world events. Kid is WAY MORE informed on things than I am, so......... we are no longer allowed to debate these things. hee hee

Bagzie, I wish your family some peace in the New Year. It sounds like those kids have wonderful support from all of you. Poor little babies.

Lush, I hope you enjoyed your time with your mom at the holiday. I'm sorry she is ill.

Kiwi, sounds like you are having a good time. Party Animal!

I hope Peaches wasn't on the ship with the sickies! That would be very disappointing, but I hear they usually get a free cruise out of it. But would you want to go again???

Wabby, good luck with your surgery.

Speaking of surgery, mom has lost 100 lbs since her gastric in July. Can you lose that fast and be healthy???? I have to get kickin before she passes me up. That would just give her way too much pleasure.

Now that I have written a book, I will leave you to your peace and get back to work. hee hee I just realized I have been surfing for quite a while!

Later cows,

Muffie (hi to cherry if you are out there!)

No, Sugar, that wasn't my ship. Mine was healthy. I met no silver haired gentlemen. The ship was kind of small for a ship. There was not tons of things to do. There was BINGO at $10 a card and gambling and young people in the pool and tons of absolutely wonderful food and a nice bed that rocked you to sleep. But no extra men activities and no stuff for ds either. They grouped him with 12-14 year olds which wasn't good. He didn't hang out there.

At our table, we did have a 14-yo girl who was good company for him. In fact, Ithought she was adorable. Perfect. She was smart and interested and lively and well-mannered. When we got home he talked to her on AIM and right away she was RUDE. !!! Rude to MY BABY!!!!! He's been working on a project that involves creating a picture and he offered to show it to her and she said NOPE!!!!

Saying NOPE to my ds is unacceptble.

The excursions were interesting but I sent no postcards as we were hereded from placed to place in Belize and Cayman Islands. In Cozumel we were let loose into a mass of stores that expected us to bargain for tee-shirts, knick-knacks, blankets, sombreros and jewelry. It was too much. So sorry. I meant to send postcards!1 Really, I did.

Soooo glad you and ds didn't barf, Peachy! How dare that girl be rude to ds. Maybe that means she likes him? You know how girls are.

Do you think the silver-haired gentlemen were on a different ship?

Tell us about the food! 24/7 all-you-can-eat buffet?

Hey muffie! Hope you had a nice Christmas and all the best for 2003. Are you going to move far, far away from the relatives?

Thanks for the pic of you and your adorable family, Kiwi!

Hi Wabby! Hi Lush! Hi Cherry! (thanks for the letter!)

Sugar, how kind of you to ask about the bestest thing on the ship. There was not 24 hour food. There was a cafeteria room where the food was basically the same all the time at each meal. I usually ate lunch and breakfast there because ds would have wandered off and left me alone. They always had at lunch Greek salad and Waldorf salad and other salads and tons of rolls and cold cuts and fruit and a huge display of desserts like chocolate souffle inside a white chocolate shell or all kinds of cheesecake or Boston cream pie, etc.

But the dining room was something else!! Always a different menu. Lots of selections and all different everyday. They had lobster, filet mignon, curry, salmon souffle, salads made of exotic fruits, cold soups, and they encouraged you to have several choices. The 14-yo old, who was 5'10" and thin thin cute thin sat with a steak and duck in front of her. When they took away those dishes, she had two desserts. DS and I did not get piggy. I decided to go ahead and gain weight because whatever I was turning down that week wasn't going to show up again next week whenI was ready for it. So I waddle.

Where's you all?

YOUR HOROSCOPE this week by Tanya Obreza
Week beginning December 29 2002

Use this downtime to review the past year. You'll also want to reassess whether you can maintain the same madding pace. It could be, too, that your love life is due for an overhaul. If you have misplaced that certain magic, there's probably something special waiting in Lost and Found :?:

Uncannily accurate, don't you think?? Gotta go see what they say about me!:smug:

Wabby
12-30-2002, 03:04 PM
Hey! I'm an Aries! I don't think any of that applies to me. Except maybe the madding pace thing. We're done with parties for awhile. On New Years Eve we've decided to go out to dinner and a movie all by ourselves!!!!! Oh, and I dooooo like diamonds and rubys. But I also like saphires and pearls and just about any other purdy thing. The love life would be fine if we didn't have grown children traipsing through our bedroom at all hours. So I guess that could use an overhaul too. I guess all of that applies to me. :dizzy:

How dare that little trollup be rude to your DS, Peaches. I guess you just can't trust those shipboard romances. At least he had a fun flirtation for vacation.

I went shopping all day yesterday w/ a friend to find her a mother of the bride dress. Do you know that almost all the dressy dresses are black this time of year? Her daughter gets married on Jan. 25th. It was going to be a springtime wedding, but apparently my friend is going to have a new grandbaby sooner than expected, so the wedding date was moved up. Time to update that birds and the bees talk with my kids.:fr:

Hello, Dd and I are listening to the REnt soundtrack, which is wonderful. We had such a great time in NYC.
Now it is NY's Eve. We're going to the movies, the house is a tip and I'm a bore.
I noticed that everyone who sent me a card remarked positively about my lists. You're being sarcastic, aren't you? I'm so glad I'm too shallow to pick up on such subtlities. (sp) I'll probably have a list for today, too. Say nice things to me.
Sissy, I'm so glad you had great food on the cruise. Let's face it, if you would have met a man you probably would never see him again, but you can see the food you ate every time you look in the mirror. You lucky duck.
Hi to everyone. Sugar, if you posted a list, I would be happy.
Without it, I'll think you are exaggerating about your tip. We all think you are perfect, how could you have a messy house?
Me, not perfect at all. My house is a health hazard, so I'm going to get moving. Scroll through list, s'il vous plait, it's a bore.
I reserve the right to take credit for work done by kids since I gave birth to them.
1. find a book on tape, not Tom Clancy who is a yawn and a halfI listened to Rent instead, DS and I have a not-talking contest going on so it is very quiet around here
2. shift wash oops I forgot
3. trash outkids did it
4. windex public areas nah
5. dust public areasnope
6. vac public areasno
7. clean out remnants of Christmas shoppingI actually did do this one, it took me quite a while
8. clean up family room a kid did this one
9. shift wash if I didn't do it the first time, I didn't do it this time
10. Take a nap or go shopping....which will it be????SUCCESS!!!! I took a nice relaxing nap

I should take that nap, now. Shouldn't I???

It's storming here. Flash floods. tornados. I had stuff to do (like go to the movies) but the weather is too bad.

My landlord called this morning and got the answering machine. Wants to know if I've thought more about buying this house from her/him. What should I say? The house is overpriced and I wouldn't be allowed to buy it anyway with the loan I'm hoping to have soon. I have to buy something up to spec. BUTTTT, these people are in the process of buying a house at the beach from my neighbor's bil and they want to sell this one and I don't want them to do it or even start with it while I'm here. What should I tell them?

I opened my mail and found that Kiwi is still so slick with that computer stuff and found that Wabby brought a tear to my eye and found that BAGZ took my breath away. LITERALLYYYYYY... WOWOWOWOWOWWOW What a card.

My list:
1.Ignore my new cruise fat
2.Work on affirmations (I have a thin healthy gorgeous body and am loved. God is guiding my life.) How's that Sugar?
3.Clean off the kitchen counters
4.Make soup
5.Get everything off the lr floor
6.Exercise
7.Type ds's resume and pretend he did it. It's a merit badge requirement.
8.Print off stuff that needs to go in the mail.
9.Call friend in nursing home and tell her I'm not driving through tornados to visit her.
10. Take some stuff out of my closet to give away. (If I can reach it)

I didn't do any of my list. I'm such a bum. My son and I have a bet about who can go the longest without talking. I think he is going to win because I have to order dinner.

Yes Bagzie, I have also heard that about fat and sugar, especially sugar. Also, I have read that eating a lot of sugar interferes with how your body processes vitamins and minerals (and apparently takes a lot of minerals from your body for the processing.) Sugar is bad, bad, bad, but I love it so.

I'm upgrading my diet week by week starting Thursday. I'm starting with eating breakfast within an hour of getting up. I'm going to keep cereal and skim milk at work so I can eat after I get to work. (It'll be 5am- no one will care.)

I'm also going to do more weights and heavier weights this year, instead of focusing on cardio as much. Clearly that was not effective.

Well, I started this entry about five hours ago, so I better get it posted some time this year!

When in doubt, eat. That's what I've been doing. We had a fondue last night. With meat. But not cooked in oil, like usual. This year we used broth and it was just as good. Made low fat donuts. They were awful. Why bother? Our mud slogger broke so dh bought a deluxe model that only whispers while one slogs so I can watch tv while I'm using it. Been thinking of trying it out for at least 4 days now. Flab is everywhere.

At midnight we all went outside and let off fireworks with the neighbours. You're allowed to do that here. There were some bad boys up the street who were shooting flares out of a nasty gun at a truck so one of our neighbours (looks 40, acts 13) shot a rocket right at them (they were pretty far away). They didn't see who did it so we all ran for it and when they came down our street a couple of minutes later to ask if we knew who it was, the guilty neighbour said " Oh,yeah! I just saw them take off around the corner. You better run fast if you want to catch them!" They believed him. Men and fire, I tell ya.

Cherry! Do you know that Perfect 2000 is still sending out messages? I can't bear to unsubscribe in case something exciting happens. I've heard that about sugar and vitamins too. Sugar leeches the vitamins and minerals out of your body and just basically makes you feel like cr*p. Ask me how I know.

Hey Brattie! Thanks for the card! My MIL can't cook either. Shocking, isn't it?

Wabby, you are much too young to have such grown up kids. Your ds has the same name as one of mine! How exciting. And you DO NOT look fat!

Lushy, I haven't made a list in about 5 years. House really is a tip. Getting a new kitchen floor because my tiles keeps cracking and stuff gets in the grouting and stays there. Ick. Talk about a health hazard.

Bagzie! You made it through! Put down that leftover egg nog NOW and give me 20 push ups (as if that's gonna help!)

What's this house like, Peachy? What does your Innermost Self tell you to do? I like your affirmation. It's very powerful. I suppose the postcard I sent will be lost in space somewhere. I wonder what they'll do with it?

It's 1:22 p.m. Might be time for a shower. Ate three weency pieces of bacon this morning. We had snow. Kids are outside hitting each other instead of doing it inside. Mummy sent Star Wars 2, the complete 3rd season of Sex and the City (what season are they on now, anyway?)and a Restoration Hardware catalogue so we'll be busy today. I'm thinking of a sofa in moss green chenille. Someone talk me out of it.

i love the sofa in moss chenille idea!!!check out the website for Sex and the City---i forget where they are but i think i have seen most of them---they are into reruns because of the short season due to scrawny having a baby---{their skinny-ness sometimes DRIVES ME!!!!}----I can't stop eating today,we are going to a fancy brunch at the Hilton or the Delta---some classy joint and THEN i have a buffet new years supper at sissy's with turkey and ham and trifle---i know for a fact that i can't start until MONDAY---Oprah is talking about her new health plan and fitness regime tomorrow on her show----this is the third day for my headache and NOTHING is working----helpppppppppppppppppppppp---hi dalhia! welcome back!!!!

Can't help but love her though. How *do* they all stay so thin? I don't think I really want to know because I'm pretty sure it's not entirely due to diet and exercise. What sort of baby did S.J. have? I am so out of the loop that it's pitiful.

Not going anywhere for no fancy brunches. Kids are having a dill pickle pig out and I'm just finished my 3 day old Turkish bulgar salad which is divine but gives me killer heartburn.

Hi Bagz and everyone else..

Happy New Year... I am going to take down my decorations today, then having the family over for a ham dinner, each one is bringing something so I don't have to do it all. that is one of my new year changes... delegate more ...and enjoy life better..

Had a great holiday, had a party last night here at the house. Was fun. Have ds#4 recovering from major back surgery so had to stay home..(*like we'd go anywhere anyway*) :)

I did a lot of eating over the holidays, but with all the running up and down stairs (son is upstairs, fairly bedridden so needs lots of assistance) I have maintained my weight, so at least will start at same place now to lose again...I've noticed you *cows* don't know why you call yourselves that..:) don't mention what kind of diet plans you are on.. or have I just come into it to late?

Anyway, if its ok I think I would like to post more often and get to know all of you better this year.. I think you are a bunch of *nuts* and I mean that nicely... you all sound like people I'd like to be associated with...I'll even post my *lists* if that will help...LOL I make them all the time...but have to warn you, I ususally do everything on it.. I am a very organized person, it drives my dh and family crazy...

Ok, well everyone have a super New Year and I will be talking to you soon.. I really enjoy reading all your posts.

Hi everyone -- I am borrowing a computer and borrowing a phone card to post this, so I have to be brief. Glad you are all having a little fun what with parties and tornadoes and fireworks and all.... ;) We almost got drowned out last night while waiting for fireworks at the beach, but we stuck it out and got to see a wild bunch of them before it really became a deluge. Having a great time. Wish you were here :) Later, gators (we have our own gator in a little pond at the hotel, very cute :dizzy: )

Hey cows, it sounds like you all stayed awake to see the new year in. I stayed awake until midnight eastern time. Since I'm on the west coast, I didn't exactly party all night. We went out and ate prime rib and lobster then we were too fat and full to sit through a movie so we came home and watched tv. Can you believe what boring middle aged ppl we have become?

Peaches, I need you to think up an affirmation for me. Make it a really good one, like I am an energetic person who accomplishes much and is calm and composed while doing it. Not to mention thin and beautiful.

I'm working on cleaning up the Christmas debris. Wish me luck - I'll be back.

Dahlia, I'd like to see your list..... don't even wait for anyone else to post. SHOW ME YOUR LIST!!! Is it normaL????? I can't do lists. I've recognized I can only do one thing at a time.

My list:

1. Finish taking old nobody-wears-them-but-we-think-we-will-soon clothes out of my closet and ds's closet while he's at his friends. Hide them somewhere til I get them to the Caring and Sharing.

Now for Wabby: "I am a beautiful efficient woman who enhances the lives of all around me. I accomplish what I need to. I am comfortable with the knowledge that I balance many 'jobs' and do them all lovingly and well."

*kiss* *kiss* Going to the closets now. Anyone have kids who never want anything thrown out or given away?

Send them over Sugar. Will I understand their little accents? What do they sound like anyway? Just like you?

My new list:

1. Put away everything in the kitchen.

p.s. when Kiwi comes and tells me I've spelled "But" wrong, please remind her that I had MY PIcTURE taken with Joe Butler and Jerry Yester of the Lovin' Spoonful.

Hi all,
Welcome to Perfect 2009. I'm working ahead. I figure if I start now, I'll make it.
Dahlia, that list was just plain depressing. You're making me tired.
Sissy, You didn't answer me about John Sebastian.
Remember "She's a Lady"...that was my favorite song when I was about 14. I'm still mad about the Welcome Back Kotter song, in 1976 I had a neighbor who played that song over and over and over and over. I think it would have been good had he not made that song. Maybe once you're married you can get him to eliminate that song from circulation.
Here is how much I ate over the holidays, I have heartburn. This is new. I am still stuffed.
Today I am just doing the wash. It is so far behind, that I'm concentrating on just that. The laundry room is so full that I have to walk over a pile of clothes to get to the washer.
I should get to it.
Sugar, I throw my kids stuff away when they are not home. They never notice. However, if they are here, it is a battle. Really, I need a pack of matches for this place. I'm off to handle my wash

I like your idea Lush. Besides, in 2009 I'll be 53 and at that point I won't care anymore, right? Sure.

I'm feeling real smug here because I've already taken down my Christmas tree and put away all my decorations under the stairs. :smug: Outside lights are not my department and will probably be up until the 4th of July. All DH can think about is cars, cars, cars. DS bought a new project car - a '71 Chevelle, just like one I had in 1978. Now it's considered a vintage car, what does that tell you? Anyway DH is so thrilled that DS is working on a domestic car instead of an import, that he's spending every spare minute out in the shop.

We did take time out for a movie yesterday. We saw Gangs of New York. It was so gory that there were some scenes I couldn't watch and I just wanted everybody to take a bath. Other than that, it was a pretty good movie.

Bunco is saturday night. My friend who is hosting it is an adorable 38 yr old who is preggers for the first time. She is so happy to be pregnant. She really does have that glow. Do you think a baby late in life keeps you young? Maybe I should adopt. :yikes:

Speaking of adopted kids, my DS's best friend, who is my spare son, was in a head on collision last night, but he is ok, thanks to a safe car and air bags. The other driver, who we think was drinking veered over the center line. They were both going 50 mph, so it was a miracle that they both walked away, although his car is a total.

Thanks for the affirmation, Lush. I think I'd better stick with something simpler. Like "I'm an ok person."

Hello everybody,

Ok, Wabby, watchit *LOL* and what is this perfect 2009 business... and fyi I will be 53 next month,, and I still care very much,, thank you..:)

also, having a baby late in life does not keep you young, it just reminds you that you aren't as young as you thought you were.... speaking as a baby of a 40 yr. old mother,, it sucked.... cause most of your friends all have young parents... and you don't.. course now adays, more and more are waiting till they are older so maybe it won't be so bad...but glad I had mine when I was in my 20's and my last one at 32...

Also Lush, I am sorry if I depressed you with my list.. perhaps if I confess I didn't get to the closet today you will feel better. I took one look into the closet and said (not today baby)... besides I had a couple hours of work I had to do in the office.. so I have postponed that chore till tomorrow mmmmmaybe Saturday.... (LOL) not looking forward to diving into it.... but really need to get the pile of Christmas boxes out of the music room..

Wabby, glad your son's friend was not hurt... thank God for airbags.........

Ok.. well that is my 2 cents worth for tonight... oh one more thing, I was reading my Woman's Day magazine and one item hit me... this family does laundry all week but just throws the clean clothes into baskets until Sunday afternoon, then they dump all the clothes on the floor in the middle of the room, each one takes their own stuff, folds it and puts it away... now is it me or is this dumb.... can you imagine how wrinkled everything would be... even when I had all the kids home and did laundry everyday, I folded it right out of the dryer or off the line...saved ironing... which I hated to do.. and didn't if I didn't have to...

Why would ya throw clean clothing in a basket? Geesh that is waht DS 8 tries to do. I am triing to catch up with all the past postings. 3 weeks is a lot to read. I am not worrying about cleaning or eatting right until Jan 6th when the kids are all in school and i am free. I am sick of the kids here. I have had them 3 weeks now and will of been with them almost 4 weeks by the time schools starts. I need my quiet time! I need my noon naps, and my quiet time showers. I wanna run around my house naked if I want to and not be seen. I wanna eat a candy bar and not have eyes on me. Should I eat in my bathrooom? I need my me time. I love being away fron the out laws they are evil people and I do not like them. I love my Son Tony though he is my  :bb:

Well. I'm speechless re: laundry thrown in a basket. If we weren't meant to throw laundry into a basket, why make laundry baskets. In a perfect world I would never let my laundry ever sit long enough to get a single wrinkle, but since my world is in no way shape or form perfect, I have not only wrinkled laundry, but I also have been know to tell DH "if you don't want to wear wrinkled shirts, then learn to iron". If I hung around home all day waiting to the dryer to stop, I'd A) never get anything done, and B) be buried under the mountain of dirty clothes.

Dahlia, I'm glad to hear that you still care. ;) Actually I know that I will still care at 53 too. I plan on being a hot babe by then. Look at Tina Turner. Look at Sophia Loren. Besides, the Perfect 2009 plan should kick in by then. Lush, is there still a SystemGoddess??

Lush

Wabby, SG still hassles me, so I blocked all mail with System Goddess in the address or subject. They seem to have a problem with perverts signing on and telling members to go to certain websites. They want me to unsubscribe these people. The problem is, I don't remember my password at SG so I can't do anything. Kiwi used to be able to access that stuff, but I don't know if she has the password anymore, either.
Believe it or not, wash gets wrinkled at my house, too. I'm as horrified as you are.
My dd has dislocated her her knee and has to wear an immobilizer on her leg. She is quite unhappy. She will be down for two months.
I think that Perfect 2009 is the way to go. I am starting now. I am making my first step toward perfection. It will be to.......
I don't know, but when I make it it will be definite.
I am open to suggestions.
I have gained weight over the holidays. I will lose it starting next week. See how positive? Now I'm going to go stuff myself until then. bye

Dahlia

Lush,
so sorry to hear about your daughters knee, I am sympathize with her. I first dislocated my knee at age 16 when a lady knocked me down in a shoe store. Once it goes out, it tends to happen again and again.. used to be my knee went out more than I did..finally at age 27, 10 days after I had a new baby.. my knee went out and would not go back in. to much damage under it all.. so had to have surgery to fix it.. huge scar, they had to remove the knee cap, they did put it back on but were not sure if they could..anyway to make a long story short... make sure she takes care of it and has a good doctor..

What is the Perfect 2009 plan anway?

I got my closet done today,, it took most of the day.. but nowit looks so nice... my house if finally back in shape since the holidays. So now my list is complete....

Now I have to work on getting myself into shape.. this will take longer but I am determined to do it... what type of plans are you ladies using?

Well, have a good evening everyone and see you all tomorrow.

No one really knows, Dahlia. That's the beauty of it.

I don't know that any of us follow any sort of diet plan because we all know that *diets don't work* - if they did, this site wouldn't exist. Some of us have been on Weight Watchers though, which seems to be one of the more sensible ways of eating.

Cherry is our resident exercise guru and mentor. Wabby likes walking. Peaches is naturally slim and the rest of us do what we can, which is usually nothing, but sometimes a bit more. I plan to start using the elliptical strider and doing a weight routine on alternate days. Got going pretty good there last year, but quickly lost momentum.

What sort of plan do you follow?

Got my new kitchen floor. It's not fabulous, but it'll do for now, and the best part is I only have to mop it instead of getting down on my hands and knees and scrubbing.

Threw away a big bag of cr*p for FlyLady today. Xmas decorations coming down Sundy. ILs invited us for a TURKEY DINNER tomorrow. Why oh why couldn't we have had that at Christmas? Are they trying to annoy me?

Later, cows!:smug:

Wabby

No, Sugar, not annoy you. I think it's something much more sinister than that.:s:

Lush, DD is much too young to start with the knee problems. That will be slow torture for her to stay off it, but tell her Aunty Wabby said she'd better. Actually it will probably be slow torture for you, while she's complaining about staying off it.

Dahlia, you'd better be careful - we all met on a messies anonymous website. Statements like my house is back in shape and my list is complete could be grounds for expulsion. ;)

I finally paid 32 bucks to the library to get my card out of hock. My DD checked out some videos on it, then lost them. After 2 years of hassling her to pay the fines, I gave in. I forgot how wonderful libraries are. My half.com account is going to suffer. I'm reading Housekeeping right now, which has nothing to do with cleaning house or wrinkled laundry. I'm on the list for the Story of Lucy Gault . Anybody read them?

My list today: 1. Keep the washer and dryer running all day. 2. Put the belt back on the vacuum and vacuum entire house. 3. Sweep and mop kitchen floor. (What kind of new floor did you get, Sugar?)4. Hassle DD to clean bathroom tiles. 5. Go to bunco w/ friends!!!!!

Hello ladies.

I am sorry, I promise never to tell you my house is in shape or my lists are complete again...don't expel me from this forum.. I am really getting to like you guys...

I am on a seefood diet.. you know * I see food and I eat it*..
I try watching what I eat, but all I do is watch it go into my mouth and I never see it again...seriously I need to lose mucho
pounds but am striving for 50 to begin with...lost 40 6 yrs. ago, but darn them anyway they found me again. Must be from all that seefood I've been eating...:)

sugar what kind of flooring did you get? I hate to mop floors.. when we bought this house, it's an oldie but no goodie...we put cheap floor in the bathroom and kitchen,,, it shows everything and no matter how much I scrub it, it still don't look clean to me...
we refinished our dining room floor, had wooden floor when we bought it but we covered it up... I love it.. just needs a sweep and an occasional damp mop.. and looks good as new.... want the rest of the house to be that way....

Well, let me know if I can still be a member of your herd here..
later,,

Well, it's just plain old vinyl flooring, but a big change from the nasty tiles I had. They had started to chip and something was wrong with the grouting so it collected all kinds of goop. This floor looks like tiles but isn't and doesn't seem to show the dirt - yet. Only had it for 10 hours!

Monday begins Perfect 2009. Please stay tuned.
Dahlia, you are on probation. Watch it. Anymore remarks like that and we're going to make you read that obnoxious Dragonfly Lady every day. Honestly, how can you guys like her? She has a housekeeper, fGs, and NO KIDS. She has NOTHING to tell us except how to raise self-promotion to an art. And have you read her bio? She's a lifelong looney tune who just happens to have landed on her feet temporarily.
Did that sound cranky?
Naturally, it is the first sign that Perfect 2009 is within my grasp.
I think we should have a new thread for it, so I will not go into detail. Let me just say that this plan will wow even the most devout fat slobs in our midst.
Dahlia, years ago....I guess in '98 since '99 was the first year we failed at becoming perfect, Cherry promised to lead us all to perfection. She is our baby and she must have had energy, for in fact she did make many positive changes in her now (almost) perfect life. Sadly, the rest of us did not follow and we remain chunky and slovenly.
My life became very stressful. My brother, my folks and my husband's parents all became very sick, two passed away, so perfection wasn't within reach for a while. I tanked up but then took MOST of it off. Well, this holiday season, I've ballooned up again. SO I am starting Monday with my new plan. Of course, this weekend is jam-packed with stuffing myself on my one last binge before my new life starts.
Listen to this. My DH is the 6th grade boys basketball coach. He must go to every game and every practice. I have two other kids, so when they are doing that, I drive the other two around. Therefore, I rarely get to practice. This week, with DD's knee, I was free to stop by practice and to get to the game. One of those stupid parents admitted to me that all season long they have been gossiping about us, assuming we were split up. Can you imagine, first- having time to think about other people that much, then second, being stupid enough to tell them? DH was amused, but I'm cranky today so I was pi**ed.
Perfect 2009 will include elimination of coffee and sugar, daily stretching and long hard consideration of aerobic exercise every day. It will be a standard hypoglycemic diet. All the energy it gives me will cause my sty to perk up naturally.
OK?
Who's with me?
PS....Wabby, have you told me about Curves....expense, do you like it?

Dahlia
01-04-2003, 09:20 PM
ok Lush,, I have been warned... and shall try my best..... ok so how about telling me how old each of you are and info so I can get to know you better...

I live in Michigan, where are the rest of you at? Do you (meaning all of you) work outside the home and if so what do you do? How many chidren do you all have? You will learn I ask a lot of guestions.. I geniunely like to learn as much as I can about everyone....

As I"ve said before I have 5 sons. DH and I own and operate a commercial greenhouse. We've been in business for 33 yrs. He runs the production part of it, I run the business side... doing all the office work as well as actually working beside him in the greenhouses.. we started with 5 and now have 16.. having just added another one this past fall, we do both wholesale and retail... so being organized comes in handy, but I won't mention it again...:)

I am going to try to limit my portions and get in more exercises... and eat healthier... did anyone see Shallow Hal? it is a cute movie and more people should be hypnotized like Hal was... it taught a good lesson...as well as being entertaining..

Ok...later

I can't wade through all these posts!! Don't you people have anything better to do than write fascinating messages that I can't skip?

Thank you Brattie and Sugar and Wabbit and Cherry for the delightful Christmas cards!! I think I already thanked Bagz, but it deserves a 2nd thank you. I love them all. We just picked up the mail that was held while we were gone, so I got a whole bunch in one day. I also got my internet bra, and it looks brand new, so I'm going to wear it despite all the shudders I hear out there from you sensitive souls.

It's good to see you back Daphne and Dahlia, both. By the way, Dahlia, Perfect 2009 is the sequel to Perfect 1999, in which we were all going to be fit and beautiful and live perfect lives by the year 2000. We are of course all beautiful already, but the other two things are on hold until there are 29 hours in every day.

Lushie darling, I have been unsubscribing spammy types from SG for months now. I also changed some setting in there so that new members can't post without me seeing it first, so the group doesn't generally have to see any spam at all. I'm on several Yahoo groups, so it's no big deal.

Sorry to hear about DD's knee. My dd broke her ankle one winter and it cut her blooming basketball career short. Just kidding, she hated basketball, but it was a real pain for her what with ice and snow etc.

Well, I really thought my new year was going to get off to a flying start this Monday when DD and DH went back to school and work respectively. I mean I loved our vacation; it was a blast. But I was certainly looking forward to a little routine again. And I got my package of exercise DVDs which is going to remake me in 90 days, money back guaranteed :s: -- but here's the kicker: DH's company was shut down for 2 weeks due to lack of orders, lack of money and generally lackingness, and they are supposed to start up on the 6th. However, due to their general lackingness, they have requested that DH's whole department take another week of vacation or no pay and stay home. Referring to them as "non-essential personnel". Doesn't that sound ominous? I mean if they are really non-essential, why would they ever want them back? It is worrisome, but mostly I have to put up with DH hanging around for the week  Of course he is not ignorant of the fact that his hanging around home for a week is going to drive me up the wall, so he is planning to spend the week shopping for my new (used) car. This, as you may know, is only right because he is the one who totalled it.

Anyway, on Monday I am still planning to start my new exercise tapes. Right after DH leaves on his car-shopping expedition.

No, Sugar, I agree with Wabbit. The in-laws aren't trying to annoy you, they are trying to drive you stark raving mad. Or perhaps they are the ones who are mad. Hope the turkey is good anyway :chicken: :burger:

See yas.

I loved Shallow Hal, it was sweet.

To answer your questions (you ask a lot of questions for someone from New Jersey... R. Rosannadanna), I live in the wilds of northern Maine, not on the coast, not near a city of any size, just outside a paper mill town. I haven't had a job other than mommy since 1986 when I got laid off by the paper mill as a wedding present. I only have one child, a daughter 14, who is gorgeous and smart (just ask me), one husband, 2 cats and I still think I have a dog, but she died in October. All my real life friends have moved away from this dying town I live in and my family mostly lives in N.C. So it's really nice to have people here to talk to every day or so.

I am definitely not cutting out coffee or sugar, Lush, but I'd be willing to stretch and contemplate aerobics. Can I be perfect too?

Oh yeah, Dahlia, I live near Bagz, only in a different country!! How much snow did we get, Bagz? I haven't looked outside yet.

My plan is to bust my :censored: with these new exercise tapes, eat lots of healthy food but try to skip the chips, crackers and mass quantities of cheese, drink gallons upon gallons of water and go to bed 3 hours after my last meal or snack of the day. Oh, that's not quite right, is it -- if I have a snack right now I'll have to stay up till 3:30. :dizzy:

Hi everyone,

Kiwi, I grew up living next door to a paper factory. The town that one is in is not to prosperous either,,I moved away when I got married, not to far, 30 miles, but far enough, this little town is growing all the time.

I'd love to see pictures of your gardens.... :dizzy: what do you do in your small greenhouses? How small are they? Ours cover over 50,000 sq. feet, are all under plastic and by the end of April will all be filled to the brim.. we already have some filling up. We do bedding plants and containers, baskets etc. Like I said we sell both wholesale and retail, and no we don't have a webpage..
We just enlarged our retail center, put up another greenhouse and turned a few others around to accomodate the customers better... will be fun getting it organized for spring opening. Am thinking about having an opening party to let everyone know about the addition...they love it... and it usually draws a lot of new people too..

well, enough about me... I get caught up in my work.. so
you'd think I'd be to busy to eat wouldn't you... :^:

Hi to everyone... hope more of you answer like kiwi did..

Dahlia

went into the forum's chat last night, met a nice bunch of ladies from some other forums.. never even knew we had a chat..would be nice to meet some of you gals in there for a real chat.. we should set up a day and time to try to meet there...

I'm trying to think of a nice way to say this. ...... I can't think of one. Here it goes:

I am more open-minded and tolerant than most cows and I always welcome any new interesting people to join in the conversations here. However, I feel that questions that are personal are just personal. To be specific, I was a bit put off by comments the other day about parents of a certain age since ... as most cows know ... my arches had fallen and I was reminiscing about the good old days when our favorite toy was a wooden rooster on a stick that we ran around the yard waving happily ... when ds was born.

So I am not putting my age, sex, location on any computer screen without a long courtship. I do not bond easily. I am too old and suspicious.

Anyone who reports this to 3FC and gets me fussed at AGAIN is in you-know-what.

I am a little miffed at Kiwi. How rude of her to mention TWICE that chips will have to be eliminated when I am eating chips RIGHT THIS MINUTE(with ham salad for dip.) Better yet, I am eating the REALLY good chips that are fried in lard, no healthy fats for me today.
The only reason I forgive her is because she is being so sweet aboutSystem Goddess (http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Woods/8441/index.html) I notice upon checking the website that she isn't even mentioned. Shame. Peaches, Cherry, Claudia and Enigma Blast are mentioned. I would fix this, but I don't know the password to do such things.
I have to do stuff today. I'm taking my poor gimpy DD to the movies with my poor gimpy mother. I need to get off the computer.
Kiwi, please inform on your tapes. Bagzie I agree with you about corn and bananas. I feel the same way about potatoes and brown rice. Tomorrow is the day....who's ready!!!!!!!!
PS. Can I report Sissy for remarking upon us being mothers of a certain age? True, she is the MUCH older sister, but this information could lead potential stalkers to ME, the youthful one.

True, Lushella, but I look younger because I eat brown rice. Please answer my email. I am so accustomed to being bossed around by you that I don't know what direction to go in my life right now.

Well, that's what I get for not reading each and every FlyLady testy-monial in detail. You are so clever, Peachy! Went to take a look and found there have actually been a couple of books released close to where we live. Not the one you want to read though:( . What a novel concept.

Peachy, someone fussed at YOU? I can't believe it.

For Dahlia: 39; former resident of Canada; in Germany since 1990 due to loooooooove;2 boys,; don't work outside the home and don't work *in* the home unless it's absolutely necessary;no greenhouse.

In a matter of minutes I am going to start my weight routine as featured in a November 1998 issue of Canadian Living magazine. Some chick wrote to them and said it changed her friend's life. Probably because she actually did it. Will be contemplating aerobic activity very hard this week.

Did I really mention not eating chips twice? Of course I didn't mean you, Lush darling. You are entitled to all the chips your little heart desires. After all, you are planning to give up coffee and sugar. That is a level of sacrifice that I can only aspire to in my most remote dreams. Oh and I think if you eat chips with a dip that has been homemade, they cancel each other out, don't they?

WOW, PEACHES, that is one amazing concept, that bookcrossing thing! I've seen a site where they do that with dollar bills (Where's George?) but this is actually useful as well as fun! I have some books that need doing that to. Good books, but everybody I know has read them. Would you mind if I "released" that App. Trail book with the bear on the front? I tried to give it to people I know, but they are either not interested or have read it. If you prefer I can return it to you. It was very useful to me; I never have to wonder if I want to hike the Appalachian Trail now.

I'm starting my new eating program this evening, when I have my last meal before surgery tommorrow at 6!!!! am. When I wake up from the anesthesia, it will be as if waking from a bad dream. A dream in which I have struggled all my life with a weight problem. When I come to, I will have an altered mental state, in which I am in total control of my eating, in which I love to exercise, in which I actually dislike chocolate and fatty foods. But geez, Lush, I can't give up coffee!!!

Dahlia, don't mind Peaches. She gets that way sometimes. I don't mind telling you all about my totally boring life. 47. married. 2 kids, dd 22, ds 19. still at home. Work alongside DH in our construction related business (I don't actually construct anything, just the books and paychecks, etc.) live in Oregon. hobby greenhouse. thats about it. I want to see pictures of your growing operation. Commercial greenhouse production is big business in Oregon, but it is hard work!!!! How many ppl do you have helping you?

I like Shallow Hal, if only to see that Gwenneth Paltrow w/ some meat on her skinny bones.

See you lovely cows in a few days, the one good thing about surgery is that I've arranged for a girl to work in the office for me for 2 weeks! I get a surgical vacation!!!!I'll keep DH's notebook puter w/ me so I can check in. See yas.

ps I won $20 at bunco last night!!! wooo-hoo for me!!!!!

Oh, man, Wabby! Forgot all about your Epiphany surgery. I'm sure you'll breeze through it, then you can throw away all your old bras and go shopping! Woo hoo!

Did my weight routine. How long does it take to look buff?

Lunch at ILs was as usual. FIL wants to buy us a dog, BUT he also wants to tell us what kind of dog to get. I told him German Shepards are OUT (sorry to all German Shepard lovers out there, but we don't have room for such a big one). So what kind should we get?? Any suggestions? I have experience with poodles, huskeys and dachshunds (is that really how you spell that?). Dh likes the beagle a few doors down but I told him they're pretty ornery sometimes. Nothing that slobbers too much. I like Jack Russel Terriers but have heard that they are stubborn as mules and only do what they want. Isn't Bugsy (bless his little heart and has anyone heard from Frappe?) one of those?

There's been a lot of flooding lately. Last time it happened, water rushed in from the street into the ILs basement (also shared by other apartment block dwellers) and everything got wet, so FIL says to dh "We want you to build a low wall in front of the basement door so the water can't get in next time." Fine, wall was built with cement and stones. More flooding this week. This time it was ground water that came up through the basement floor. FIL says, "We could have swept the water out with a broom, but that wall was in the way!". I think you guys are right about them trying to drive us slowly insane.

Turkey was dry.

I think Wabby's is having gall bladder surgery. What does this have to do with a bra?

Kiwi ... feel free to release. I've released a few and on the last one I took the advice of the website and put a sticky note on the outside saying "Free Book. Look Inside." That one worked. The person who picked it up posted that she'd found it.

The site also lets you mail books to people. *hint* *hint* What do you have??????

Dahlia, since you have such a nice yard I'll be nice so everyone can talk about gardening. Life is stressful enough for me without getting onto my favorite site and reading that moms who have their babies when they're older and in some way not as good. We need to go to a sensitivity workshop together. You fall back and I'll catch you.

BTW, Lushina, by the time you were born, toys were made of painted tin and you never had a wooden rooster on a stick of your own. You were SO JEALOUS of mine. Get over it. Mom also said you were petty.

Silly me! Of course it's the gall bladder surgery and not the breast reduction. That comes later. Wabby's going to be the most perfect of us all.

Bummer about the mill, Kiwi. Hope things improve there SOON. Doesn't your dh have seniority?

That's what those are, right, Wabster? How much weight can you lose with a gall bladder op? Here's a hospital diet tip: don't eat the food that smells gross. Or looks gross. Good luck with surgery in any case. We'll be thinking of you at 6 am. Well, at some point...

Yeah, Sug, DH has plenty of seniority, but it doesn't matter if they shut down. Right now he is obsessing about my new car to avoid obsessing about the mill. I wish I could get him to obsess about improving/rebuilding our house. Suggestions welcome.

You know, having babies later is becoming the norm for a lot of people. When I was a young teenager in the late 60s, I had a couple of friends whose parents were "old" and I thought it sounded kind of lonely and grim. Then my mother got pregnant, at the age of 39 -- that was certainly considered a bit old to have a baby in 1968. My first reaction was embarrassment and annoyance, but my best friend was so enamored with the idea that I had to consider the possibility that it wasn't so bad. She would come over every morning before school and feed my sister her baby cereal when she was old enough. My sister certainly didn't suffer much from having older parents. These days I don't think 39 is at all old to have a baby. It's a matter of health and preparedness. Also a matter of where you live. Around here in Podunk, most kids DD's age (14) have parents no older than 40, but the people I actually associate with are closer to my age (47), so not only do I not care, neither does DD seem to. Certainly no one would claim that 32 was old to have a baby, but I am in the minority. I would hope my dd would wait until after 30 to have kids, unless it is something she really really wants at a younger age. Maturity has more benefits than youth when it comes to parenting, I think.

Ah well, enough rantaciousness. :flame: away folks.

Hello everyone,

ok. Wabby thanks for the info.

Since we are using funny names, and yet we are chatting with each other daily almost, and in some cases life long friendships evolve, I see no problem with giving certain bits of information....but if anyone in here doesn't feel like they want to share, then just DON"T....it's your choice.
It's not like I'm asking for your address or phone number... heck I don't even know any of your real names... and most states, countries etc. are so big that just knowing a general area where someone lives isn't going to have anyone knocking at your door.

SugP, thank you for the info also. As for your in-laws,, it sounds like a movie..:) as for the dogs.... all dogs are nice, I am a dog person.. the only kind we have had outside of one,, have been beagles..we currently have two of them. A male and a female.
We love beagles, they are so loving and sweet, and even tempered... any kind of dog can be grouchy and mean if they are trained that way, or mean treated... but even dobermen and
pit bulls have been known to be good pets if trained right. Over the years we have had 22 dogs in our household... and all beagles but the one.

Ok, Peaches....I don't think I"ll trust you to catch me.. As for older mothers,, I was speaking from the experience of being the product of older parents.. I admit my situation was a bit odd. Look at Kathy Lee Gifford and many other older mothers,, their children are having a terrific childhood, course they have enough money and help.. but anyway, I didn't mean to imply it is bad for everyone... after all look how great I turned out :D ...just to explain a little further when I was born my mom was 40, my dad was 62, I was the 10th child....so my folks were worn out and needless to say my childhood was very different then all my friends.... not to mention they used to ask me if I lived with my grandparents.. so I vowed that I would never do that to a child....
In the future if I say something you don't agree with, just skip my posts and ignore it... FYI I was 32 when I had my youngest child, he was #5...I do not consider that old either.... I am talking about women in their 40's... how old were you when you had your baby, anyway?

Wabby, in answer to your question, we have 8-10 people working with us. and Good luck with your surgery,,, are you having the lazer type.. if so, I hear that goes fast and you'll be back up and going real soon... enjoy your convalencing, let the family take care of you... :)

Ok. well I hope I didn't offend anyone...

Look at it this way, when Sissy was born, Mom was young and inexperienced. Sissy bears the scars from having such a young mother to this day. I, on the other hand, had a mother "of a certain age." It is evidenced in my reasoned approach to life and my strong sense of self. I was the pretty one, but since Sissy was stacked, so she got excessive attention, of the wrong kind.
Here is what I ate today:
Breakfast
Ham salad made with 1/2 lb of ham and 1/4 cup mayo and relish
Potato chips made with Lard

Lunch
Appetizer sampler platter...mostly deep fried
caesar salad

Dinner
two pieces of banana bread.
The rest of the bag of chips.

Evening snack.
Chicken alfredo made with heavy cream and locatelli cheese

I will post my reasons for losing the coffee and the sugar tomorrow. I don't want to harsh my food sedation.
I'm going to go post my reply to emails.

Wabby, Good luck tomorrow. Are there adequate people to take care of you???? Do NOT check in a work. I mean it.

Dear Lush, what a great diet. You must be the reason I ate all the leftovers after dinner and then had Doritos with salsa later on. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
