hello all,

Have been browsing and you all seem lovely. I have just started WW. On my 3rd week and I am enjoying it. I have lost 7lbs so far and I feel confident that I can keep going. I would like to lost 34 more which seems like soooo much (I'm only 5'3") but I know I look better with 7 off so although 41 is my goal with each pound I am achieving success.

I love the points system, knowing that I can eat everything I want is very exciting, I know I have to stay within my points but knowing that I can occassionally have bacon makes me happy. :) The first few weeks have been easy for me, some friends introduced me to Spuds and this seemed to quell my chip fetish. I am realizing that the coming weeks may be more tedious but luckily I LOVE veggies so this should help me a bit. I am hoping that I can be part of this community, I am going to meetings but it's nice to offer / have as much of a friendship connection as you can.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Feel proud of yourselves, achieving your goals is tough and trying is a great accomplishment in itself!

WELCOME!!!I JUST JOINED THIS FORUM MYSELF, JOINED WW'S 10 WEEKS AGO....AND I LOVE IT!:D MY ADVICE IS STICK TO IT, THIS IS THE ONLY THING THATS EVER WORKED FOR ME AND I'VE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING OUT THERE!! I MANAGE A SKATE SHOP IN THE MALL IN MY HOME TOWN, AND I EAT EVERYDAY IN THE FOOD COURT, THANK GOD THERE'S A SUBWAY AND CHICK FIL'A THERE...AND I'VE BEEN SUCESSFUL WITH MY WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS.... I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE BUT IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT YOU CAN DO IT.... I PUT A PICT OF MYSELF FROM MY VACATION TO FLORIDA THIS LAST SUMMER ON THE REFRIDGERATOR--I HATE THIS PICT--I HATE THE WAY I LOOKED AND I DECIDED THIS WAS MY MOTIVATION!!! I'VE LOST 23LBS AND I'M GETTING VERY CLOSE TO MY GOAL....I MAKE THE EFFORT TO NOT LIE TO MYSELF WHEN I RECORD POINTS, DRINK MY 8 GLASSES OF WATER, AND TRY TO STAY AS BUSY AS I CAN TO BURN CALORIES. I'd love to be your buddy to:) I am happy with the program and I think I've been so happy with it I find it hard to believe it will last. In the last 3 weeks I've lost 9 lbs! I think I'll get 10 by Wednesday. I have also been enjoying my food, I'm not really ever hungry unless I've been too busy to grab a meal and I've had a few treats and still managed to lose. Seems like it's too good to be true lol. But as soon as I started this time I realized that I could do this for life, it's not a diet, it a way of life.
