I am going out tonight to a friends and there is going to be alcohol served. I am wondering what are the best choices for mixed drinks. I would like to have a drink, two at most.

Vodka & Seltzer is one of the lowest calorie options I believe....I need something with more flavor to cancel out the vodka though, so I have them add a splash of cranberry instead.

Vodka is one of my favorite things to drink. I like it in about everything.

Seagirl- I like beer as well, but this friend isn't a beer drinker in the least.

Vodka and diet coke was the winner; I also only had two drinks. It was perfect. I am glad that I went out because now I know that I can go out with friends and stick to my plan.

If we're drinking at home I'll usually do Bacardi Rum and Diet Dr. Pepper


Last time we got the Waist Watchers Died Black Cherry Soda...they also make a Diet Black Raspberry...that was really good with the Bacardi...but Vodka would work too.

I did a mock mojito the other night. I asked the bartender to skip the simple syrup! Rum, soda water muddled with fresh lime and mint. It was pretty good. They usually make them too sweet anyway.
