It's that time again, time to set your monthly exercise goals. Whether you're just starting out and getting a few minutes a day in or are an experienced exerciser going for the big numbers this is the place to be accountable and support other South Beach exercisers.

If you need a little extra incentive tank top & bathing suit season is just around the corner here in the Northern hemisphere. Are you ready? So come on in and join the challenge!



Hmm, it's the end of the legislative session so crazy, busy month but the weather will be improving so more small walks. I'm going to aim for 1200 minutes, that's only 40 minutes a day. I want to get back to exercising every day, even if it's only 15 minutes.

I'm almost there! Been hitting big fitness goals and am just trying to tone tone tone!

Goal is at least 60 min. in the gym, 5x per week - 3 of those days have to include at least 20 min. of strength training. Also would like to include running at least 40 miles this month

Trying again for my hour a day. I think things are back on track for me so I think it's doable ...

Walking, yoga, additional strength-training, some Couch to 5K... the usual.

UPDATE: Gonna start fresh April 16. I've been exercising, not enough for sure, but I haven't been tracking it...

I'm literally just starting out, today will be day 3 for walking for me. I could def use the support here. Because of life (children, work ect..) my goal is 45 min at least 4 days a week. :D

Barely made my March goal of 1,000 minutes and there is one less day in April but I need the exercise so will up my goal to 1,100 minutes for this month. May the force be with me!

Goal = 1,100
Actual = 781

1 - 45 Worked in yard weedeating, raking, picking up and hauling leaves for about two hours. Claiming 45 minutes cause I take a few breaks :).
2 - 45 walking
3 - 45 walking remembering my mom on her bd...miss her.
4 - 47 walking
5 - 45 I have to be walking faster because I going further in the same amount of time. Guess that's a good thing.
6 -120 walked nonstop around the outside (front and back) of the shopping center which took an hour, then spent 3 more hours shopping most of which was nonstop. My feet are talking to me!
7 - 55 walking
8 - walking and the pair of honkers are back! Hoping they will decide to nest on the island in our pond.
9 - 0 - won't be walking for a while cause I fell last night and sprained my ankle :(.
10 - 0 - ankle is a bit better so hope it won't be long.
11 - 15 - testing out sprained ankle.
12 - 45 walking and 30 lifting, hauling and dumping rocks.
13 - 0 - raining and just didn't feel up to exercising today.

Can't do much but need to do some everyday.
We have 3 long halls in this building.. some figured that walking all 3 halls 3 times is a mile. One time is all I can handle right now.
I can't start till tomorrow as I have to get ready for church. For now my goal is walk all halls once a day.

4: Walked all 3 halls. 1st time in a long time.
5: Did my walking again today
6: Boy did I do my walking today! I had to hand out some flying today in the building..all 3 hall then the elevator went out so had to walk 2 hall & go down a flight of steps WHEW!
7: walked at least equal to the 3 halls.. probably more.
