Twas the week before Christmas...and all through my house...there were no goodies for even a mouse :) unless the mouse loves MRPs, eggwhites, chicken breasts and brown rice that is...
Well I DID bake cookies this weekend for the Kramer Barn Party which was a blast (wanted to bake horse treats too but didn't get a chance to go to the feed store to pick up the ingredients - no problem - we brought lots of carrots and apples for them! Thank goodness the party was on a Free Day - the goodies abounded!
Speaking of horse stuff, I posted the photos from last week's horse show FINALLY. I have some at L&S Playspace and also in my Yahoo photo album if you care to take a peek ==> http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/kcanzoneri/lst?.dir=/Ranchotel+Dec+02&.view=t
We have been having the WORST storms here over the weekend. The creek that runs next to our place is VERY flooded - I haven't seen it this high since El Nino, about 5 years ago. I'm glad I'm not in the insurance claims business anymore, because I would be even busier than I am now...
SO I did my 'new' workout today - after some thought I decided to keep legs in one day for now, and moved leg day from Tuesday to Monday (main reason being is that on Tuesdays there are two other gals who ALWAYS do legs on Tuesday...and I have to wait for them to finish on the squat rack and leg press). I'm already feeling good and sore - if you see my workout in my Member Journal, you'll know why. It was definitely a Glutamine Morning!
Mel - I look forward to receiving your PM (I know that the week before Christmas is generally a nutty time).
GRR. I got an email from Labrada and got all excited this morning - if I order from them today, I can get a big 40% off any online or telephone order...so of course I was thinking about the GetLean book/kit...then I read the itty bitty fine print on the bottom of the email:
"Discount excludes Get Lean Kit and all Keith Klein related products."
Is that maddening or WHAT?? sheesh...

OSC, it DOES feel good to follow through! It is so good to wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and know in your heart that you are looking slimmer and more muscular. The past couple of weeks I find myself getting up extra early w/ my training on my mind. Every night before I go to sleep I visualize the next days workout. It is so hard to believe that there are only 3 more workouts to go in this challenge. I will continue to do BFL by the book in my second challenge. I think it will be a while before I need to switch.
Karen, my house is free of christmas goodies as well. I'll attend only one party this year due to everyone deciding to give parties on the same night in my circle, will have to miss the one that includes friends from work. That'll be on Sat. night, the first day of free week and I'll be ready to blow off some steam. It is also the first day of christmas break from my job.

ledom..is it very exciting...i am not seeing major results but i have lost inches...and i can feel more muscles and do more sit up and push ups then i have ever done. so i know that it is working. I am going to do a second challenge about a week or two after i finish the first. I am actually afraid of losing the structure of eating..i really love it. i thrive on structure..so its a really great plan for me. if you told me 6 months ago that i would have made it this far i would have laughed in your face...i can't wait..so i am pretty excited.
I wish i could shake this cold...i am really not sure if going to the gym is something i can do today...i am pretty sure i have a chest infection and today is a cardio day....i may just go to the gym on my day off....i am not sure..i just know that i feel really terrible. oh well..
hope everyone else is doing well..

OSC - definitely give up the gym if you are ill. I was sick the other week and had to lay off the workouts, and I came back stronger. I have alway heard that you shouldn't workout if you have a systemic illness. I hope you start feeling better.
Ledom - good idea with the visualizing. I'm done too this week with my challange, but I'm going to take a leaf out of your book for my next challange.
I went to my babysitting coop meeting last night and managed to avoid the cheesecake covered in strawberry sauce!!! Hurray!!!! I also managed not to make a huge social gaaf when asked if anything was new? I didn't say, "well yes, as a matter of fact, I've lost 25 pounds, 3.5 inches off my waist and 2 inches off my hips and NOT ONE friend has noticed!!!!!" I just made polite conversation and continued with my christmas craft. Sigh ...
Just over a week to go 'til Christmas. The children are whipping themselves up into a frenzie. I am informed every morning, by my 8 y/o, just exactly how many days are left 'til Christmas!

Hey y'all - my legs are STILL SORE but it's a good sore :strong: Don't you love it when you change your splits and exercises?
Today's latest holiday challenge for me is the COMPANY HOLIDAY BRUNCH. There will be free food flowing all morning and part of the afternoon for all the employees - a baccanalia of eggs, sausage, bagels, pancakes, yogurt, OJ, coffee, pastries, cake, cookies, and Lord only knows what else. I'm on the NINTH Floor and I can smell the food wafting from the elevator shaft :dizzy: I brought my food today (thank goodness) but I will be venturing down to load up on plenty of bottled water, which they are also handing out gratis (still spring water and Calistoga sparkling).
I still have to buy prezzies for my coworkers - I'll probably just go to See's and get candy. I know, not healthy buy at least it's a no-brainer...
JC - sent ya a PM just now :) OH I forgot - they don't have the little journal button anymore - so let me get ya the link to mine.
Ledom - you're doing quite well! :) OH and I saw your post at the Diet Plans about the grams and stuff. The way I've always figured it is 1 gram per pound of bodyweight for both protein and carbs (not counting veggies). So let's say you weigh 150, that would be 150 grams each divided by 6 meals per day = 25 grams of protein and carbs per meal, plus add some fat to equal 20-30% of calories per day (that's HEALTHY fat BTW). Veggies I don't even bother counting because I have a hard enough time getting them all in as it is :( not being the veggie lover of the century or anything like that! Actually if you check L&S today, there was a pretty good thread about portion sizes. Palm/Fist works most of the time, but for stuff like eggwhites or cottage cheese it's lacking a bit :)
Gotta run - yet another meeting to go to!

Sorry I've been MIA- work is overwhelming, Christmas is overwhelming (just thinking about it- haven't done a darn thing yet!) and children are overwhelming. Eating has been a bit sloppy but after getting on the scale and verifying what the pants are telling me, that's changing.
Just wanted to say hi!
JC- Enjoy your books! Maybe I should reread them too.
Ledom- Yahoo! You're almost through C1. Congratulations, it's a huge accomplishment.
OSC- Sound like your doing great, too. Hope you feel better. I usually work out unless I have a fever or a migraine. Except running. I don't run if my lungs feel involved at all. It just really slows the recovery process for me.

Patt, your children sound precious. I enjoy your stories about them. And how cool is it to be missing your two front teeth a christmas time? What a wonderful bunch of teasing your D must be enjoying. I know Christmas must be fun at your house. And on the noticing, I think it is my closer friends who are most witholding on those compliments. Maybe they have just been through too many diets with me before. They just don't understand yet what I have discovered in BFL. I know YOU are enjoying the results of your efforts and that is the only truly important thing. And woohoo - 25 lbs., way to go!
Karen, thanks for your information on grams. I'll pass it along.
I guess I'll save my state of the diet address until I actually complete this week but it is true what they say. The last 2 weeks are the best in terms of results.
Mel, don't work too hard. Save some energy for you. Hope you are enjoying those books JC.

LEDOM!!! :( I am so sorry - I read about your Precious Kitty on the other thread in Diet Plans...poor thing...
I've posted this before but for your sake, wanted to post this again - I hope it makes you feel a little better...
Rainbow Bridge (from the True Innocents Equine Rescue site www.tierrescue.org)
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our
special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our
friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing:
they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes
when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group,
flying over the green grass, faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face;
your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into those trusting eyes,
so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

JC - Ledom also posts on the Prevention Millenium Diet thread and that's where I found out about her kitty. :(
OH wanted to give you the info on the special GetLean price. To get the 'special' price ($60 vs. $80) you need to be a member of the Lean Body Coaching Club. Basically that means you go to the Labrada Site and 'join' the club. It doesn't cost anything - you just get a weekly email from Labrada - sometimes there's even good info in there. But that's how you get the discount on GetLean (although I still can't get myself to pay $60...now if it was $30 I'd have bought it in a minute!).
Virginia - this is a TOUGH TIME of year. Just take it one day - one meal - at a time. MY toughest time is at night after work. I really have to fight the urge to eat! Ultimately what I have had to do is not log into the Internet after 7 pm - our home office is in the breakfast nook of our kitchen...too darn close to the fridge, but the only place we can fit it.
Well I managed to survive the company pigfest yesterday...still drinking the bottled water that I grabbed though :) but now in our kitchen is a ton of food...one of our other departments on this floor has an annual potluck lunch and all the leftover stuff is in there now. AACKK! Stay away...back, Satan!!!

thanks for your comforting words. Yes, JC, it has been a sad day in my house - we lost one of our cats to ... who knows. I found him today after he'd been missing for 5 days. I am so sorry that RM didn't come home.
We had to put down our rescue Golden in the summer. We had him for only two years (rescued as a senior). And man! he was the best dog they ever made. We tried to save him with leg amputation surgery, but the cancer had spread too much so...... a very difficult decision. I have never cried so much. We had Murray cremated; his urn is on a shelf. We wanted to bury him in the shade hole he dug for himself in the yard, but we are renters. I miss him still.
You and Dd must be really hurting now, and nothing I can say will ameliorate that, but, it is as it should be. I am sorry that your last memory of RM was probably not a pleasant one, but I think it is a good thing that you, at least, have closure.
Please know that my thoughts are with you.

Ledom- Let me add my condolences, too. We lost our Burmese cat (another rescue sweetie) about 6 weeks ago, suddenly. I still think I see her around corners in the house, and miss her purring next to me. I'm so sorry for you. My dog is still looking for her. It is so hard to lose a pet.
OSC- Hang tough! This is such a stressful time of year, getting sick doesn't help either. I'm finding that the gym is what's keeping me sane.
Karen- Stay away from that hoard of temptation in yur house! You REALLY don't want it! I know I wish I had. Now fighting last week's 3 pound gain, and it sure wasn't muscle. The pans-o-meter doesn't lie.
I found out yesterday that I've been given a mandatory 3 week vacation. So life is a little less stressful as of tis morning, except for the fact that I had counted on being paid!!!! The funniest thing was that after my boss told me, she seriously asked if it would have any impact on when my current project would be done. Since I was planning on working except for Christmas and Boxing Day (day after Christmas) and my deadline for rolling out the new web-site was 1/15, I think there's gonna be an impact. I went to the gym right after, and was talking to the head trainer about it- he told me if I got certified, he needs to hire new trainer around March and I should think about it. He has no "older women" (as he politely put it) trainers and thinks he's missing a big chunk of business with 40-60 yr old women who are intimidated by male bodybuilders or cute 22year old girls who don't relate well at all. I'm seriously thinking about this and looking at various cert. programs.
OK- gotta go do a run and abs! mel

I appreciate your kind thoughts. It is amazing how our pets become such an important part of our lives. Their companionship, their quirky personalities become such an important part of every day. I so understand how all of you feel about your "babies".
Well, here is a story. You know, tomorrow is my last day of the 12 wk challenge? I went to buy groceries yesterday and without really thinking about what I would be able to eat after tomorrow w/ a free concience I stocked up w/ 6 cartons of CC. Couldn't pass up the sale (2 for $3), but truthfully I wasn't even thinking about eating any other way. Well, that isn't really true, when I passed the pistachios and banana chips I thought to myself, that will be my treat food this week. It just struck me this morning, hey I have all this CC and that is a good thing.
OSC, so sorry you are under the weather. Try not to worry too much about what you "ought" to be doing and just get well.
Virginia, hang in there, you can do it.
Mel, now that sounds like an opportunity that you would be great at. Sounds as if you have a good attitude about things too, but jeeze louise w/ that supervisor. Give me a break!

What a nasty week or actually 2 weeks! UG. Husband's schedule got changed last minute (co-worker got kicked by a horse and broke his hip! Yowch!) so Mike had to go into work on his vacation which means every single business meeting I had scheduled had to be changed. No one wants to reschedule next week (Christmas) or the week after (New Years), so I have to wait until the New Year. Needless to say, I am getting nothing done for the next few weeks. HEY! This is a great time to get caught up on laundry, cleaning the house, cleaning car, laundry, and did I mention laundry! :dizzy: :dizzy:
I actually have been really stressed about all these last minute changes, so I have been eating not so very clean! But, just writing this had made me more relaxed about the whole thing. Thanks, you guys are great! :D
Ledom - So very very sorry about your kitty. They do become part of the family and it's so hard when they're gone. After my big ol lug of a cat died, I used to feel him jump on the bed just like always.
You sound very excited about your workouts - that's great. Waking up ready to go and visualizing the workout is wonderful. It's nice to have something to look forward to!
Virginia - Now about that a$$ kicking you asked for! What is going on? Ya didn't give any details. Work stress getting to ya? Just take it one day or even hour at a time. Think about your goals and your "why" for doing this. Hate to sound "new age-y" but be good to yourself. Eating everything in site is harmful to your body as well as your mind! :)
OSC - rest rest rest rest rest. Truly, you will come back stronger if you just rest. Your body is telling you something (rest) listen! :D Hope you feel better.
Patt - So, these ladies that haven't noticed, eh? Maybe when ya show up this summer in a cute little pair of shorts and a daring top they will! :s: You noticed, right!? I know it feels great when someone else says something - it's validation for all your hard work. Keep it up. And about your 8 YO counting the days til Christmas - how funny! They just love it, don't they! Mine tells me everyday how many days until her birthday - it's the 29th, and she's been bellowing since November!
Mel - Trainer huh? Sounds great! You'd be good at it. Just from reading your posts. Go for it! Show those "younger " women how it's done.
Karen - can you tell me a little about your cardio routine, please? If I read it right, you do it everyday? I could have read it wrong, it was late! Glad you hear your party went well. Loved the pics from the show last weekend.
Hope I didn't forget anyone! Have a great day. Going to hit the gym hard in a few! :D

Good morning everyone! Just looking out my office window at the storm comin' our way. Gotta love El Nino - NOT! As it turns out, I have a riding lesson after work...in the lighted, covered arena that is. Still gonna be COLD though...
Mel - actually I should have clarified - it's not in my PERSONAL kitchen - but it's in the office kitchen close to my desk. Actually it's history now - I came in this morning and there were still brownies and fudge sitting on the counter (had been sitting there ALL NIGHT LONG) and I tossed 'em. Heck, no one needs that crap around here, least of all yours truly :)
And you would be AWESOME as a trainer! Though I agree with you - it's so difficult to figure out what the 'best' certification is - there are so many of 'em out there, I'd go nuts :dizzy:
Taking a mandatory unpaid vacation eh? Jeez. No way could I afford to do that...they won't let you use your accrued vacation time? That really sux.
Susie - about my cardio - I do it every day but sometimes it's moderate, sometimes all-out. If I don't have time to do it then weights take precidence...remember though that I'm not on BFL right now - anyone starting out should follow the book to the letter and do the 20MAS 3 times a week. Basically, when you're just starting out in weight training, that's the optimum time to build muscle - so you want to stick to the 20MAS. It's really a question of intensity rather than time - you get MUCH better results from cardio doing a 20 minute MAS or HIIT (both interval training) than doing, say, an hour or more of cardio in the (so-called) "Fat burning" range (you know, the range listed on the machines).
Patt - who's to say that they *haven't* noticed?!? Sometimes people can be so petty and jealous - they might have noticed but just ain't talking... Did you take 'before' photos? This might be a good time to take some 'progress' pix to compare - you might be surprised!
Ledom - take it from ME - don't go out of your way to eat crap during your time off. You've probably heard this at L&S - just because it's a 'free week' doesn't mean that you just eat eat eat all week...best thing would be to eat clean, maybe give yourself a small treat once a day IF YOU FEEL LIKE IT. You're kickin' butt - keep it up!

Well it's my last day at work before I have the week of Christmas off. I have been preparing for this day for the last 3 weeks so I find that I have very little to do today!
I am driving (9 hrs) to Melbourne on Monday to spend Christmas with my side of the family. My Mum has asked me to organise it so I have 3 busy days scheduled. I can't wait actually I have spent a lot of time planning it and it's going to be awesome.
The weird thing about planning and being organised is that you lose the last minute adrenalin rush of doing things. I got home from work last night finding myself with not much to do so hubby and I decided to go to a movie. We went to the mall and people were running around trying to shop etc before Christmas. We almost felt 'out of place' because we were so relaxed and everyone was hyped. I felt the strong urge to buy something so I picked up a $5 coin purse for myself and a wallet for hubby. It was weird to be there though with everyone rushing around and me with nothing to do! Anyway I will quit rambling now.....
Well I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and I will catch up with you all when I can, probably when I am fixing my Mum's computer!
Love to all of your families!

JC - Have fun!!! :)
9 hour drive?!? Hope you and Hubby are takin' turns behind the wheel - and I fervently hope that the weather in Oz isn't like what we're experiencing here now in the Bay Area...YUK! Worse yet, I have a RIDING LESSON after work - I'm looking forward to the riding, but dreading the drive to Woodside which normally takes 20 minutes...probably will take twice as long :(
Hey! One of my coworkers gave everyone See's Candy for Christmas - EXCEPT ME  Instead, she gave me a $20 Target gift card which is something I can really use - rather than a pound of Nuts & Chews (my favorites!). SOMEONE out there is listening...I gave my boss an adorable Lenox crystal kitty that she LOVED - she's a feline fancier big time...and she doesn't need candy either...who does really?
JC - didja order the GetLean kit yet? I'm still on the fence myself...
Since there will likely be no riding lesson on Saturday due to the deluge (Dee has to share the covered arena and Saturdays are very hectic) Jim and I might venture to San Francisco to see the film "Standing in the Shadows of Motown". Supposed to be EXCELLENT - James Jamerson (the bass player behind most of the classic Motown hits) is a MAJOR influence for Jim, and we don't want to wait until it goes to DVD to see it.
Later all!!!

Yes we always take turns - only 2 hours each plus we need to stretch the dogs legs as well.
I love the storms actually but only when I am at home - I hate driving in the rain. But alas it is hot and dry here - no rain or storms.
I haven't ordered the Get Lean kit but I am tempted. Are you planning on reading it and keeping it or do you just want to read it? Maybe we could work something out between us.

Just got in the door - actually it stopped raining and storming right before I left work (thank Goodness!). BUT I should've called to make sure riding was still on - it was CANCELLED and Dee left a message on her voicemail, but (duh) I didn't check it :dizzy: Oh well...I spent about 30 minutes visiting the horses - I enjoy just BEING with them as much as I do RIDING them - so it wasn't a total loss :)
Hm. I'm still waffling on the GetLean book - I've actually read it before - and tried it for a couple of weeks. It's definitely a competition diet - but it's not low-carb at all. Kinda cool how the diet works - you get complex carbs at just about every meal along with protein. I think 2-3 of the meals include veggies. I forgot whether it's five meals or six...but you need to follow the book EXACTLY for "X" (forgot the exact #) number of weeks. Robb, Swlsue, and LC have all been following Keith Klein - I've seen some other peoples' profiles and photos on GetLean but can't recall names. You can bet if I lived in Houston, I'd be going to Keith Klein for training, no question!! But there's something about paying $60 for a paperbound book that kind of stops me (I don't even have the VCR plugged in - and I have calipers). I keep checking eBay but it hasn't shown up yet...maybe I'll cave soon!
Ya know, when we're traveling Jim ALWAYS drives. He enjoys it and I'd just as soon relax and not have to get all anxious!

Karen- Your California weather just hit the east coast. I woke up to torrential rain and hail. At least no outdoor run today! I'm a terrible wimp about foul weather running. I don't know what I'll do if it's raining on race day. At least in Orlando it shouldn't be as cold and miserable as here.
JC- I've probably missed you, but have a good trip.
SusieM- Sorry to hear the last few weeks have been difficult. I find the gym is a great stress reliever, even when I am not eating so well. So keep at it, the extra food should help you lift even better, and sooner or later it'll at get back to normal again.
Whatever happened to MoxieGirl? She seems to have dissappeared from both here and l&S? And Susanje?
see y'all later!

Mel, thanks for asking. I am still around. After my son's assault I have had next to no time for myself. I go to school 3 days a week and then run around for appointments and the like the next two days, grocery shopping and cleaning and homework on the weekends. My life is pretty stressed. In fact I take my last final today (2 days after all of my classmate's last final) because the school has tried to accommodate me this semester. I was doing so well until I rec'd that phonecall on the 5th of October and have completely backslid. This is like my 3rd or 4th backslide since starting BFL in March of 2001.
Anyway, I have big plans for the New Year and hope to be in the gym by the middle of January! I will be back..............I'm NOT giving up.
Susan
We missed ya - I figgered that with school and family, you were up to your armpits in it, if ya know what I mean...
And A BIG CONGRATS TO LEDOM!!! :bravo: for completing her 12 weeks! You've done great - have a nice relaxing free week (although I betcha you'll still want to go to the gym...just don't do any weights or intense cardio this week - let your body rest).
Mel - OHHHH we got hit again last night. At 2:00 am this morning the lightning and thunder started again, followed by hail and a downpour...fortunately it dissipated by 4:30 so I didn't have to walk to the gym thinking I was going to get hit by a lightning bolt :)
Gotta run - I'm taking next week off so need to get caught up here...I'm looking forward to Monday - I have my massage scheduled for noon! Yippers!

LEDOM! Way to go! I cannot wait to see your results. I bet you feel like a million bucks!
Susan, glad to hear you're not giving up. I'm not sure what happened to your son, but it sounds very stressful. Hope all is well in the future for you and yours.
Mel, Thanks for the kind words. I will keep at it. I'm not giving up either! :D
Karen, Thanks for the info on the cardio stuff. The reason I asked was I've always heard doing too much (not that you are) can impede your progress. Actually, over at L&S today there is this very conversation going on. I didn't know what program you were doing. :D
Well, off to the office (to do what I'm not sure - it's so slow this time of year) and then to daughter's school for the holiday celebration! Oh, and the neighborhood party is tonight too. Crap, I forgot about it til just now. Last year was a gigantic
FOOD A PALOOZA!!!:yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :nono: :nono:

At this point - I'm doing Kamp Karen!
Actually I've modified my program a bit. The one I posted at the journal was one I got from Pam way back in March, when I was on a comp diet/exercise program. I've scaled back on the cardio a bit, and I like to keep my weight-training down to 45 minutes (it's more of a time thing than anything else - I need to get out of the gym by 6:15 am so I can get in the shower by 6:30 so the water can get hot again in time for Jim to take HIS shower at 7:00 :) )
Ya want Foodapalooza, well you should've seen MY work this week. What with the Company Brunch...another department on my floor had their Holiday Potluck and then put all the fattening leftovers in the kitchen near my office...then yesterday a 3 1/2 hour meeting with FOOD GALORE - sushi, spring rolls, little tart type desserts and so many shrimp that George Costanza (remember that Seinfeld episode??) would have swooned...I didn't really look at the tables very closely to see what else was there - went upstairs and had a protein shake and then scarfed up the free bottled water...good on me! All I can say is thank goodness the holidays will be over soon...

Mel, I am definitely a convert to the BFL way of life. "I'll be back!"
OSC, let me just say that the best is yet to come in your challenge. I felt like the last 2 weeks were when all the changes happened for me. Of course they were happening all along, but that was when I really started noticing.
Thanks all of you for your support and listening ears. I tell you what, 3fatchicks is the best concept ever and it has been a big part of my daily routine since I found it over 3 years ago.
OK, so now what is the plan? To follow Karen's advice and not go hog wild over my break. Unfortantely my break will extend beyond 7 days due to some traveling that is coming up. Having said that, I plan to stick pretty close to my eating plan of the last 12 weeks and hope to get in some good hiking and kayaking (no weights) over the next couple of weeks until I can start challenge 2. Yesterday I cooked up a huge batch of chicken soup and bfl banana muffins so my fridge is stocked w/ clean food.

Weigh to go Ledom;
Looks like you got some great results. !!!!!
I noticed that you don't have a bf measure. I'll bet that is down a bunch too!!!!! Good work!!!!
I'm done too, but havent done my measurements yet. I took pics too, (have been all along). I know I haven't come down in weight much, but my bf measure is gonna be down 3 or 4 %. It is a start.
I'm also going to try to eat clean food when I eat meals during the christmas break, plus have some snacks and stuff. I have a bowl of egg whites and oat meal next to me. It smells good but I'm kinda afraid to eat it .... It might be disgusting !!!
We went to my ds and dd's Irish Dance christmas party last night! Wowwwza!!! was there ever alot of sweets and chicken wings. We brought sushi, although not authorized, sushi is fairly good food, so I tried to eat that mostly as I'm on my break!!!!! And we were forced to dance ... I've never been to an Irish festivity before, but apparently public displays of stuff like dancing and singing are expected! Luckily I just finished my 12 weeks and am in better shape to stand up to the dancing!!! It was kinda fun.
