Default 3 Packets - if you add an extra meal

Not sure if the title makes sense.
My question is if I have an extra meal(real food) should I still be eating my 3 packets.
Like today..... got up later than normal, sat around had a few coffees, then we decided to go and have breakfast.... on the way we had a few stops to make by the time we got to the restaurant it was lunch time. I ordered chicken breast and a salad, then tonight for supper I had a salad with ground beef... So should I still have my IP packets or just skip them for today and start back tomorrow.

I was told to get your packets in. There is a lot of protein that you need to take in to do the program correctly. I had the same issue a few times, but I found what worked for me was to take some drink packets along with me (they are small and can fit just about anywhere) and get a bottle of water. It mixes up just fine when I'm on the run or traveling.

I am hoping that Carla or Linden will chime in here. It is my understanding (not sure I am correct as coaches can differ greatly) that you need to get all 3 of your packets in. The protein in packets is not like cooked protein so your body processes it differently.

You're absolutely right. Where DF went wrong was to have two meat meals a day.
