Default slowly starting p2 but...

So i have slowly been adding in whole grain foods breads, pasta, a few fruits...but ive been having horrible stomach aches a half hour after eating even the smallest portions. And i read about that reintroducing wheat can do that too you, but do you ever get over it? do you just keep pushing it slowly? or has anybody found a good way to reintroduce food? i really want some toast with some pb but these stomach aches are hindering this small craving.

Which foods are giving you the stomach aches? I'd avoid them to be honest because that could mean a sensitivity (Ex. Gluten sensitivity ect).

I never had that problem though, so I can't be of more help *sigh*

mainly foods i have not been eating for a few weeks now. breads, rice, pasta, ive never had a gluten allergy before i started this and would be really sad if i do now i love bread. i noticed it a few times before i started the 1.5 like if i had a planned cheat i would get sick to my stomach but i just figured it was my body telling me ya you shouldn't be eating that. but now with the whole grain breads...

Have you tried wheat free grains? there are plenty out there. what about some quinoa? have you tried sprouted grain bread instead of regular wheat bread?

try your grains in different forms and you may find that it sits better with you.

Also watch the size of your portions. A serving of pasta and rice is 1/2 cup each. More might send you over the edge if you haven't eaten it in a while.

My first thought was a gluten sensitivity. Even if you don't recall having had symptoms before you started, going without a food for two weeks will make any symptoms exaggerated when you start them back.

That said, the fact that you can eat rice makes me disinclined to think it's a wheat sensitivity...

I'll be completely honest though -- I don't "push through it".. If my body is telling me not to eat something, I listen. I figure it's hurting for a reason, kwim?
