Default Less Jiggly by July 4th

lol i couldn't come up with a better title. anyways i was thinking that i need some long term motivation to keep me on the wagon and so i was thinking a 4th of july challenge so my goal is to be in the 140's by july 4th i think thats doable about 10 pounds a month! anybody else up for a challenge! i have no idea how to start a spreadsheet but if anybody else does that would be fabulous if we could keep track of progress by week.

March 18-July 4th = about 3.5 months. Sounds like a good period of time to be setting some medium-term goals!

I want to emphasize all aspects of living a healthy life, so I want to set some fitness goals as well as weight loss

GOAL 1: Do the 30 Day Shred twice.

GOAL 2: Start swimming 4x/wk.

GOAL 3: Finish C25K and bring my 1.5 miles down below 16 minutes.

GOAL 4: Size 8 pants. (I'm almost fitting a 12 right now.)

GOAL 5: 25 lb loss. (I'm holdin steady at 165 currently. Haven't weighed below 145 since puberty!!)

I'm feeling this! Attacking from all sides, one bite at a time, is going to make me hot! Thanks for making this thread!

Making a spreadsheet's not so hard. Open Microsoft Excel, click and drag the columns and rows to be where you want them, and start typing! You don't need to know any equations, just fill in the boxes. Play with the font and colors to spruce it up

Hi, jackiedavis87. I am on board with you. I have been in a bit of a slump and I want to at least get 20 pounds if not 30 gone by summer. So I think if we stick together we might just do it...... I have an idea for a spreadsheet of sorts, just keep track of measurements and weight, shouldn't be that tough, LOL. What kind of a program are you on for exercise and do you use a food diet................

I'd love to be in the 180s by summer. I'm totally on board with this. I need the motivation to get out of the slump I've been in for the last 2 weeks or so.

I'll jump in too. I'd love to think that I could be down to 174 by then, because then I would no longer be obese. However, that may be a stretch. So, I think the 180's would be more realistic. But then again, anything's possible, right?

I know when I was ~195 (my high weight) I couldn't bear to think of exposing my legs in public

But with the weight loss, baring those shoulders is going to feel sexy and liberating! Woo hoo!

Okay, first off, LOVE the title...

And second, I'm so in.

I nanny during the summers and this summer, I want to be the hot nanny! I want to be wearing shorts at the playground. I don't want to be the gross nanny who cannot play with the kids because she tires out too quickly.

So that's about 3.5 months away, as someone pointed out. I think I could do 30 pounds. I have been consistently losing 2 pounds per week - I think my goal will be to keep that up. 165 by July 1st? Oh god... I would die! I cannot ever remember being 165. I literally went from 137.5 to like 190 during my parents' divorce when I was 13. So... I guess the last time I was down that low was probably when I was 13 or 14. Ah! That would be crazy! Oh and I would no longer be obese! (I'm not longer obese at 169 pounds). YAHOOO!

Let's do it, ladies!

By July 4, I WILL be (at least) 155! (down 13 lbs)

-Gym 4 times a week, 30 minutes cardio, w/ strength training
-1250 Calories a day
-One cheat meat per week
-0 binges so far, and I plan to keep it that way

Thenewjan- 'im doing the 30 day shred right now just started i'm on day 2 i've done it before but never made it through but i plan on it this time i'm also sorta counting calories and i try to keep my sugar and fat contents real low lots of veggies!

I would really like to be 165 by July 4. That will be 9 lbs under the max healthy weight. Plus, I'm getting my tatas done in August so that may take care of that added weight. haha. I can't wait! I'm sad to be graduating but excited to take the next jump forward in life. 3 more years of school. yayay. Haha. Really also like the title of this. Having body comp taken on Monday morning so will adjust goals to focus on that as well.

I would love to be at my goal weight (120) and maintaining by July 4th. I'm about 12 lbs. away so it sounds doable, but the weight is coming off slowly now.

My original goal when I had my weight loss epiphany was 50 pounds in 6 months. That means that by July 27th I would need to be 162. Ill say I wll be in the 160s by July 4th. Holy smokes, Ill be in the 160s by July! AHH!

Wow, we really have a lot on board now, LOL. And oopsie, I just noticed this thread is in the 20 Somethings.....I am totally in the wrong group, . So I am going to keep with my chalean Extreme and add Tae Bo and my Cardio on the rest days and swap out the cardio days of CE with them also. Plus I do my elliptical in the mornings........................should be a breeze.....and I am very determined, want to look great for belly dancing...............

I would love to do this. My CW is 149.6 and I hope to get down to 140 if not less by the end of the Easter Challenge. So hopefully I can get down to 130, if not 125 by July 4th.
