Atkins - A few exciting clothing moments lately...

A few days ago I ordered some new underwear from Torrid. I was pretty sure I wore a 3, which is a 3x or 22/24. I ordered a 2, which is a 2x or an 18/20. I figured tighter is better because I could wear them longer as I lose weight. Well, they fit great!! I almost wish I had ordered a 1 which is a 1x or a 14/16. There's one pair that are a little too tight.

Earlier today my mom brought in a pair of 14/16 (I think) sweatpants and told me to try them on. They fit perfectly!! They're sweatpants, but still that's really exciting!

So I decided to grab some jeans to see if they're looser. To be honest I don't leave the house much so I don't get dressed very often. The last time I really got all dressed up was when I went job hunting and before that when I was staying with my friend in late December. I grabbed these jeans that used to be painfully tight on me and my fat roll would hang over. I thought I didn't really like them, but I put them on and they look GREAT! I love them! They're Seven brand so I'm glad they won't be going to waste. They're a size 20, which seems really big but I have always had big thighs and I've mostly been losing weight in my stomach and face.

There's also two shirts that I tried. One of them used to be really, really tight and now it fits like it should!

I just wanted to share this because I'm so excited! If you're looking for some motivation, go grab some old clothes that used to be too tight and see if they're easier to put on.

Fantastic! So thrilled for you! I love the feeling of having something that started out snug and got baggier and baggier with each passing week.

Thank you guys! I have a lot of unwashed clothes that I plan on washing and trying on, plus clothes that have been in my closet for a while just because they didn't look right or were a little bit snug. I don't have any of my skinny clothes anymore but looking better in my current clothes is pretty exciting.

Congratulations to everyone who's been slipping into smaller sizes; it feels SO GOOD! I was up to a 24/26 and now I'm wearing 18/20. Depending on the brand, some of those are even loose. I kept my very favorite, very expensive small sizes...I hope to be in some of them this summer. It'll be work, though, most of them are 10's and 12's.

Now that the weather's beginning to cooperate, I'll walk more to get more of me in shape. I'd like to lose 15 by Easter and lose the home-stretch 30 this summer. For lots of reasons, (one of them is walking twice a day in the Carolina heat and humidity - nasty, but it peels the pounds off) losing weight in summer is so much easier for me. Great work, Atkins chickies!

I got a 14/16 top for my birthday and it fits perfectly. My 20 jeans are also loose so I think I need an 18! It's exciting because I can now buy jeans regular stores like American Eagle.
