Me first, I guess.

For the past two days, I have been deliberately sitting down at my diningroom table and working on a great jigsaw puzzle. (Thanks to LindaBC, my secret Santa on another website.) :)

I have my cup of herb tea, Harry is in charge of the dog and knows not to interrupt. This usually turns into a half hour but is worth it.

Next?

If my simple (and cheap) gift is helping your wrist healing process, then I'm very happy.
I have many, many 15 minutes of ME time just about every day. Lazy slug that I am, I usually spend them either working the big NY Times Saturday crossword puzzle, reading a book, playing Scrabble or Canasta on the computer or just vegging out. Some of our Chicks sure put me to shame in the energy and accomplishments categories.

coming here!

a bath sounds good but I'd need to scrub the tub and that is definitely not on the schedule!

I guess I'll go find a good book...

I am a found person. By this I mean I put myself first. I know that sounds selfish but that is a long story. I love me the most. I only do what I want, when I want . I have a wonderful family that I make this clear to. My bestest me time is my God time, is my computer time, oh I have so many.
I have friends that call me spoiled, but I deserve it, haha.

Aaahh, see this is the reason I am working on the wekends now--I get 12 hours of me time every single minute and get paid to do it! I read my books, do my crosswords, If I had a computer, I'd be playing Scrabble!

Until recently, I never really bothered......last week I took off for about 3 hours shopping....had poor hubby worried sick. I had never done that to him before. He made me take his cell phone the next night!
and.....Ive taken over the rocking chair :) any time in the rocking chair is me time. Its just so relaxing!

My "me" time took over this weekend. I do geneaology and I bought myself a new version of Family Tree Maker and spent 12 hours straight (minus potty breaks) on the computer tracking DH's family tree. I also worked on a tree for a friend. I'd work on my own tree, but my Mom's already done it all.
