Hey ladies -

Jeni - hope Tommy feels better soon!

Mavis - hope you get to destress a little, take a bath and do some reading or leave the messes for tomorrow (a practice I implement a lot!)

Doing good, saw 174 this morning - ugh! Other than the weight I'm doing well, Connor sounds like he's getting a respiratory thing, a little wheezy and coughing a bit so I'm crossing my fingers it doesn't turn into a full blown illness. DH is working crazy hours as always :) Take care!!!

E Just did half of C25K week 4 (the first 3 minute run and the first 5 minute run) that's enough for right now, knee feels a bit wonky, so thought I would stop there, resume if I can after work, if it still hurts, I will walk the rest of today's 10k steps
E OP
D Make excuses or make progress. I am choosing progress. I told my kids I was going to work on this while they were gone this semester. This is the end of their 2nd week back. Time to get with it if I plan to show them I kept my word......

Hey Chickadees!

Man, talk about missing in action! I fell off the Valentine's Day Challenge wagon, but I got back on today. That's all that matters, right? I have my excuses, but they are just that - excuses. So, onward and upward.

I got to the gym today and stepped on the scale and my weight is reduced. That feels nice in some ways, but I don't think it will stay down. I find the scale to be such a mystery. I'm trying my best to acknowledge all the positive results of this Challenge, so I will not let this mysterious drop in weight go by without a "Cheer!". :cheer2::cheer3:

My DS has been home all week with a cold as well. Take care ladies!

I wanted to lose 10 lbs by Valentine's Day, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it. As of last Saturday I had 6 more lbs to lose. I'll be very good this weekend and see what my result is Monday morning.

Jeni, both you & DH's dates sound wonderful!! Sounds likes you had a great day too! I do wear a brace, but had not been taking my glucosamine supplement, back on track with that too! I so want to be running again, full force by summer...

Surrender, I will not make my goal either, but it's less than before the challenge, so, I am choosing to embrace it! Next challenge maybe I get there!

Clykk, down is down! Good for you.

WA, feel better!

Emi, thought of you yesterday, one of my work friends is expecting too! She went for her US yesterday. Exciting stuff!

Ti, you are doing awesome!!

I had a good day yesterday, did finish my run last night, got over my 10k steps, OP with food and water, a good day! Today I am aiming for 2 in a row.

W 100, pay attention, slip from this at home
E 10k steps, video (TurboJam maybe?)
E POP only variation yesterday was a mini PB cup!

mothermavis - Only 1 mini PB cup! Wow! What discipline!!

jcatron243 - What do you have on a dessert date and still feel like you are OP?

surrendertolis - I'm thinking like you. Trying to be very good to see if I can keep the scale from popping back up. Good luck!

WillsAngel - I hope you're feeling better!

emiloots - I've only had one child, so I can only imagine that by your third one, you have many memories of weight gain and having to lose it afterwards. I imagine it's hard to embrace the weight gain when you know what you will have to work off afterwards! Be good to yourself!

TIARA - Slowly inching towards goal. Do I know what you mean, or what!

See y'all on the other side!

jcatron243
02-12-2011, 09:49 PM
Clykk~ I wont be OP. :)

I got in a mile after work. NOT 30 minutes because I was so busy with getting Mak ready for the dance.

I'm ready and so is tommy bring on the desert (whatever that shall be!)

In the end, I went back up 3 pounds this week, so I lost 2 pounds total for the challenge. As mothermavis says, "Down, is down!" I'll take it.
