Just for fun, list who we think is sexy, famous or not, it doesn't matter if everyone knows who everyone listed is or not. I just thought this would be fun. I'll go first.

12-03-2002, 08:12 PM
Here's my list:
-Dear Fiance. The sweetest man on the planet, who also happens to appreciate my twisted sense of humor.
-Kevin Spacey. I don't know why, but he's soooo damn sexy,
even though he's a balding middle aged dude.
-Matthew McConahey (sp?). Mmmmmmm.
-Gary Sinise. Double mmmmmmm.
-Steven Wilson. Lead singer, guitarist and inspiration behind my fave band, Porcupine Tree. His voice is sooooo sexy to me.
-Catherine Zeta-Jones. This is the celebrity I would most like
to look like.
-Reese Witherspoon. So damn cute, and DF has a "thing" for her.
I can see why.
In their heyday:
Paul Newman. OMG!!!!! He was a HUNK. Those eyes ...
I'm sure there are more that I just can't think of right now.
And how about - LEAST sexy/MOST overrated?
For me that would be Sarah Jessica Parker, there's a bit of an -- um -- equine quality to her. I just don't get what the fuss is all about ...
12-03-2002, 09:08 PM
hmmm off the top of my head (I know I have more!) :
Matthew McConaughey (I've loved him since Dazed&Confused)
all the actors/actresses on CSI :)

Oh tish, Velvet, that is me of course! Just ask Ellis ;)
12-03-2002, 11:50 PM
>>>LOL! Sabrina! Are you calling Jessica a horse face?
Yeah, my fiance' and I have this thing about horse faced women. Nancy Kerrigan is another one. Whenever I spot a horse face
(on TV, NOT in public! LOL) I pull my lips back and make this loud
"nneeeeeiiiiggggghhhhhhhhhh!" sound. I usually can't get the sound out of my mouth because I'm collapsed on the floor in hysterics, tears streaming down my face. It gets him going every time too.
I know, I am a horrible person. :o
12-03-2002, 11:58 PM
Alright, here goes:
Elvis Costello - I love him completely
Desmond Morris (I'm a sucker for professor types)
Ok, I'm gonna stop now!
I don't know, I think Grace Kelley and young Liz Taylor were about as beautiful as is humanly possible.
Maybe I'm old, I just don't get the appeal of Leonardo DiCaprio or any of the current pop/boy band guys at all.
12-04-2002, 01:40 AM
Oh god! Nancy Kerrigan is a total horse face! And those teeth! She could chew through Mt. Rushmore with those things!
12-04-2002, 02:50 AM
Yes, Velvet... that IS Mauvais. ;)
Naturally my DH tops the list. :D
Nero Wolfe. Fictional character. Very fat and hates women. I love him because he's so much like me. Loves to stay home, read, eat, putter with plants, and is pretty anti-social. Oh, and he hates shaking hands.
my mom She's probably one of the sexiest women I've ever seen.
Madonna Cool and kinda butchy. I like that.
Alanis Morissette She's in my head.

Helen Hunt Very hot. And cool.
Richard Farnsworth Oh, he was just the sweetest man...
Robert DeNiro He astonishes me.
Cindy Crawford Babe.

Madonna - no need to say more!
Angelina Jolie is lovely...her lips are nice but so is everything else
including but not limited to her beautiful soulful eyes.
Nicole Kidmann was very sexy in Moulon Rouge.
Patrick Stewart...yes, totally, give me an order Captain!

I'm a starving child type models...
Romas, a professor from my undergrad program
who was in his sixties then, but so devine and
smart and sexy in a wise and kind and loving
teddybearish kind of a way. All of the girls in the printmaking
dept. had a crush on him.
A summer fling from my youth...
she was/is healthy, smart, sweet, androgynous,
a delicious mix of butch and femme.
Women who love themselves, value themselves
treat themselves as precious..
Women who value and respect other people...
see the preciousness of living things...
fight for a better world in their everyday lives...
in the way they touch the people around them...
and the rest of you alternachickies!!!!
12-04-2002, 05:51 PM
Ahhhhh! Helen Hunt has a forehead that is soooooo huge. My hubby likes her though.
the guy on Enterprise who is Commander Tucker. The captain is cute too. Patrick Stewart was very sexy in some episodes... I like Spike from Buffy. And the lead singer from Counting Crows... his hair was fantastic...
Oh! I nearly forgot... my first love who recently sent me a photo who still makes my stomache contract with longing. He has matured from a sexy young man with deep, pensive eyes to a really sexy man with the same eyes. Sigh. good for lots of fantasies.
I'm pitiful, I know...
12-04-2002, 06:20 PM
Someone who hasn't been mentioned yet, Lou Diamond Phillips. See, I'm weird.
'k, I'm going to bed now 'cause I'm sick...just stopped in for some "sugar plums" :D

12-04-2002, 08:19 PM
Velvet, don't get weird on us, now. ;)
12-04-2002, 10:54 PM
Hey, I forgot about Spike. I met him at a gaming convention that I worked at. He was very cute in person, very funny and nice.
Speaking of which I met Adrian Paul too, and I never watched the Highlander show and didn't think he was that attractive. Then I met him! He has a wicked smile and looks hot in person.
Weirdness here-I think Bruce Campbell is hot too! :o
12-05-2002, 08:51 AM
I know he has sometimes been considered a pretty boy - but I just have to say Mel Gibson :) - must be those eyes and all those movies where he plays the role of the loving dad (awww)
oh and Velvet too
12-05-2002, 10:09 AM
Brendan Fraser - HOW could I have forgotten him????
Helen Hunt has an odd beautiful to her. Yea, forehead like crazy, but I think it's in the eyes. Leelee Sobieski has the same "look" to her. Pretty, but odd.
Ok, and I'm gonna' sound like a pedophile here, but has anyone seen the new Harry Potter?? Daniel Radcliffe (who plays Harry) is turning out to be one gorgeous young man. If he was just 20 years older.... :chin:
12-05-2002, 12:16 PM
Terri, I was thinking the same thing about Harry.
12-05-2002, 12:41 PM
Oh good, so I'm not a perv
Or if I am... I'm in great company!
12-05-2002, 12:45 PM
My goodness, Terri... I think he's pretty hot! That's really the type I go for. Sort of geeky and interesting looking. Unlike my husband, who is a hunk. :chin:
12-05-2002, 02:51 PM
I agree about Daniel Radcliffe. He looks a lot like John Lennon, who is on my list (circa 1966, not so much later on).
Colin Firth (I like English guys, as you see)
Liam Gallagher (just to look at, not to interact with!! LOL)
Kevin Spacey (not sure why)
Meredith Vieira on the View (great looking and my age!)
my DH's great grandmother (a knockout circa 1895, with a photo to prove it)
Great thread - great fun!
12-05-2002, 02:54 PM
Oh my... I forgot Colin Firth. Woof!! :D
And I'm with you three girls on Kevin Spacey, too.
12-05-2002, 03:27 PM
My husband of course :)
Lenny Kravitz (ohmy ohmy... he is the hottest of the hot)
Brad Pitt (especially in the movie "Fight Club")
Edward Norton (also in "Fight Club")
Henry Simmons (the very hot black detective on "NYPD Blue")
Vince Vaughn (the movie "Swingers")
Christian Slater (way back in "Heathers")
Conan O'Brian (seriously)
Any member of the band "The Strokes"
And of course... Patrick Stewart
Completely over rated:
Penelope Cruz (aka dog face because she looks like a dachshund)
12-05-2002, 03:43 PM
Oh my yes, Lenny Kravitis!!!
12-05-2002, 05:59 PM
Sojo, I completely agree with your over rated list! I swear you could fit an SUV in Julia Roberts mouth! LOL! I never thought of it but yeah Penelope Cruz does look like a dog.
12-05-2002, 06:28 PM
DH (Sometimes I just look at his fingers, or the way he walks around the house with his socks hanging off his toes and I melt!!!)
Joey Ramone (sob)
The lead singer of UB40 (not all that HANDSOME, but adorable...I WANT TO JUMP HIM!!)
Raquel Welch (in the sixties)
I'm blanking on names...I'll have to look 'em up and come back and edit them in!!!
12-05-2002, 06:31 PM
Den, you're killin' me. snicker.
Hey, just to the fashion police site. Plenty of names THERE! :D
12-05-2002, 07:12 PM
Ashley Scott(Huntress) -Birds of Prey She is sooooooooo sexy! Drool
Melissa Ethridge- Love her music and recently read her autobiography Loved it too. She is very sexy!
Colin Mockery from Whose Line is it anyway! Canadian too!
12-05-2002, 07:27 PM
I LOOOOOOVE Colin Mochrie! He is so funny, and so cute! You know he was born in Scotland, and moved to Canada as a wee lad. I have a major thing for John Lennon, not only is he my hero, but he was beautiful as well.
12-06-2002, 10:11 AM
Okay...here goes my list...
Sam Elliot...he can eat crackers in my bed any day!
Wesley Snipes--I'd love to find out if what they say about black guys is really true! LOL
Drew Carey--I'm a sucker for humour!
David Letterman--Again, I'm a sucker for humour! LOL
James Gandolfini--mmmm the mob king himself! LOL
Most of the male actors from Third Watch and CSI!
For some reason I'm having a hard time thinking of women. I know there is a tonne of them, they just aren't coming to my mind right now. LOL
12-06-2002, 10:19 AM
Another one from Who's Line that quite the cutie is Brad Sherwood... I love a twisted sense of humor.
Also, Pink. Not when she's got that banshee makeup thing going, but just looking "normal" - very cute.
12-06-2002, 10:35 AM
Rene Russo-Thomas Crown affair- she steamed up the screen with Pierce Brosnan and their on-screen affair was believable!
Marg Hellenburg - the blonde from CSI, attractive, smart, sassy and tough
Faith from Buffy-she kicked *** and took names!
Michelle Yeoh- Hong Kong action flick heroine- also from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and was in one of the Bond films.
Owen Wilson-cute and funny and charming in goofball way.
Gwyneth Paltrow- wishy washy looking and a terrible actress
Julia Roberts- whatever
Kate Moss- never understood what the fuss was about there
Christina Aguliera -voice is so so and she is trashy-not sexy
Pam Anderson-way too much makeup and silicon she looks really fake
Most of the cast of Bay Watch- men and women alike!
Most of the bimbos from those teen/sex romp movies
12-06-2002, 11:01 AM
Ethan Hawke - I have always loved him but watch the movie Before Sunrise.
Pretty much the rest of the cast of Dead Poets Society
Marty Biron - Sabres Goalie
Michael Peca - ex-Sabres Captain now on the Islanders
Rhett Warner, TIm Connelly, Jay McKee - also on the Sabres. What can I say I like hockey players. :)
Ethan - The soccer player guy from Survivor a few seasons ago. HATE the show, he was cute.
Scott Wieland (STP)
Gord Downie - lead singer for the Tragically Hip
Danny from the Watchmen
Cuba Gooding Jr
Jesse L Martin
And in their prime -
I like Gwyneth...
Joey Lauren Adams
And of course the smart, silly, sweet Alternachicks. :)
12-06-2002, 12:39 PM
I like Gwyneth, too. :D
12-06-2002, 12:42 PM
OH! You know what ticked me off? When Minnie Driver lost all that weight.
12-06-2002, 01:18 PM
I'm not entering into this discussion. I posted once that I thought Prince Phillip still looked pretty hunky and got teased.
Us Old Fartesses have different criteria, I guess.
12-06-2002, 01:20 PM
Me too!!! I thought she looked great!
Also, even though Sarah Jessica Parker is a bit horse-faced, I thought she looked awsome (around her face, neck, shoulders, etc.) while she was pregnant. She looked healthy and radiant. Now they're saying she's looking forward to getting the "excess" weight off.
12-06-2002, 01:25 PM
Excess weight on Sarah Jessica Parker? Sheesh, that woman is rail!
Reminds of the whole Renee Zellweger "blimping up" for Bridget Jones Diary. Gosh, she got all the way up to 125 pounds or something! I thought she looked great in that movie, but now
she looks sickly and frail.
Too bad this is the prevailing standard of "beauty" in Hollywood.
12-06-2002, 02:08 PM
I know, It's sickening that women have to be so thin in Hollywood! They say that if you are a size 6-8 you're chubby and a size 10+ is fat! What the **** kind of twisted thinking is that? I read somewhere that it's a combination of Mysoginist male producers, and the high fashion designers who won't size up their clothes for real people. I hear all of the time that so-and-so fashion designer really "loves" women, and likes to celebrate their shape. Uh, yeah that is if the woman's shape happens to be a pencil. And these producers, and directors like the thin frail women so they can feel big and manly. Jerks, What makes me so mad is so many women go along with this crap! Ah well, It's up to women to change the perception that you have to weigh 108lbs. at 5'5" or you're fat.
I think Pink is soooo sexy!!! How could I forget Pink?!?!? I love her! I like Brad Sherwood too, and Bruce Springsteen, he's so cool. and very sexy.
12-06-2002, 03:32 PM
is Christina Ricci... the once curvy and edgy actress of movies such as The Adamms Family, Sleepy Hollow, Pecker (ohmigod... funny movie), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Opposite of Sex... turns up RAIL thin in Ally McBeal. She literally looked like a skeleton with skin stretched over the bones. Very, very sad. There is a definite pattern to most of David E. Kelly's casting for women... anorexic. Thankfully he makes a couple exceptions in The Practice.
12-06-2002, 03:51 PM
Johny Depp. And Brad Pitt. And the guy from Willow... Forget his name. The tall guy. He had long hair and I love long hair.
Johny Depp is yummy.
Prince Phillip???? Each to her own!
12-06-2002, 04:06 PM
That's OK, Lois. He's married anyhow! I doubt that Queenie would share.
Actually Patrick Stewart is great! On good days my DH looks like him.
12-06-2002, 04:10 PM
The guy from Willow was Val Kilmer with long black hair and he was a babe in that film and in the big screen version of The Saint too! Let's not forget Top Secret and Top Gun. He is one of the few blonde men I found attractive.
Prince Phillip is still quite handsome so I agree with Ruthie on that one!
12-06-2002, 04:22 PM
SHARE!?!?! Are you kidding? You don't really think he's been faithful to her, do you?
Are you serious? Your DH looks like Patrick? Woof! Could you bring him over next time you visit, Ruth? :D
I like the guy in the last Star Wars with the long pony tail. The one who died in the movie... what's his name... ?
12-06-2002, 04:43 PM
Re: Star Wars - would that be Ewan McGregor or Liam Neeson?
12-06-2002, 05:17 PM
Oh. Liam Neeson. Is that who that is. Oh. Well. Okay.
12-06-2002, 06:09 PM
I'll take Ewan. He didn't quite look so hot in Trainspotting, But I do love that man.
Oh I also have a thing for David Bowie, especailly in Laybrinth.
12-06-2002, 08:43 PM
Bowie in Labrynth, Ewan McGregor (especially when he's smiling...I LOVE the glint in his eye), Samuel L. Jackson, WHAT was the name of the guy in "Last of the Mohicans"??? He was also in "My Left Foot." DAMN he was sexy in "Last of the Mohicans".
I think women look better with a few curves. I like the rounded look. (Although i think i've gotten a little TOO rounded!!)
12-06-2002, 08:48 PM
Daniel Day Lewis :)
12-06-2002, 08:52 PM
YES!!! Thank you!!!! WOOF!! (As Ellis would say!!!)
12-07-2002, 12:52 AM
Funny you mention Christina Ricci, my mom thinks that I look like her, er well, actually she looks like me since I'm older. I would post a pic but it's too big to post here so I will put the url to my picture trail site. I am a lot heavier than Christina but we do look similar. I think we look like sisters kind of, I mean if she did have an older much fatter sister that is. LOL! What do you think? And try not to be cruel, my feelings are easily hurt.
Velvet, I LOVE that picture that your friend took of you! The "double" one. And your hair looks cute!
Listen, you are much prettier than Christina.
I hope I haven't hurt your feelings. ;)
12-07-2002, 09:03 AM
Wow, Velvet I can really see the resemblance and I agree with Ellis, you are much prettier than she.
12-07-2002, 11:48 AM
I just posted a mesage in Velvet's photo page saying the same thing...I think you look alot like her only you're prettier!
So, your her older, chubbier, prettier sister.
She'll have to live with that...and as a younger sister...I have one older and two younger...well two older and two younger but one is a half...It isn't always easier living up the the older sister so please be easy on Christina.
I agree with Mauvais on her overrated list. Though I like julia roberts as an actress, I just don't find her attractive at all.
And I don't like Gyneth Paltrow either...she seems to have this phoniness about her...she reminds me of girls that I went to high school with. I know that her father is Jewish and she looks like this totally anglo-blondy-skinny thing.
Maybe those are her real looks but part of me thinks she is obsessed with looking Norwegian when she really is Eastern European peasant stock Jewish. But, I don't know who her mother is...maybe she does have true Nordic roots. It just reminds me of some Jewish people that try to look WASPy and get their pictures taken at Christmas in front of the fireplace for their holiday cards and change their names from Julius Rothenberg to J.R. Ross. So, people won't know their ethnicity...uh oh, I'm getting very preachy and verbose...sorry girls... I welcome your feedback on this.
I think Paul McCartney is a hunk-o-matic. Two years or so ago my sister was in New York city with her daughter's school right around Christmas time to go on a class trip to see the sights and the decorations etc. While they were getting off of the bus onto a shoulder to shoulder crowded New York sidewalk, Paul McCartney walked right past my sister and one of the other Moms. The other Mom gasped and put her hand on his arm...just standing there holding onto him and speechless...my sister was just observing this...he looked at the woman and put his hand on her hand and said..."be calm, there are children here and we wouldn't want anything to happen" and he smiled and just walked on by. My sister loved that brush with fame and he had such a regal presense that he could just soothe this crazed fan and remind her not to freak and cause a riot with a few words...gotta love that man and don't get me started on the music of lennon and mccartney okay....
12-07-2002, 02:08 PM
LOL! Ellis! You are too funny! Thank you! You always make me smile. No you didn't hurt my feelings, I can deal with your brutal opinion of me. ;) My mom said I'm prettier too, but of course there is absolutely no bias there. My best friend said I look more like a combo of Christina and Angelina Jolie, which I like a lot better, because that means I look like me, and not just a sad rip off of some little Hollywood star.
Virgina, and Soozie, thank you, you are both so sweet! You all make me feel good here. It took me a long time to appreciate my looks, but I really do like the way I look.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot! (You get forgetful when your head expands due to praise), I think Wayne Brady from Who's Line is It Anyway? is so sexy! He's got a great ***, so round firm! Oh yeah, if he weren't married!
12-08-2002, 02:17 AM
Gwyneth Paltrow's mom is the actress Blythe Danner (I think she is English). I don't find her attractive because she is so bony, she looks washed out all the time and looks kind of whiny and has a little girl voice, she doesn't dress well either.
My theory is that somewhere in Hollywood there is a school for whiny blond actresses. The all seem to look the same.
Former graduates: Sissy Spacek, Sondra Locke, Jodie Foster (although she has been looking pretty good lately), etc.
Velvet- Christina Ricci does looks like she could be your younger sister!
I used to have people tell me I looked like Gillian Anderson. Now I get Julianne Moore, and last night I was told by someone that I reminded her of Nicole Kidman....yeah, if only I was that tall and slim  (and rich too, then again I would be divorced and that would suck!)
Also on my sexy list:
Antonio Banderas-He was so sexy in Desperado and the 13th Warrior
Dennis Leary (funny, cute in an odd way, a bad boy, roguish charm, looks hot in a leather jacket)
and there is something kind of cute about John Leguizamo too.
12-08-2002, 09:06 AM
I think Sissy Spacek is cool. And Helena Bonham Carter. Because they don't give a damn what other people think. They just wear whatever the **** they want. They're non-conformists, and I like that. :D
Mauvais, you are much more attractive than Nicole Kidman!
12-08-2002, 09:11 AM
I like Sissy Spacek too. And Jodie Foster too!! Brilliant woman. Not just another blonde face.
12-08-2002, 09:15 AM
AND?! What about Helena? Have you seen Margaret's Museum?

Whenever I see Blythe Danner I always think of Grace Kelly...I think they both grew up on Philly's Main Line and sort of have that look?
Who was it that mentioned Sam Elliott? That guy's voice alone can give me a big O. Whenever I see the beef commercial - you know " Beef....it's what's for dinner whatever" I always think "Sam, I'd certainly like you over for dinner"
And ditto on the Renee Zellwegger deal. That woman looked much better with her Bridget Jones look :(
12-08-2002, 03:00 PM
Can I mention someone else? Lara Flynn Boyle the actress?
Is it me or does that woman look like she would just blow over in a stiff breeze?
Isn't that as unhealthy as being too overweight ?
Terri - really not throwing stones, just thinking out loud about the far ends of a normal healthy weight
12-08-2002, 05:51 PM
YES ELLIS!!! I like Helena Bonham Carter too, but haven't seen that movie.
12-08-2002, 09:15 PM
I agree that Lara Flynn Boyle is too thin, but you really have to admire her. She is having a good time with her fame, and she really likes herself. I think it's great when you are that comfortable with who you are, and I wish I could be more like that.
Soozie, I didn't know Bruce Paltrow was Jewish. Hmmmm, yeah I love Jewish guys, so intense and sexy! But so many Jewish guys go for the skinny little blonde shiksa (Sp?) LOL! :dz:
12-08-2002, 09:19 PM
Oh yeah! I love Helena Bonham Carter! She has such a unique look, and so beautiful. Isn't her mother Greek? Very exotic looking.
12-08-2002, 10:07 PM
Yeah, I think that I read somewhere that there were alot of Rabbi's in the Paltrow clan. I'm with you Mauvais. She just had that whiny big baby fragile talking little girl talk that turns me off. Also, the woman who's mom was in The Birds, Melanie Griffith? She always talks baby talk and it is so annoying.
Lara Flynn Boyle was much more attractive when she was heavier when she was Laura in that weird tv show.
I find Wayne Brady really attractive too...I was thinking of him but couldn't remember his name either! and Greg and Cindy and Marsha Brady too...just kidding! Serious about Wayne though...
12-09-2002, 12:21 AM
Oooh! I think Lisa Marie Presley is so gorgeous! I love her smokey eyes, a female Elvis, definately.
12-09-2002, 09:39 AM
Rutger Hauer :T
12-09-2002, 10:18 AM
Oh yeah, I forgot Antonio Banderas! He is so great - I remember him in "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" (great movie) and I thought he was terrific in "Mambo Kings". But Melanie Griffith is very annoying and I CANNOT see why Antonio married her! Just seems cosmically unfair and wrong!
I like Helena B., and Kate Winslet too, who looks like a normal-sized beautiful woman. And Emma Thompson (especially in is it "All's Well That Ends Well", the one set in Italy, where she has the tan and longer hair).
12-09-2002, 02:44 PM
J Lo- so sexy
This woman I seen at the mall with her daugther who was also very cute. This mother though, she was tall, long red hair, very confident looking woman, and oozed sex appeal. I could not take may eyes off of her.
12-11-2002, 03:52 PM
Oh my, have any of you every heard of Norah Jones. Her voice is the sexiest I have ever heard and she is absolutley gorgeous. I love her song Don't Know Why. She has some great great sexy, sultry tunes. If you have not heard anything from her than take my word and take a listen.
12-11-2002, 07:35 PM
I'll have to check her out. I like her name too.
12-11-2002, 11:42 PM
12-12-2002, 12:45 AM
Norah Jones is beautiful and very talented.
12-12-2002, 06:47 AM
Anjelica Huston!?!?! You're kidding me. You just think she's sexy because she looks like your husband! :D
12-12-2002, 08:08 AM
Something about the way she carries herself...
12-12-2002, 08:12 AM
12-12-2002, 08:17 AM
Actually, I don't usually find that too appealing.
12-12-2002, 08:25 AM
I know what you mean... she has "an air" about her.
12-12-2002, 08:28 AM
By the way, Den... what the heck are you doing up so early? Shouldn't you be in bed for at LEAST another three hours? ;)
12-12-2002, 08:32 AM
I KNOW!!! Maybe I'm sick.........
12-12-2002, 08:35 AM
"HEY!!"? What does that mean? You're running to the bathroom to puke? You're HOPING you're sick so that you'll lose weight? And won't have to entertain relatives at Xmas?
I know... you're planning on FAKING IT!?
Hmmm... I may try that myself...
12-12-2002, 08:46 AM
Actually I was ANTICIPATING your rude comments about me being sick!!! I have to go take a shower (EEEK! I'm MELTING!!!!!!) and then go grocery shopping, finish Christmas shopping, buy my Mom's birthday present, clean the house, finish my holiday cards, cook dinner, get the kids from school, finish 2 orders, make more jewelry for orders that are bound to come in at the least convenient moment, buy my Mom's birthday cake (I AIN"T MAKING IT!!!), mail orders, wrap presents, ship presents that have to be mailed (I haven't even sent my Grannie's to England yet!!), lose 100 pounds....(OKAY, the last one doesn't have to be done TODAY, but most of the rest do!!!)
12-12-2002, 08:54 AM
So, you're planning on bathing, are you? I have to go to a damn party tonight, so I suppose I should do the same. I wonder if I could just wear my work-out clothes...
I see you're procrastinating, Den. Why don't you skip making dinner? I'll email you a PICTURE of dinner, instead.
12-12-2002, 12:41 PM
Den, Meijer has great cakes, I love them, lots of creamy frosting. Yum!
12-12-2002, 01:18 PM
ummmm aren't we supposed to be talking about sexy people, not cake :?:
12-12-2002, 01:26 PM
Based on the length of this thread, there sure are a lot of sexy people - most of whom I have not heard! I can relate to cake!
12-12-2002, 01:29 PM
Two hours from now they will be hauling the stitches out of my wrist. Why the **** they don't freeze it is beyond me. It's agony and a white clad witch says "Don't wiggle!"
Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow! :yikes:
Okay - I'm done now.
12-12-2002, 01:42 PM
Oh, Ruth. You poor little thing, you. That DOES hurt! I'd rather leave them in until I'm good and healed. Like for about a year. And then pull them out with my teeth.
I just bought a new mouse, and it's acting like it's a six-month old. Damned thing...
12-12-2002, 01:48 PM
Sorry... I am so anal.... hugs, Ruthie. :grouphug: Hope you're doing okay.
12-12-2002, 02:29 PM
Ruth-YUCK!! Sorry to hear you are getting hurt today. How is the wrist doing? Do you think the surgery was worth it?
Ellis-WELL!! ME procrasinate? OF COURSE I WAS!!!! I did get the orders out, and finished SOME Christmas shopping. AND I HAVE MY SHOES ON!!! I have to go buy some mailing tape now so that I can mail Sis & her Girlfriend's presents. THAT is another sexy woman. Love french accents!!!
Cyber-I bought a cake from Meijer once when our friend was laid off at EDS. I decorated it with a "no EDS" symbol, and let him carve it up with a butcher knife!!!!
TAKE A BATH ELLIS!!! AND USE SOME SOAP!!!
12-13-2002, 12:44 AM
Poor Ruth! I'm sorry to hear about your pain. I hate it when Dr.s don't seem to care about a patient's discomfort.
Den, I like that no eds. Yeah, I like Meijer's cakes, and I don't have to kill myself baking one.
Aw! Ellis I love mice! I love all animals actually. So tiny and cute.
12-13-2002, 07:41 AM
Velvet... was I talking about mice? Am I losing my mind or are you? :D
I DID bathe, Den. Although I don't recall using soap...
Ruth, how are you feeling, hon?
Hi everyone else! Where am I?
12-13-2002, 03:03 PM
Okay...back on topic...I saw this thread and had to name my people...
Trent Reznor-I have had the hots for him since I began listening to Nine Inch Nails about 10 or more years ago...MMMMMM...
Patrick Stewart-Ditto on all said about him above (accent, he can captain my ship anytime, etc.)
Christopher Lee-He is older, but he is a sexy lightsaber wielding Sith Lord in Attack of the Clones, and an even sexier good turned bad wizard in Lord of the Rings...quadruple YUM.
Al Pacino-once again, older-but like a fine wine only gets better with age...
David Bowie-nuff said :p
Steven Tyler-the lips and raspy voice
Liv and Mia Tyler-Steven Tyler's two gorgeous daughters-both just lovely
Linda Hamilton-especially when she was all pumped up and kicking butt in Terminator 2
Julianna Marguelise-about as beautiful as you can get.
Shakira- has shown the world that having a large butt can be sexy.
I do not know her name- but the sweet doe eyed girl who played the Princess of Wales in the movie Braveheart.
UN-sexy men and women:
Sean Connery-pretty to look at, until he opens his mouth in an interview.
Sarah Jessica Parker-she sin't even attractive at all, and acts about as well as I did in my first grade school play.
Winona Ryder-used to think she was very sexy until the recent shoplifting events...when you have as much as she does, why in the world would you want to steal a few grand worth of clothes from a department store? Totally uncool and unsexy.
Anna Nicole Smith-this girl is something else...if anyone has seen her antics on her show...well, need I say more?
Britney Spears-Dressing and dancing provacitavely is fine, but if you do-don't spout on about your innocence and virginity in interviews, and be selling Barbie dolls of yourself to 6 year old girls...
12-14-2002, 12:07 AM
Um... Ellis, honey? What the **** are you talking about!?!??!?! LOL!
12-14-2002, 07:14 AM
VELVET!! You said, "Aw. Ellis I love mice! ..." What mice?!
12-14-2002, 05:09 PM
LOL! You said I bought a mouse and it's acting like a six-month old. LMAO!!!!
12-14-2002, 05:52 PM
OH!!!! I meant a mouse for my computer!! heh heh.
It's brand new but it's acting like a piece of crap.
12-14-2002, 07:00 PM
I figured as much. Unfortunately humour doesn't always translate over the net. LOL!
12-14-2002, 11:28 PM
12-15-2002, 08:00 AM
Oh my gosh, Den. I thought you were saying something "deep", and I couldn't figure it out. Chaka Kahn! Yes, very sexy. heh heh.
12-15-2002, 10:07 AM
then I must add : Tina Turner. That woman is absolutely luscious and I can only hope to have even a fraction of those kinds of looks when I get to that point in life.
12-15-2002, 06:17 PM
I want legs like Tina Turner's!
12-15-2002, 07:09 PM
12-16-2002, 06:50 AM
Yeah she sure does have great legs and the rest of her too. MMMmm
And how about that Stan Jones?!
He's my son's favorite colour!
12-16-2002, 11:49 AM
Ellis- You are so cute~that's Chaka Kahn not CHAKRA Kahn  unless of course you use her music to meditate to
12-16-2002, 02:51 PM
Wait a minute... Chaka Kahn!? Isn't that how I spelled it? I had to look her up, because I had no idea who she is.
Thank you... I am very cute. :D
12-16-2002, 03:03 PM
ADORABLE!! I keep telling you that!!
12-16-2002, 03:34 PM
Oh Ellis, you did spell Chaka right! I was just being funny cause you said you thought that Den had said something deep~ chakras are part of hindu
philosophy/religion hence the Chakra Kahn thing
12-16-2002, 03:38 PM
I did know that! heh heh.
I'm a little slow today. My sister just emailed me and said she thinks she needs a B12 shot. I'm thinking the same of myself. :D
12-16-2002, 04:41 PM
How about a B-52 shot? Heh, heh, heh
12-16-2002, 05:22 PM
heh heh. I'll take a couple.
12-16-2002, 05:46 PM
B-52 Shot? Does it have Kate Pierson and Fred Schneider sing to you while you take it?
"If you see a fadeed sign on the side of the road..."
Sorry. Just feeling silly :)
12-16-2002, 05:53 PM
Actually; Squeak, it's a bomb. :D
12-16-2002, 10:54 PM
12-17-2002, 01:06 AM
Tori Amos is very sexy.
12-17-2002, 07:26 AM
Den, you're confusing me again. Is Rock Lobster an actor?
12-17-2002, 09:13 AM
hehe  Sorry Ellis.
Rock Lobster is a B52's song. It was in response to my singing of Love Shack. :)
Just more silliness is all. :D
12-17-2002, 09:26 AM
Woof! You girls are way over MY head! ;)
12-17-2002, 01:59 PM
Squeaker & Den... I got the joke! :)
12-17-2002, 02:13 PM
Now look here, Sojo. Are you bragging about your education and my lack of, again?
12-17-2002, 03:12 PM
I remember them. They used to be called The Prawns!
(I have no idea what this whole thread is on about but I do know enought not to end a sentence with a prepositon.)
12-17-2002, 03:17 PM
That may be so, but you sure as **** don't know how to spell "enough".
And don't start with those freakin' flat jokes again. You're making my stomach churn.
12-17-2002, 10:43 PM
I can't digest that.....
12-17-2002, 10:46 PM
Me either. In fact, I feel a little ill.
12-17-2002, 10:50 PM
Drink some bettermilk.
12-17-2002, 10:56 PM
Yeah. That and a box of smarties.
12-17-2002, 11:03 PM

oh! there's a guy that plays the president on a show called 24
(?) "I think" I saw him in an interview once.. Big Black guy,, deepest voice, most beautiful smile..
Maybe that's the wrong show, but I'm not sure.. He mesmerizes me.
Not so sexy:
Absolutey number 1 on my list. Tom Cruise...
I have to agree 100% on Sarah Jessica Parker
I'll think of more later :)
12-17-2002, 11:08 PM
Oh, yeah... that guy from the mummy is very hot. He looks a little like George Harrison. (in his better days. Ummm, when he was alive.)
12-17-2002, 11:10 PM
That guy from the Mummy is cute, but I like John Hannah. I don't remember what his name was in the movie. He was also in Sliding Doors, and the now cancelled tv show MDs.
12-18-2002, 12:03 AM
I think Hugh Grant is really sexy, yummy, and Colin Firth too. I just watched Bridget Jones's Diary. I loved it, but I liked the book better (naturally). Didn't someone already mention Jet Li? yeah, he's hot. And this guy who sent me a note saying he wanted to meet me from Hot or Not, he is way hot! Check him out.
12-18-2002, 11:47 AM
Velvet, I agree - Hugh Grant and Colin Firth (decisions, decisions...) - I loved Bridget Jones too (book and movie).
I forgot Orlando Bloom - the guy who plays Legolas in Lord of the Rings...He is on a magazine cover this week (of course I forgot WHICH magazine!) and isn't he gorgeous! My daughters think that Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) is very cute but I like Legolas better!
12-18-2002, 02:22 PM
Velvet he is very cute! But what do you think of Shanara. Now she is hottt, don't you agree. Very sexy Shanara!! And again I say welcome!
12-18-2002, 05:08 PM
Brendan Fraser...ESPECIALLY when his hair is long!! YUMMY!!
12-18-2002, 07:55 PM
He was really nice in George of the Jungle
Me? lol...thank you... Just wish I stil looked like that lol.....In time..In time.
I found some old pictures of when I was 21 an put them up today.... man. I figure if I make myself look at those, then sticking to my weight loss plan this time might be easier.
I went down 0.5 today btw 228.5 :)
12-18-2002, 10:34 PM
Welcome Shanara!!! Virginia is right you know!! You are a gorgeous and sexy woman. HEAVIER AND LIGHTER.
