Default I need friends...

Before I had the twins...and got married...I had a TON of friends.

Now I have like 3 that live close to me...and a couple that are father away...maybe like 5 that I talk to on a semi regular basis.

But no one that's going through this. I just want someone I can chit chat with and text and whatever...gah. It blows.

It's depressing. I used to be so much fun and now...not so much.

This is why I'm so glad I at least found 3FC for some support and sharing. I'm not a person with many IRL friends either, and certainly none who are going through the same things I am right now.

I'm more complacent about friends. I used to think I needed a whole lot to stay happy, but now I'm very very satisfied with two close friends I see everyday, and hang out with every now and then, and one that lives across the country. They make me happy and they're there when I need them, and although they're all skinny and absolutely beautiful, they know how to support me better than anyone else

Most of my friends ditched me when I got married and had children! I was never a drinker and they like to go to the bar a LOT so we really had nothing in common anyhow. I know exactly how you feel which is why I come here for support and everyone here has been so awesome!

My husband is my very best friend but he doesn't understand what it's like to be heavy or have an eating disorder. He's very supportive but I like that I have this site to fall back on when I have a bad day. If you ever want to chat inbox me or if you're on my Facebook we can IM =D

That's exactly it! I don't go out and drink anymore or anything like that...so it's like they think we no longer have anything in common. It's annoying...there's more to life than bars.

My one best friend...I dunno...I see her once or twice a month...but she just doesn't get where I'm coming from. If I'm late for something...she gets mad...Um...I have 1 year old twins...sometimes I'm late. All of my other really close friends are scattered.

I love spending time with my husband...but sometimes I just need "girl time". I feel like all I am now is someone's wife and someone's mother.

I'll definitely IM You! Thanks Kim!

I just got married 8 months ago and my group of friends pretty much disappeared when that happened. I still see them once in awhile and keep in touch with them via FB, but we arent as close as we used to be...it was really depressing for me at first but then I realized that we're just on a totally different wavelengths now. They are all still single and still bar-hopping and being wild and crazy all the time and, honestly, I think I like my new 'settled' life much better! I actually like coming home and hanging out with my husband and going to bed at a reasonable hour...and I realized that, although I will always love my friends and be there for them, I think its time for me to get a new group of friends...ones that I have a little more in common with!
