Ok..ok...so I may be "Johnny come lately" here...but I just discovered the most delishous accompanyment to any dish...SALSA! I had some roma tomatoes in the frig that I didn't want to spoil, some cilantro that was only days aways from wilting and thought..."hmmm...what can make with all of these ingredients?" The answer...SALSA!!! It was so simple to make. I just used about 10 roma tomatoes, small onion, 1 clove of garlic, juice of 1 lime, 2 green chili peppers and 1/2 tsp salt. Put in my chopper and VIOLA...instant goodness!
I use it on every meal and it seems to kick it up a notch!
I can't believe it took me this long to discover my love of salsa. I thought I hated it, cuz the only salsa I've ever tried came in a jar and I thought it was gross!
Didn't realize that homemade salsa is sooooo much better with an entirely different taste.
